AMELIA HAD A LITTLE SECRET.

She had place a GPS on Allison's bracelet, the one she gave her. She never used it though, since she was never with Scott and that was the main reason she gave her the thing in the first place. To watch out for Scott.

Now, it was the first time she used it, as followed the red dot towards the back of the school where they park the buses. With bow in hand, she got out, and watched everything.

She watched as the Argents trapped Scott in between the two buses with their cars before they accelerated, with the mission of killing him.

She saw as the guy jumped in the air, landing perfectly fine in both of the hoods.

Amelia saw as Scott turned into his werewolf form, and she knew Allison was watching.

"Oh crap," she whispered before jumping onto the silver car, making Scott look at her. "Scott run!"

The werewolf listened to her as he took impulse and jumped on top of the school bus. The girl placed an arrow on her bow before aiming towards Argent's windshield, letting go off the string and it breaking into pieces as soon as the tip hit the glass.

"Amelia don't!" She heard Allison yell.

She heard a scream of pain, and before Allison's dad could shoot at her, she got off the car and run into the woods, following the sound Scott was making.

Everything was a mess. Everything was wrong.

Allison knew, Allison's father knew, there was only a matter of time until her father knew.

She was running through the woods desperately with no clue of where she was going, only following her instincts.

Only a few minutes ago the only she cares about was if Stiles was going to ask her to be his girlfriend.

Now, she was running through the woods in the middle of the night, trying to find a heartbroken werewolf while wearing a gala dress.

When she found him, he was crying on the ground, his jacket nowhere to be seen. The girl fell next to him, making him flinch before looking at her.

"She knows," he whimpered and she nodded. "She's gonna hate me now."

She didn't know what to say, which made Scott look up to her.

"This is the moment when you say she won't hate me and that she will understand." The girl looked at him for a few seconds. "Amelia..."

"Give her time," she whispered.

• • •

They were at the animal clinic. Amelia didn't comment about the GPS on Allison, she figured it was better to keep that information to herself for now.

In the meantime, she was still trying to call Stiles, yet, there was no answer. And that worried her more than any other thing.

"You need to tell her how you feel." The voice of Melissa came to her mind. Or Scott's mind, in fact.

Not now, she said to herself. Leave him alone.

The girl tried calling Stiles again, but he wasn't picking up.

"Come on, come on, come on, come on," she repeated softly, trying not to cry. "Please pick up, please pick up."

The dogs at the vet starting to howl and groan, making Amelia look towards Scott.

"Are you doing that?" But he didn't reply. He just kept staring at the door.

The girl looked back at her phone before dialing Stiles's number again, hoping he would pick up this time.

But it kept sending to voicemail.

"Hi, it's me again," she said, "would you please call me and tell me Lydia's okay. I'm with Scott. Stiles, please call me, I need to know you're okay. Please."

She hung up again, leaning her back against the brick wall.

Everything was a mess. Everything was going wrong.

"I know how to find Derek," was the thing Scott said before staring at the door for a long time. "Follow me."

"Do I have another choice?" But Scott was already out. "Crap..."

She grabbed her bow and arrows and ran behind the werewolf. This was not good. This was not good at all.

• • •

She saw as Scott climbed one of the rocks. They were in the middle of the woods, it was cold and Amelia was freezing.

Her sister was too kind and put a change of clothes inside her bag so she changed behind a tree. That made her think of her. How was Lizzie doing? What was she doing right now with Melissa? Was she okay? Did her dad found her?

Did her dad was even looking for her?

She heard Scott howl with all the strength he got, making her look up to the city.

After he howled, he stepped back, walking towards her. They both looked around, waiting for the reply.

After a few seconds, the guy turned around and started walking away, giving up. Amelia looked over him, and right when she was about to say something, they heard a howl.

"Derek," she whispered to herself as Scott heard the howl too.

"Follow me," Scott told her before both started running.

She tried not to miss a step. Even though she was faster than any human and she was linked to two werewolves, she was still a bit slower than Scott. She didn't want to trip and lose him, so she tried to be as careful as she could, running right next to him.

"Scott," she said mid running. "How are we gonna deal with the Sealgairs?"

"You are my protector, right?" She nodded, trying to follow up his step. "Then watch my back."

It's easier said that done, was what she thought.

Where were they going?

But her answer seemed interrupted when an arrow flew over their heads, interrupting them mid run.

"That's my dad," she said to Scott. "Where do I meet you?"

"Derek's house." The girl nodded before the werewolf kept running, faster than before.

The girl turned around, looking at her father as his bright purple eyes shined through the darkness.

Amelia dropped her bow and his father dropped his with his arrows, both looking at each other intensely.

"You are protecting a werewolf," he said. "That equals death."

"If you would have done your research, like I did," started the girl before dropping her bag and her arrows. "You would know that... when a seeker links with a werewolf..." She heard Derek's voice in the back of her head.

"There's a reason why your family would kill you if they ever find out, and it's because of this abilities you are finding out about right now. These abilities are only unlocked when a seeker finds its creature. You gain your creature's powers. You might not get fangs and claws, but you get our strength, our reflexes, every supernatural ability we have..."

The girl's eyes started to get purple as she looked at him.

"... you get their powers."

His dad attacked her but she was stronger. She fought back, watching as he did every move.

"I really don't know what it was. It was like I had all the time in the world to catch the ball," she remembered Scott saying when they were out in the woods, finding his inhaler.

It was like she had all the time in the world to fight him.

She could jump higher, run faster, kick harder.

Her father couldn't catch up.

"Where's Lizzie?" He asked her as she kicked him in the chest.

"Won't tell ya," she replied before placing her fists in front of her face. "How's mom?"

Her father tried to punch her but she avoided it by going down.

"Crushed... she'll get over it..." Amelia raised her eyebrows. "After your funeral."

They kept fighting before she kicked him in the leg, making him fall over.

The girl grabbed one of the arrows that her father had, identifying by the green end as a tranquilizer before stabbing in his leg, making him yell.

"Thirty seconds until the tranquilizer kicks in," she said before looking at him. "Are there more?"

"They left," he replied. "They saw your act as treason... and left."

"Where? Where are they!?"

But he didn't reply since the tranquilizer finally kicked in. The girl got up, grabbing her father's arrows and putting them on her bag before grabbing her bow and her father's crossbow, turning around to look at him.

"Bye dad," said the girl before starting to run towards the Hale house.

• • •

She saw Scott and Derek panting towards the house. When they heard her footsteps, they turned around to look at her, grateful that it was Amelia and not a hunter.

"What happened? The Sealgairs?" Asked Scott when he saw her approach them.

"I left my dad for dead in the middle of the woods and the others... my family... they left Beacon Hills." Scott and Derek looked at her confused. "They... they so my act as treason... or something, that's what my dad told him before the tranquilizer kicked in... and you guys have a lot of explaining to do about these new abilities I have because—"

"Hold on," interrupted Derek panting. "Something doesn't feel right."

"What do you mean?" Scott asked him as he looked around.

"I don't know. It was... it was kind of like it was..."

"No, don't say 'too easy'!" Interrupted him Amelia. "Don't jinx it, doggie. People say 'too easy' and bad things happen."

"Don't call me doggie," mumbled Derek.

"You think finding you was too easy?" Snapped Scott at him. "Amelia leaving her own father for dead and betraying her family?"

"It was kinda fun though," she murmured to herself.

"Getting away from Allison's dad?" Continued Scott with his monologue. "None of this has been easy!"

Derek sighed. "Fine. You're right."

Scott moved abruptly his head before exhaling. "Thank you."

And arrow flashed right in front of Amelia, landing in Derek's shoulder.

The girl tensed her bow and looked up towards the hill as she saw Allison next to her aunt, shooting another arrow, this one landing on Derek's leg.

"God, I hate girl hunters," whispered Amelia to herself before hiding behind a tree.

"Scott your eyes!" Derek yelled at him and Amelia closed hers, hearing the explosion of the arrow against the tree.

Amelia proceeded to run towards Derek, removing the arrow from his leg while Scott tried to focus his eyes.

Derek got up limping, walking with all his strength towards Scott.

"Watch our back!" Derek yelled her.

Amelia tensed her string and shoot towards Kate, but the arrow missed her.

As the hunters were distracted, Amelia followed Scott and Derek, shooting arrows at them anytime she had a chance.

"Allison I can explain," Scott told the girl.

"Stop lying," she said. "For once stop lying."

"So this is the team you chose Allison," Amelia whispered. "Fine..."

"Amelia!" Scott exclaimed towards her, making the girl stop. "Don't touch her..." Scott turned around to look at Allison again. "I was going to tell you the truth at the formal. Everything I said. Everything I did—"

"Was to protect me," the girl interrupted him.

"Yes," Scott affirmed as looked at them, still tensing the string, controlling herself from not aiming directly at Allison's head.

"I don't believe you," said Allison.

"Thank God. Now, shoot him before I have to shoot myself."

"You... you said we were just gonna catch them?"

"We did that," said Kate. "Now we're gonna kill them."

"God, Allison, you're so naive," whispered Amelia, making the girl look at her. "I tried to warn you so many times and you didn't listen."

"Come on, Sealgair," teased her Kate before shooting at Derek, "try to show me what you got now."

"Oh, you'll see," the girl muttered as her eyes turned bright purple.

Amelia tossed her bow aside and walked towards Kate, getting on a fight with her. The girl was about to kick Kate when the woman shot her, making her fall onto his back.

"Amelia!" She heard Allison yell.

"Amy!" Shouted Scott.

She tried to get up, but she couldn't. Only Kate Argent would bring a gun to a fist fight.

"See? Not that hard," said Kate as she approached her niece. "Oh no, I know that look. That's the 'You're gonna have to do it yourself' look."

"Kate, Kate, what are you doing?" She heads Allison beg.

She felt as Derek move towards her.

"Stand up, Amelia..." she heard his voice in her head.

"I can't..." she whispered.

"You are his protector... stand up."

"Own your chessboard," she heard the voice of her father in the back of her head.

"I love those brown eyes..." She listened to Kate whisper.

Amelia stood up slowly and painfully, and before she could toss her dagger towards the woman, the voice of Chris Argent interrupted them.

"Kate," he called her, "I know what you did. Put the gun down."

Amelia limped quietly to the side, letting herself fall on the floor again. She was a few inches away from her bow. She could do it. She needed to reach it.

She was using all of her strength in her body to reach that bow.

"I did what I was told to do..."

"No one asked you to murder innocent people," snapped Argent.

Amelia looked over Allison. The girl was on the floor, staring at her family, before her brown eyes glanced at the girl trying to reach her weapon.

"Please..." she whispered.

"There were children in that house," continued Chris, "ones who were human. Look what you're doing now. You're holding a gun at a 16-year-old boy with no proof he spilled human blood... We go by the code." He proceeded to say something in French, and Allison repeated it in English.

"We hunt those who hunt us."

Amelia stared at Allison as she looked at her back. She saw as the girl looked down at her bracelet on her wrist before kicking the bow to her, making Amelia able to grab it.

The protector slowly stood up, with all the strength she had, tensing the string and aiming towards Kate at the same time her brother pointed his gun towards her.

"Put the gun down," he repeated before shooting at the tree, right close to her, "before I put you down."

"I would listen to your brother if I were you," was what Amelia said, making Kate turn around to look at her before looking at Chris again.

The woman slowly put the gun down, and Amelia heard as Scott breathed again.

Everyone's attention was caught by the door of the Hale house opening slowly.

"Allison, get back," was the thing Chris Argent said.

"Amelia!" Exclaimed Scott to the girl as he stood up and she listened.

Amelia put the bow down and limped towards Allison, helping her to stand up and pulling her behind her as the two step backwards.

"What is it?" Allison asked, looking at the door from behind Amelia.

"It's the Alpha," replied Scott at the same time his eyes turned bright yellow.

"Allison," Amelia whispered to her. "Now would be a good time to use that bow."

Allison listened as both girls tensed their strings. Everyone saw as the wolf ran outside the house in full speed, making everyone turn around quickly.

They saw as the animal tripped down Chris Argent, and now it was a matter of seconds till he did the same with the rest.

"Amelia, get Allison safe..." was the thing Scott said, but Allison was being already tripped by the wolf, Amelia being next.

Later, Scott, leaving only Kate there.

They all saw as she kept screaming before Peter Hale, in his human form, grabbed the woman arm and pulled it up.

"Allison, where's your bow?" Amelia asked, but there was no reply. She didn't have it. "Stay behind me then."

They saw as Peter broke Kate's arm before throwing her to the house, making her fly before landing in pain.

"No!" Yelled Allison as she watched her sister being dragged by the throat. Allison stood up and enter the house, and Amelia tried to follow her limping, with Scott and Derek behind.

The heard it all while hiding. How Peter told Kate to apologize in exchange for her niece's life, and how late he killed that crazy woman.

The girl stood behind a wall, like the other werewolves did.

Amelia could only think of Stiles right now. Where was he? Why didn't he pick up her phone calls earlier? Was he okay?

Was he alive?

"... that apologize didn't sound very sincere."

As soon as she heard Peter's voice, the girl got out of her hiding spot, releasing the arrow.

The werewolf caught it mid-air, letting out a chuckle before breaking it in half.

"When are you gonna learn, Amelia, that arrows really don't work?"

"They work as a distraction," was what she said.

Scott and Derek appeared from the sides, jumping towards Peter.

Amelia was quick to grab Allison's hand and drag her out of the Hale house, picking up her arrow on the way.

"Wait, Amelia, my dad," she told her, stopping.

"I need you to get you safe, Allison, we can worry about your killer father another time."

"He's not a killer!" She exclaimed. "Please... you said you'll be by my side no matter who I care about."

"I was talking about Scott but... you have a point." Amelia sighed before nodding. "Let's go get him."

The two girls ran towards the unconscious body of Chris Argent, kneeling on the ground next to him and trying to wake him up.

"Dad, dad, dad," Allison called him, "come on, come on."

As they were trying to wake him up, they saw Scott being tossed against the window, landing on the ground.

"Oh, crap," whispered the girl as she stood up, placing an arrow on her bow and tensing the string.

She saw as the Alpha got out through the same window that Scott did, picking up his body as if he weighted like a feather.

"Shoot him!" Allison yelled at her.

"I don't have a clear shot. If I miss, I kill Scott."

Scott was quicker and kicked the Alpha on the stomach, tossing him far while Scott landed on his feet, staring at him.

A car pulled up, and Stiles got out of it, making Amelia smile.

The guy threw a bottle at the Alpha, this one grabbing it like he grabbed her arrow not even a few minutes ago.

"Oh, crap," she heard Stiles whisper.

It's the fire bomb. The Mojito Cocktail.

The girl aimed with her bow to the bottle, letting go of the string at the arrow breaking the glass as soon as it touched it, making it explode and burn the Alpha's arm.

Amelia run towards Stiles quickly, him catching her as she threw herself at him, hugging her by the waist.

"You're okay," she whispered.

"Of course I'm okay."

They both saw as one of the Alpha's arm started to burn. Jackson threw the other bottle at him, this one crashing against his back and creating a bigger fire.

Stiles pulled Amelia closer to him as they watch the Alpha lose control before walking towards Allison.

"No!" Yelled Scott, jumping and kicking him away, making the wolf lose control and land on the ground.

They saw Peter in his juman form, completely burned, as he weakly fall on his back.

Stiles put his hand on Amelia's head as she placed it on his shoulder, both watching the burned body of the Alpha trying to catch their breath.

They remained in silence for a few minutes before Amelia looked up to him, placing her hands on his cheeks with a tiny smile.

"So, about the thing you were gonna ask me a earlier," she said in a whisper, making the guy raise his eyebrows.

"Can we please at least wait until the fire is completely ceased?"

"Yes," she interrupted, murmuring. "I do."

"You do what?"

The girl closed her eyes before stepping in her tippy toes, kissing his lips softly. Stiles placed his hands against on her waist, pulling her closer to him.

Stiles Stilinski made her feel all kinds of things, and she realized while she was fighting that ugly evil creature, the only thing she could think about was if he was safe.

They slowly broke apart before looking at each other smiling.

"So... do you want to be my girlfriend?" The girl nodded, making him chuckle. "Great..."

Amelia's attention got caught by Derek as he approached Peter's body, and so was the rest of the team's attention.

"Wait!" Yelled Scott when he saw Derek kneeling next to Peter. "You said the cure comes from the one who bit you."

"Oh my God," whispered Amelia, making Stiles look at her, frowning. "Derek..."

"Stand back, Amelia," said Derek.

"Derek," called him again Scott. "If you do this, I'm dead." Amelia closed her eyes. "Her father, her family... What am I supposed to do?"

The all watched in silence. Amelia couldn't believe this was happening, and she clearly didn't want it to happen.

She just interlocked her fingers with Stiles, squeezing her hand tightly, fearing the worst.

"You've already decided," they heard Peter mumble. "I can smell it on you!"

Derek raised his hand, making Scott yell.

"Wait! No, no! Don't!"

But Derek had already ripped his throat out, making the girl gasp as Stiles pulled her closer to him.

The saw as Derek got up from the ground, his eyes turning bright red as he looked at the rest. Amelia placed a hand over her mouth, not believing it.

"I'm the Alpha now."

Scott, Stiles and Amelia entered Lydia's hospital room on their knees. The werewolf looked over to Stiles, giving him a nod with his head.

"Shut the door," Scott told him and Stiles proceeding to do it.

The door started creaking loudly, making Amelia roll her eyes while Scott frowned. They watched as Stiles kept closing it, stumbling to lock it.

"What?" He asked before the three stood up, walking towards Lydia.

The three stared at her in confusion as she slept peacefully, Stiles joining his palm with Amelia's as they kept observing the girl, maybe waiting for something to change.

Scott lifted her robe and started to peel off the bandage on Lydia's body. Stiles looked away while Scott and Amelia stared right at it.

"Is it completely healed?" Stiles asked them.

"No, not at all," replied Scott, making Stiles look.

"I don't get it. The doctor said she'd be fine," mentioned Stiles.

"Yeah, but the bite's not healing like it did with me."

Amelia started sniffing Lydia, making Stiles look at her in confusion.

"What are you doing, Lassie?" He asked to his girlfriend before she looked at the two.

"Well, she doesn't smell like wet dog. She smells... different. And not like Chanel N°5," mentioned the girl, recalling Lydia's perfume. "Just... different."

"Which mean," continued Scott, "she's not a werewolf."

"But she's not human," added Amelia.

"Then what the hell is she?" Questioned Stiles as the three looked at her.

• • •

"So Lydia is... something," summarized Amelia as they both walked through the woods. "Derek is an alpha and now he's not talking to me which kinda hurts considering we built a more or less friendship—"

"That I really do not approve," said Stiles as he tried to keep up with her.

"The psycho bitch of Kate is finally dead," continued Amelia before she stopped walking, looking around. "And my dad..."

"Your dad?"

"Was supposed to be here..." whispered the girl. "This is where I left him."

"You stabbed him with a tranquilizer," recalled Stiles, looking around. "Maybe, when he regained consciousness, he stood up and... left."

"No," the girl whispered, "I stabbed him with a werewolf tranquilizer. It's supposed to be for werewolf's bodies that have the ability to heal ten times faster than his and twenty times faster than a normal human. He should be here, or at least eaten up by animals or something." She saw as her boyfriend approached a tree not too far. "Stiles?"

Amelia looked over to where her boyfriend was watching, noticing a white paper pinched to the tree with the arrow that she used on her father.

The girl walked towards the tree, reading the note.

"We are coming for you Amy — SF"

"Please tell me that SF means something cool like Scott Fitzgerald or Sara Foster."

Amelia cleared her throat before looking at Stiles.

"It means... Sealgair Family."
