The next month rolls by. Camila is busy spreading her debut album around the country, together with her record label and Lauren is busy not touching any alcoholic beverages and trying to stay clean.

"Babe, I have barely seen you this week.." Lauren wines on the phone, talking to her girfriend, who's busy trying to combine school with her new career and her new girlfriend. "I miss you."

Lauren listens how Camila's laugh sounds through the phone. "You saw me two days ago, loser." She says, to which she smiles as well. 

"It feels like fucking months." Lauren says. "When will you be home?"

"Home as in my own place or yours?"

"Home as in me?" Lauren asks hopefully, making Camila squeak on the other side of the country. 

"You better stop being so cute or my music career will flop." Camila says. 

"Why would it?" 

"Because I wouldn't leave the house and only spend time with you." 

Lauren laughs as she lays on the couch, a bowl of cereal placed in front of her on the table. She hears some noice on the other side of the phone then before Camila tells her that she should go. "I'll see you on Monday."

"Okay." Says Lauren, slightly disappointed that she already has to hang up the phone, even though they had been talking for about half an hour. "Please don't get run over by a taxi." She tells her girlfriend, who chuckles and tells her goodbye after.

Camila is in New-York City for the weekend, promoting her album at many tv-shows and radio stations. Lauren had never ever seen an artist grow big, this fast. She'd always thought that her career had been quite flawless, but it seemed nothing in comparison to her girlfriends. Camila Cabello was turning into one of the biggest names in the pop industry in no time, and she was so proud. 

"Hey Laur," A voice called out from the kitchen. "Did we still have some sushi left from last night?" 

Lauren looked up from her phone, seeing a familiar girl standing in the kitchen, in just her underwear.

"Lucy.." She breathes out.
