THEY ARRIVED AT THE ICE SKATING RINK AND AMELIA GOT A LITTLE NERVOUS.

Stiles opened the door and she couldn't help but to smile a little, the nerves slowly fading away. She proceeded to place a kiss on her boyfriend's cheek before walking next to Allison and Lydia towards the inside.

"Could it be any more cold in here?" Asked Amelia to her boyfriend sarcastically as she put on the skates he brought her.

Stiles pulled out a orange hoodie from his bag and the girl chuckled, putting it on.

"I feel like I'm in a summer camp." Stiles raised his eyebrows. "I love it. Even though Lydia would definitely say something like 'orange and blue don't go together'."

"I'm thinking about it!" Exclaimed Lydia from a few steps behind, making both chuckle.

The guy pulled out a Reese from his bag and gave it to her, making Amelia smile as she opened it, starting to eat it.

"But, you know," started Stiles saying, getting her attention, "blue and orange may not go together, but sometimes there's other things you wouldn't think would be a good combination end you turning out to be like, a perfect combination, you know." The girl raised her eyebrows. "Like, two people together who nobody ever thought would be together... ever."

She knew she meant them. Stiles was sometimes terrible at expressing what he was thinking about, but when he did, beautiful words leave his mouth.

"No, I can see that," she said to him, making Stiles abruptly look at her.

"You can?" She nodded.

"Yeah..." Amelia looked over to Scott and Allison. "They are cute together."

Stiles turned around to look at them before looking at Amelia, who couldn't help but to burst out laughing.

"Oh yeah, cute... adorable," he mentioned, sarcastically, making her laugh still. "I can't with you."

"You like me anyways." The girl placed a gentle kiss on her boyfriend's lips before standing up, looking at the skating rink. "What if we give this a try?"

The guy exhaled as she grabbed his hand dragging him inside the ice-skating rink.

Amelia slowly stepped in, trying to maintain balance while Stiles placed his hands on her waist, trying to guide her.

"My hero," she whispered as he placed his nose on her cheek, chuckling, before they slowly started moving forward. "I'm gonna fall."

"You are not gonna fall."

They looked up towards Scott, who took a step inside the ice before quickly falling onto his back, making the girl burst out laughing.

"Okay! Okay! I can't be worse thanโ€” Oh!"

The girl placed her foot wrongly and fell onto her back the same way Scott did, Stiles rushing in to catch her, but failing.

"Ha!" They heard a loud mock, making the girl sit down quickly to look at Scott pointing at her, sitting on the ice. "I bet I can learn faster than you!"

"Scott, don't make bets you can'tโ€”" started Allison but Amelia interrupted.

"Oh yeah!?" Amelia said before starting to stand up, Stiles helping her since she was going to fall again. "I'm going to kick your little doggie ass!"

"You are gonna be the one that needs protection next!" Yelled Scott as he tried to stand up.

Amelia looked over to Stiles after she could finally gain balance, glancing at him with a big smile.

"You ready to kick Scott's ass?"

"You bet..."

Stiles tried to teach the girl how to skate, but it was almost impossible. She didn't like it.

"Okay, slide, don't try to walk," he told her as he held her hands. He was skating backwards while she tried to follow him. "Look at you, you are doing it!"

"I'm doing it!" She exclaimed as she let go slowly of Stiles hands, trying to reach him. "Oh my God! Look, baby, I can do it!"

Stiles was thrown out by the nickname for a few seconds, looking into his girlfriend's eyes as she tried to reach him while still maintaining balance. He was so distracted with what she had just said that he didn't see Scott coming at her like a bullet, trying to grab on to Amelia but provoking that the two fell on their backs.

"Scott!" She shouted.

"What's that, Coach?" Was what the werewolf said as Allison and Stiles arrive to their sides.

"You okay?" Stiles asked her and she nodded before turning around to look at Scott and Allison.

"I think that's enough ice skating for you, champ," told him Allison to Scott. "We'll be at the photo booth."

Amelia looked at her knee. By landing on it, a little blood had come out as it brushed against the eyes.

"Hey, you're bleeding," her boyfriend pointed out but she shook her head.

"It'll heal don't woโ€”" But she stopped mid-sentence when she realized what she said.

It won't heal.

"Ames?" He called her. "You zoned out for a bit."

"Yeah, I just," she whispered before looking at her boyfriend, giving him a little smile. "I was just thinking how I won over Scott."

Stiles chuckled, placing her hands on the girl's waist before leaning towards her, joining their lips.

The girl quickly closed her eyes, placing her arms around Stiles's neck as he pulled her closer to him, placing one of his hands on her hair.

She could stay like that forever, but they got interrupted by a scream coming from Lydia.

They quickly broke apart and Stiles skated towards the girl, kneeling next to her as he tried to make her stand up, but she was decided to stand on the ground, placing her hand on top of the ice, still screaming.

What the hell was going on with Lydia?

Scott had asked Amelia for help to confront Erica, and she dumbly agreed.

While Scott was watching her madly, Amelia was laying her back on the lockers, with a foot up placed against them too. She had her arms closed, and she was really not feeling like talking to that werewolf.

But, as Scott's protector, she decided to not let him do it alone.

When the werewolf noticed the presence of Scott behind her, she turned around, looking at the two.

"Two's not enough for Derek. I know he needs at least three," told her Scott as Amelia kept looking at Erica. "So who's next?"

Even though she was hiding behind those provocative clothes and layers of makeup, she knew that the same Erica Reyes was underneath that shield.

She was going to scare her out.

Once she gets her powers back, because now she was just some chick with purple eyes and some arrows.

Erica scoffed before slamming the locker close. "Why does there have to be a next when we've already got you?" Erica looked towards Amelia. "What? You've got a bodyguard now?"

"Who's next?" Insisted Scott, making the girl smirk.

"You know, I never knew what I looked like during a seizure until someone took a video of me once and put it online?"

"We don't care!" Intervened Amelia, but she continued her story.

"It happened during class," she said, and Amelia noticed that it really affected her. "I started seizing at my desk and everyone was saying how they should put something in my mouth until some genius reads the card on my key ring which tells him not to 'cause it could break my teeth."

"I'm gonna break your teeth," mumbled Amelia before Scott lifted his hand up, stopping her.

"Erica," he called her again.

"Do you know what happens next?" Scott remained in silence. "I piss myself."

Amelia looked away. She didn't want feel sorry for her, but she couldn't help it. She couldn't imagine living like that.

"And they start laughing," she muttered before she started approaching Scott. Amelia quickly lifted her back from the lockers, stepping towards them while Scott stepped back. "You know, the only good thing about seizures was that I never remembered them. Until some brilliant jerk-off..."

As soon as she lifted her arm, Amelia stepped in front of Scott, starting to breathe deeply, loudly.

"... decided to put cameras in everyone's phones," she finished. "But look at me now."

"I only smell wet dog," was the thing Amelia said before Scott stood next to her, both looking at her as she walked away.

"I'm gonna go find Allison," was the thing Scott said before walking away too.

Amelia looked over to Erica before following her, rushing her speed until she was close to her. The girl grabbed her by the wrist and tossed her aside on a classroom before closing the door.

"You really think you, a simple human, could beat me?"

Amelia turned around, revealing to Erica her purple eyes as they glow, making the blonde step back.

"What are you?" She asked her.

"Funny Derek didn't tell you," murmured Amelia as she approached her. "Guess he does have some pride."

Erica jumped towards her, Amelia being quick to react and tossed her aside. They started to fight, and she noticed that Erica was quicker than any werewolf she had even encountered, that included Peter.

She thought it was because she was a new born, and she at the pick of her career. Or, because she was a woman. One out of two.

But, as a new born, they were really bad at fighting. Quicker, but really bad at it.

Amelia tossed Erica aside, making her crash her back against the wall, the purple in her eyes slowly fading away as she made two steps towards her.

"You try to touch any of my friends again, and you won't live to tell it."

Before Amelia could get out, Erica asked as she slowly stood up.

"What are you?"

Amelia turned around to look at her, smirking. "I'm their protector."

As soon as she walked away, she cringe to that. She felt like Derek for a moment and she did not like it.

STILES <3I'm going over to Boyd's house I need you tomeet Scott at the ice-skating rink. We think he'sthe next werewolf

She was hiding under the bleachers of the ice-skating rink with her bow and arrow ready. She saw Boyd on the polisher machine, and Scott approaching him.

"Boyd!" Scott yelled and the girl knew to start aiming. "I just want to talk."

She tried to smell, but she could only pick up a small sense of werewolf.

It was a good thing, it meant that her powers were coming back rather sooner than later.

But she still doesn't know how she lost them in the first place.

"Hey, come on, Boyd, please!" Scott insisted. "Did Derek tell you everything?"

Could she just shoot the arrow and get this over with?

She knew Scott would forgive her, so... she remained still.

"And I don't just mean going out of control on the full moon. I mean everything!" He exclaimed. She had to congratulate Boyd on his persistence of not talking to the guy.

"He told me about the hunters." Oh crap.

"And that's not enough for you to say no?" Asked Scott. "Whatever you want, there's other ways to get it."

"I just want to not eat lunch alone every day." Snapped the guy, making Amelia frown.

That's what he wanted? There was a million ways to get that! Join a club! Write a book! Throw a party! Okay, she was no one to talk, she only had like five friends and that's counting Derek.

"If you're looking for friends, you can do... a lot better than Derek."

"That really hurt, Scott."

Amelia looked over to the entrance of the ice-skating rink, noticing Derek, Isaac and Erica standing there.

The girl slowly, trying not to make much noise, climbed over the bleachers, standing on the last one and tensing the string of her bow, aiming towards them.

"I mean, if you're going to review me... at least take a consensus."

Not yet...

"Erica, how's life been for you since we met?"

"Hmm. In a word..." Amelia wanted to shoot an arrow at her, but she remained still. "Transformative."

She roared at Scott, making her tense the string even more.

"Well, I'm a little bummed about being a fugitive," she heard him talk, and she seriously doubted of putting the bow down. It was Isaac underneath that smelly werewolf shield, but she has no other choice, "but other than that, I'm great."

"Okay, hold on. This isn't exactly a fair fight," defended Scott.

"Then go home, Scott..."

That was it.

She released the arrow, this one landing Erica's leg making her groan in pain. The werewolves looked at the arrow and the girl before Isaac talked.

"Hunters?"

"Worse..." murmured Derek.

Amelia took an impulse before jumping, landing both feet on the ice.

Scott proceeded to punch the ice behind him, breaking it before looking up, completely changed.

"I meant fair for them," talked Scott before he roared.

Erica removed the arrow from her leg before standing up. Derek looked over to his protector as she aimed her arrow towards him, before looking at his betas.

"Take him. I take her."

Both Isaac and Erica started fighting Scott, while Derek approached Amelia calmly.

"You don't want to shoot that arrow, Amy," Derek told her as she tensed the string, aiming at her. "You can't. You are obligated to protect me."

There was some kind of force stopping her from releasing the string. She heard as Scott fought Isaac and Erica, while Amelia kept aiming at the Alpha.

"Not if I don't trust you anymore, and guess what, Derek? I'm beginning to lose faith."

Derek chuckled, staring at her. "I can help you, Amelia. Maybe, the thing that's keeping your powers shut is the lack of fight, adrenaline." Amelia raised an eyebrow. "Don't tell me that you didn't feel great fighting against Erica today, huh? Finally, a worthy opponent. I mean," he chuckled, "you know the best way to protect Scott is to kill the hunters, don't you? And there's nothing you want more than to protect Scott, because he's Stiles best friend."

The mention of her boyfriend made her tremble a bit, yet she remained tensing the string of the bow, still aiming at Derek's forehead.

"Don't lie to me, Amelia, I can hear your heartbeat," he whispered. "After fighting Erica, your powers slowly started to come back."

"Shut up..."

"I can make them come back, Amy," he said, so sure of himself, "You help me kill the hunters by joining my pack and I give you your powers back. And together, we fight the Sealgairs."

"Amelia! Don't listen to him!" Yelled Scott before looking down at Isaac and Erica. "He doesn't care about you! Don't you see what he's doing!? This is not about you, he's just adding to his own power. He's turning all of you into a bunch of guard dogs!"

Scott slid two unconscious Erica and Isaac through the ice, making Derek look at Scott after Amelia put down her bow.

"It's true," he admitted, surprising Amelia. "It is about power."

She saw as Derek approached Scott, slowly changing.

"Amelia... now would be a good time to shoot."

"She can't Scott," said Derek in a deep voice. "It's just you and me now."

She saw as Derek and Scott started fighting, and she couldn't do anything.

She was protecting both, and at the same time... she was protecting none.

Amelia watched as Derek tossed Scott to the floor, leaving him weak, in pain, and she couldn't help but to gasp. As Derek walked towards her.

"It's not too late to join us, Amy," was what he said as they walked next to her. "You could stop feeling weak..."

She glanced over to Boyd, then Erica and finally Isaac before looking back at Derek.

She looked down before running with all her strength towards Scott, who was laying on the floor watching them go. She kneeled next to him, helping him stand up.

"Take me to the animal clinic," Scott told her. "Let's go."
