Me and Izzy go into the training room where Alec was using a stick to fight. It was hot. I'm horny just watching.

"Promise me you won't go through with it. Promise me you'll say no." Izzy says to Alec. I just wait for an answer.

"What are you talking about? Say no to what?" Alec asks. He look at me for a second.

"They're gonna make you marry." Izzy says.

"Who's they?" Alec asks her.

"Our parent are making plans for both of us." Izzy tells him.

"No, you heard wrong." Alec says. He then hits the bag thingy.

"It's true, Alec. They need a political alliance quickly to restore our family name and our influence at the Clave." Izzy tells Alec making him scoff.

"I knew Clary Fray would come back to bite me in the ass. So wait, when I'm getting married, what are you doing?" Alec says.

"They need me to convince the Clave to placate the Seelies somehow." Izzy says. I go to the table with weapons.

"You're playing the diplomat? Again? That's my job. That's what I'm supposed to be o be doing!" Alec says mad.

"I know that. But I'm the one with ties to the Seelies." Izzy tells Alec which makes him scoff. Pretty knife.

"Is that what you're calling it now?" Alec asks walking to the table with weapons, where I'm at.

"Alec, I'm on your side." Izzy says. Alec turns around to look at Izzy.

"Really? I have followed every rule. I've given up everything!" Alec says raising his voice.

"Well find a way out of this." Izzy says putting a hand on Alec's shoulder. Alec shoved it off.

"Screw the rules. Screw them. Screw all of this." He says. He then walks off.

"Alec." Izzy calls out for him.

"Why was I here with you again?" I ask Izzy.

"Because, I thought with you here he would change his mind. You should go with him." I roll my eyes and go after Alec.

I run as fast as I can in heels. I see him and run to him. "Alec." I say. He turns around.

"Where are you going?" I ask him.

"Why?" He asks. I give him a look. "I'm going to Magnus's." He says rolling his eyes. I smile.

"Okay. Let's go." I say walking off. He grabs my arms.

"Who said you're going?" He says. I laugh.

"I did. Now let's go." I say pulling Alec.

As we walk into Magnus's home we can hear something happening. We go deeper into his house. I gasp as I see Magnus fainting. Alec goes and grabs him. I go besides him.

"Help me." He says to Alec and me. "I need your strength." Alec looks at Magnus's hand that is raised.

"Wait, why me?" I ask. He gestured to his shoulder.

"Because." I roll my eyes and put my hand on his shoulder.

"Take what you need." He says grabbing Magnus's hand. He pushed Magnus up. Luke starts to grunt in pain. It felt like I was being drained.

"Clary!" I hear someone exclaim.

"Do you have it?" Clary asks.

"Yeah." I can faintly hear. Luke groans in pain. I can feel people around me but can't see. My eyes are closed. Magnus goes in Alec's arms tiredly, while I go in his.

"Hey... Clary." Luke says.

"Alright." Alec asks us.

"Yeah." Magnus say. I feel my eyes close. I can feel someone shake my shoulder but I can't move. I felt too tired. I wasn't used to this amount of power being drain from me.

"Mom, mom!" I shake my mom's shoulders. "I'm sorry." I cry. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. Wake up." I cry. I hug my mom body.

"Ariel. We need to go. Where's your sister?" My dad says to me as he kneels down. He doesn't look at at his wife's body, my mom, in the fear of crying. I look and him with tears.

"I don't know. What about mom." I cry.

"We have to go. The house is going to fall."That was then where I realized, everywhere fire surrounded us.

"We need to go." My dad tells me again. We hear a cry up stairs. "RUN!" My dad yells at me. "I'll get your sister." He says running to get her.

I run. I run as fast as I can, leaving my mom behind. "This is all my fault." I say. "This is all my fault."

"It's all my fault." I say sitting up.

"Hey." I hear. I look up and see Alec with a worried expression. I let out a cry. "What did I do." He says worried.

"It was my fault." I say crying. His eyes furrowed.

"What was?" He asks.

"I killed my mother." I tell him.

"Didn't she get kidnapped?" He asks me.

"No, my birth mother." I tell him. I look at my hands which were in his. I pull them back. I scoot away from him. "Don't touch me. I'll hurt you." I tell him.

"You would never hurt me. What is this about?" He says.

"I killed her. Me. Who's to say I would kill you." I tell him.

"What?" He says confused.

"I have powers. Or what ever they are called. Izzy basically says I'm a elemental." I tell him. "My ability is fire." I choke out and cry. "And I killed my mother." A tear escaped my eye. He grabs my shoulders bringing me into a hug.

"No! I'll hurt you." I tell him but he wouldn't let go.

"No you won't." He says as he grabs my face. He rubs my cheeks as he looks at my eyes. His eyes trail to my lips.

"I-" One moment we were looking at each other then we were kissing. He grabs my waist with one hand and pulls me closer.

I could feel butterflies in my stomach. I tangle my hands into his hair. It truly felt like I was dreaming. We pull apart and put our foreheads on each other's.

"You don't know how long I've been wanting to do this." Alec tells me making me smile.

"I could say the same." I say smirking.
