As I walk around the Institute, looking for people to annoy, I see Alec running. I look at him suspiciously. I dial Liv's number on my phone.

"Meet me in the entrance." I say and end the call. "What are you doing?" I say to myself.

"It must be hard being in love with Jace and he's straight and everything." Me and Liv hear Clary say. I hide behind a tree.

"Oh hell no." I muttered going towards them but Liv pulls me back.

"Calm down." She tells me.

"Excuse me? What?" Alec says shocked.

"What's the big deal? I was there when the memory came out. Busted, no?" She says making me mad.

"We're parabatai." He says.

"Alec, just say it, you'll feel better. You're in love with Jace." She tells him.

"Forget it. You know what? You're in love with Jace." He says.

"Oh, okay? The middle school comeback? Nice. Alec, we have a real problem to solve, okay?"

"Why did you bring it up then." I come out from behind the tree. They look at me and Liv confused.

"What are you guys here?" Alec asks.

"I saw you running so I followed you. Oh and made Liv come with me." I tell him.

"We have to go. Come on." Clary says. "Go back to the Institute." Clary tells me and Liv. I roll my eyes. Liv grabs me.

"She's right. With you guys there we'll take for ever to get out." Alec says rudely.

"But—" "Just go." Alec says to me sternly.

"Let's just go." Liv tells me. I scoff as we walk away. "We should go shopping." She suggests. I smile. "They don't even notice we're there so they won't notice we're gone."

"Fine. Your right." I say grabbing her hand. What we didn't know was that a car was following us.

"We should have gone back to the Institute." I tell Liv. Well we got kidnapped. The people who kidnapped us want the Mortal Cup which we don't have.

"I didn't know we would get kidnapped." Liv says panicking. "Or even hung upside down." Liv cries. Oh yeah we're hung upside down.

"I feel so violated. We are wearing skirts!" I say moving uncomfortable.

"Clary!" We hear someone shout. We look up and see Simon. "What the." He says as two men put him upside down like us. The men walk out.

"This...again." He says.

"Try wearing a skirt!" Liv screams at him. Simon grunts as he breaks the hand cuffs.

"Whoa!" He says. He lands on the floor and unties the ropes on his feet.

"Help us." I say.

"Hurry!" Liv screams at him.

"No need to scream." He says helping her then me. I go in a corner as Liv lays on the floor. Simon tries opening up the window bars but can't.

"How long have you guys been here?" He asks us.

"We don't know. We were going to shop until they took us." Liv says. Simon opens the locker and finds a locker. Liv calls someone but they don't answer her.

"Call Alec." She tells me.

"Can't, he blocked me." I say. He groans.

"Jace? Izzy? Clary?" She asks but I shake my head.

"They all blocked me after I sent them some memes." I tell her. She cries.

"They blocked me too. We're doomed." She rocks back and forth. I go and hug her.

"It's okay." I tell her. I look at Simon.

"Who do I call? Simon think, who do you call?" Simon says to himself. We look at Simon. I we get up.

"Oh, I thought I'd never utter these words, but thank you God it's you. It's me Simon." Simon says.

"I don't know. Some Chinese restaurant, I think?" Simon says.

"Who is it?" Liv asks.

"It's Jace." He answers Liv. "This cop Alaric arrested us, but it was a total fake-out. Him and his buddy, they took us... oh and they even took Ariel and Olivia." Simon says to Jace.

"They took us to their hangout and then told Clary that they'll kill her if they don't find the Cup." He says panicking.

"Put the phone on speaker." I tell Simon. He does.

"Tell us what you see."

"Okay. Uh..." Simon says. I grab the phone.

"We're on a pier." I say looking outside.

"There's a toon of water. Uh..." Simon continues.

"Ariel." I hear someone say in the background.

"I see lockers and... I'm in some sort of torture chamber." Simon says.

"Or someone's just very kinky." I say. Simons glares at me.

"Not the time. There's claw marks all over the wall." He says.

"Okay, Simon, Ariel, you need to get more specific. Tell us what you see. Help us find you." Jace says.

"We just told you." Liv says.

"There's nothing else that can help— wait, hold on! Hold on." Simon says taking a paper out of the locker. He grabs the phone.

"I'm at the jade Wolf Chinese Restaurant on the pier at Greene St. and they have really inexpensive cocktails." Simon says.

"I need one." Liv mumbles. "How much do they cost."

"Just hurry, just hurry." Simon says panicking.

"You need to create diversion. Stall them." Jace says.

"How? All I have are clothes and a lighter. Maybe we can have Olivia sing them to death."

"Start a fire, Simon." Jace says making my eyes widened.

"That never works! Have you ever seen an action movie?" Simon says.

"We're in our way." Jace hangs up on Simon. Simon clicks the lighter but it doesn't work.

"It doesn't work." He says panicking. I look at him and Liv.

"I'm going to do something. You can never say anything to anyone about it. Ever." I say sternly. "Even Clary. No one. Even diary's." I say. They nod. Fire surrounds my hand. Simon looks to the side.

"Hey look." We look at the sign. Halon 1301 Manual Discharge

"You've got to be kidding me. I showed you guys for nothing." I groan.

We look up to the window and see Izzy's whip. The bars are pulled out of the wall. Izzy appears.

"I'm getting seriously tired of saving your life." She tells Simon.

"I am not!" Simon smiles. Liv glares at him. She clears her throat.

"Liv!" Izzy exclaims.

"I almost died." Liv says dramatically. We get out and walk through the fog.

"Clary!" "Simon!" Clary and Simon exclaim and rung to each other.

"Oh my god." She says hugging him.

"Are you okay?" Simon he asks worried.

"I was so worried." She tells him.

"I hate to break up this little reunion, but we got a bunch of werewolf's trying to kill us so maybe we should get going—" Jace says.

"Wait, wait, the box. My backpack. I think I left it at the loft." Clary tells Alec putting a hand on his arm.

"No, we've got it. I did screw up everything." Alec says showing the backpack.

"Let's get out of here, then." Simon says.

"Wait, Simon! Whatever you do, do not make any fast moves." Izzy tells Simon. You could hear werewolf's growling.

"You've got to be kidding me." Liv says.

"This can't be good." Jace says.

"No! Really!" Liv says sarcastically. They all get their weapons ready.

"We're surrounded. Everyone stay together." Alec says. Werewolf's surround us all over.

"You don't have to tell me twice." Liv says grabbing Izzy arm.

"Believe me, I'm not going anywhere." Simon says. I hear a click.

"Everyone, get back, that's the alpha leader." Jace says. The wolf goes running towards us.

"Jace, behind!" Clary says as we hear a howling. The wolf that howled jumped on the alpha. They fight. You would hear them growl and whine. I look away.

"He's challenging the alpha." Alec says.

"He's helping us." Clary says in delight.

"Or cutting in line to kill us." Simon says. A wolf turns into a man.

"The alphas dead." Clary says. The other turns into Luke.

"Oh, my god, Luke." Clary says just as the other werewolf's howl. They turn back to human form.

"What?" Clary says. They go on their knee.

"Are they proposing?" I ask.

"What is it? What's happening?" Clary asks.

"When a werewolf kills the alpha leader, he becomes the new alpha. Your friend Luke's the leader of the pack now." Jace says.

"He's our moms fu- I mean 'friendly' friend." I say smiling.

"Clary..." Luke says.

"No." Jace says as Clary tries to leave his grasp.

"It's okay." She tells him.

"I promised your mother is always protect you." He says.

"Luke! Oh, my god!" Clary says as Luke falls.

"Hey, we need to get Clary back to the Institute and stay out of Downworlder business." Alec tells Jace.

"Why don't you stay out of it? I'm going to help Clary." Jace say about to walk away but Alec stops him.

"We have to report back to our mother." Alec tells Jace.

"You and Isabelle can do that. I'll be fine on my own." Jace says walking towards Clary, Simon, and Luke. They leave to Magnus's. To save Luke.

"Are you two okay?" Izzy asks Alec.

"I don't know." Alec answers.

"If you guys have forgotten, we happen to be here. But you guys probably have." Liv says.

"Let's go." I say to Liv.

"Where are you guys going?" Alec asks us. I turn around.

"To the Institute." I say.

"We'll go with you." Alec says grabbing my arm and makes me walk with him. "We wouldn't want you to get kidnapped again." He says. I scoff.

"Slow down, you walk to fast." I tell him.

"I'm not walking fast, your just too short." He says making me slap his arm.

"I want a piggy back ride." I say crossing my arms.
