THE TRIO ARRIVED AT DEREK HALE'S HOUSE, GETTING OUT OF THE BLUE JEEP AS SOON AS HE LEFT. While Stiles and Scott were carrying shovels, Amelia was carrying her weapons. She figured that if she had to get into a fight with Derek Hale, she had to be prepared.
"Wait, something's different," pointed out Scott as they walked towards the side of the house.
"Different how?" Asked Stiles.
"I don't know," the werewolf whispered.
"Why do you have to be so cryptic all the time?" Defended the hunter as she tried to carry the normal bow and the crossbow at the same time. "Just say what's on your mind, stop being so mysterious."
Scott exhaled before walking towards the pile of dirt.
"Let's get this over with."
The girl watched as the two best friends began to dug. She left the crossbow inside her bag and put her normal bow around her chest, with her arrows behind her.
"Is it really necessary all those weapons?" Asked Stiles as he kept digging, the girl nod.
"Derek is a born-werewolf. Which mean he wasn't bitten, he was born being one." Scott raised his eyebrows. "He had the best teachers in the world. He's an experienced werewolf who isn't afraid to kill. And if he's the one that bit you, Scott, he's an alpha. Do you know what an alpha is capable of doing to me? He can kill me in two seconds, and he can kill you in a minute, Scott. That's why I'm not taking my chances. If he comes back, leave it to me."
Scott realized that it was better not to question Amelia's way to function. She may be a hunter in training, but she was good at what she did. And she was scary. He was finally starting to notice that it was better having her on his side.
"Stop, stop, stop," yelled Stiles to Scott. The girl was quick to put an arrow on her bow as she approached the guys, noticing the hole was way bigger than the last time she checked.
"Everything alright?" She asked, but there wasn't a response.
Stiles and Scott started using their hand to continue digging the dirt, and Amelia was too curious to not watch what they were gonna find.
"Hurry!" Yelled Scott.
"I'm trying," defended Stiles. "Did he have to tie the thing in like 900 knots?"
"I'll do it," said Scott, helping Stiles.
Amelia looked around the woods, seeing if Derek was coming, but finding nothing. She cleared her throat before looking back at the hole, just in time to see Scott and Stiles jumping out of it.
"What!?" Exclaimed the girl. "What is it!?"
"What the hell is that!?" Yelled Stiles.
Amelia looked inside, noticing there was the head of a black wolf covered with a dusty blanket, the smell that came from it made her dizzy.
"Amy?" Asked Stiles, but she quickly took some steps back.
"It smells terrible!"
"It's a wolf!" Exclaimed Scott.
"Yeah, I can see that. I thought you said you smelled blood! As human blood!" Argued Stiles.
"I told you something was different," said Scott, turning around to see Amelia. "And what's up with you?"
"That's not a wolf," she said, catching her breath. "If it was a wolf, it wouldn't smell like that. That's supernatural," the girl pointed out. "God, it's terrible."
Stiles looked up towards Amelia, just to notice the little flower next to her.
"What's wrong?" Asked Scott while Stiles pointed at the plant.
"Do you see that flower?"
Amelia look to her side, noticing the little purple flower.
"What about it?" Questioned Scott.
"It's wolfsbane," said Amelia. "That explains the smell."
"Wolfsbane triggers you too?" The girl nodded to Stiles question.
"Not in the same way as Scott. It's not lethal for me, it's just a pain in the ass... It amplifies my senses, so I can smell that... thing in there and Scott more than normally. It's disgusting. It's like my full moon," she explained, walking away from the flower while Stiles approached it.
"Wolfsbane is your friend and enemy at the same time," she heard the words of her father in her head. "If you learn how to control your senses, wolfsbane won't affect you. Like wolves learn how to control themselves under the full moon, supernatural hunters can learn how to control themselves around wolfsbane."
She breathed in deeply, turning around to see what Stiles was doing.
He had picked the flower off the ground, revealing it had a rope attached to it. He began to take it off the earth, walking backwards in a circle, taking it out. A red light in the form of a spiral appeared, and Scott was quick enough to stand up from the ground.
"Stiles," he called him and both Stiles and Amelia looked towards the hole.
"Woah!" Exclaimed Stiles as he jumped, while Amelia raised her eyebrows.
The other half of the girl's body was there instead of the wolf.
"Told you it was supernatural," whispered the hunter before letting lose her bow and placing the arrow back with the others.

"What's he doing?" Asked Amelia to Scott when they saw Stiles getting inside the sheriff's car. "Why does he want to talk to Hale?"
"I have no idea..." whispered Scott before looking at her. "I wanted to ask you something." She raised her eyebrows.
"Shoot." He breathed in before talking.
"You said you had... powers, like me... that the wolfsbane is your full moon, or whatever. What powers do you have?"
"As I told Stiles, the difference between my family and Allison's is that we were born to do it, while the Argents look at it as a job. I'm a supernatural hunter, it's my duty to keep the balance still and not let supernatural creatures hurt humans or expose the secret. I have the ability to hear and smell a creature even if it is miles away. I also have reflexes, strength, velocity... and a bloodlust, just like you."
"So you have advantage over Allison's dad?" The girl nodded.
"Ten of his men couldn't even count as one of ours," she explained. "You should begin to trust me, Scott... Me being by your side is a good thing for you."
They saw as the sheriff pulled Stiles out of the car, both listening the conversation.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Asked the sheriff as Stiles sighed.
"I'm just trying to help!" He defended.
"Uh-huh. Okay, well, how about you help me understand exactly how you came across this."
"We were looking for Scott's inhaler." Scott sighed, making Amelia look at him confused.
"Which he dropped when?"
"The other night," answered Stiles.
"The other night when you were looking for the first half of the body?" Asked the sheriff.
"Yes," replied Stiles.
"The night you told me you were alone and Scott was at home?"
Amelia clinched her teeth. That's why Scott sighed.
"Yes!" Agreed Stiles, maybe too quickly. "No. Oh... crap."
"So you lied to me?"
"That depends on how you define lying?"
Amelia was really curious to find out what was Stiles planning on doing.
"Well, I define it as not telling the truth. How do you define it?"
He scoffed before answering. "Reclining your body in a horizontal position?"
"Get the hell out of here..."
"Absolutely," he said without even letting his father finished, walking quickly towards the jeep where Amelia and Scott were.
The three got into the car. For some reason, Amelia was feeling dizzy during the ride, the smell of Scott was giving her a headache.
"Would you try a more powerful soap, Scott? You smell horribly," she critiqued but Scott ignored her.
"I can't find anything about wolfsbane being used for burial," said the werewolf.
"Just keep looking," insisted Stiles. "Maybe it's like a ritual or something. Do you know anything about it?" He asked the girl that was sitting in the backseat.
"We put it in bullets and arrows so we can kill wolves. That's all I have," answered the girl. "Do this windows open?"
"Would you stop complaining!?" Asked Scott.
"Would you stop smelling!?"
"Maybe they use it to bury you as a wolf," continued Stiles. "Or maybe it's like a special skill. You know, like something you want to learn."
Amelia didn't know about actual wolves. Her father never arrived to that part of the story.
"I'll put it on my to-do list," said Scott as he kept reading. "Right underneath 'Figuring out how the hell I'm playing this game tonight.'"
"Maybe it's different from girl werwolves..."
"Okay, stop if," exclaimed Scott.
"Stop what?" Asked Stiles.
"Stop saying 'werewolves.' Stop enjoying this so much!" Yelled Scott, alerting Amelia.
"Scott," she whispered.
"Are you okay!?" Stiles questioned as he drove.
"No! No, I'm not, I'm so far from being okay."
Amelia was noticing the sweat that was dripping through Scott's cheek, ignoring Stiles as he kept talking.
"You know, you're gonna have to accept this, Scott. Sooner or later."
"I can't...."
"You're gonna have to."
"No!" He yelled. "I can't breathe."
"Stiles..." the girl whispered before grabbing the bag of the guy, opening it and noticing it what she was fearing. "You kept it!?" She exclaimed as she saw the purple flower tied to the rope.
"What was I supposed to do with it!?"
Scott was out of control. Stiles was trying his best to keep control as the girl grabbed the bag and went to the front seat, sitting on Scott's lap before kicking the door open, jumping outside the moving car with the wolfsbane.
She heard the jeep stopping as she threw the bag to the woods. Seconds later, Stiles appeared next to her.
"Don't you ever do that again!" He yelled. "You just kicked my door open and jumped out of a moving car and you scared me half to death! What were you thinking!?"
"I was trying to prevent Scott from ripping off the Jeep and me from smelling every person in the entire town!" She yelled. "It's my job, Stiles."
"There's no 'jumping out of moving cars' in your job description. You could've died, Amelia!"
"I'm okay, I promise," she whispered before he pulled her into his chest and wrapped his arms around her. She slowly returned the hug, actually not knowing what to do. "Where's Scott?"
"What?" He asked confused before turning around, looking at the open door of the jeep in Scott's side. "Oh no... Scott!?"
They both got into the car quickly, Stiles beginning to drive again.
He was quick to call his dad, placing it on speaker.
"Stiles, you know you can't call the dispatch line when I'm on duty," was the first thing his dad said when he picked up.
"I just need to know if you've gotten any odd calls," said the guy as Amelia kept the phone next to his mouth so he can keep driving.
"Odd how?" Asked his dad.
"Uh... like an odd person or dog-like individual roaming the streets?" Amelia looked at him before rolling her eyes.
"I'm hanging up on you know."
"No! Wait, wait, wait!"
"Goodbye," said his dad before hanging up.
"How are we going to find him now?"
Before even letting her reply, he looked at her with a smile, hinting to her what was his plan.
"You want me to find him?" She asked before tossing his phone to the backseat. "What am I? Your search-dog?"
"You said you can find a werewolf even if he's miles away. You are his protector so... find him!"
The girl rolled her eyes. If that's what she had to do.

"He's in there," said the girl as they arrived to the boy's locker room. "He came to the game after all."
"I know you are against him playin but... maybe it's good for him."
"You remember when I said... if Scott kills somebody, I switch sides."
"I know... let's hope he doesn't," Stiles whispered before smiling. "I got used to having you around again."
The girl chuckled before leaving him, walking towards the field as he entered the locker room.
The approached the bleachers and sat down next to Allison and Lydia, noticing a man sitting next to the brunette.
"Oh! Amelia, this is my dad, Chris Argent."
They both connected looks before she offered her hand.
"I'm Amelia... Amelia Sealgair."
He appeared to have recognized the name as he was doubtful to shook her hand, but did it anyway.
"Pleasure to meet you. I've met your father."
"Really?" Asked Allison. "How?"
"He's in the business over here in Beacon Hills," was the only thing Chris Argent said. "I bet you are good with arrows yourself, Amelia, just like your dad."
She chuckled. "Better, actually."
Allison looked at her for a few seconds, curious. "You do archery too?"
So Allison was really oblivious.
"Yeah, I do," the girl replied.
Amelia noticed Scott's mom on the bleachers and decided to seat once sit down so that she can sit with her.
"Melissa!" Yelled the girl and the woman looked over, noticing her. "Come sit with me," insisted Amelia and the woman approached her. "Melissa, these is Lydia, Allison and Allison's dad."
"Oh, hi everyone. I'm Mellisa McCall."
"You are Scott's mom," pointed out Allison and the woman nodded.
"And you are Allison. Scott talks a lot about you."
Amelia raised her eyebrows before pointed the seat to Melissa, who sat down next to her. Amelia knew that having the two Argents behind her wasn't a good idea, but she also knew that if Melissa was next to her, they weren't much of a threat.
The girl noticed the Sheriff talking to Stiles before he approached the bleachers, Melissa raising her arm towards him so he can sit next to her. The sheriff greeted Melissa and Amelia with a smile before looking at the field.
They really had a full house tonight.
As the game started, Amelia was quick to notice that neither Jackson or the other guys would pass the ball to Scott, and that couldn't be good.
"Scott is a good player, right?" Asked Melissa to Amelia and she nodded. "Well, he made first line."
"Yeah, yeah... he is a good player," whispered the girl. "A great player..."
They saw as Jackson through Scott aside so that he can keep the ball to himself. That couldn't be good.
"If you excuse me, guys," whispered the girl before walking down the bleachers towards the bench where Stiles was biting his nails. "What is going on?"
"Jackson told the rest of the team to not give the ball to Scott," explained Stiles as he saw that she sat down next to him.
After Jackson scored a goal, the public went crazy and started cheering. Amelia turned around to look at Allison and Lydia who were holding up in the air a sign that said "We Luv U Jackson", which Scott definitely saw.
"Brutal," whispered Stiles, watching his best friend walk towards the center. "Oh, this is not going to be good."
"Do you think he'll kill someone?"
"I don't know if kill... but hurt?"
Amelia looked for something in her bag, being careful enough to get really close to Stiles so that Argent couldn't see it. The boy looked at her confused as she took what appeared to be the tip of an arrow.
"It has a tranquilizer. If Scott gets out of control, I can't shoot him with my crossbow and put him to sleep. It won't hurt him, and people might think he got taken down by a rival."
"That's good..."
"The problem is that Allison's dad is here..."
"That's bad."
"He recognized my last name, so he knows that I'm also hunting the other werewolf. If I shot Scott, he'll know that's him. And he'll kill him."
"That's really bad."
Both watched the game as the whistle sounded, nervous of what was going to happen.
They saw as Scott jumped over a rival's shoulder to catch the ball mid-air before running towards the goal, easily evading all the other team's defenses before scoring, making everyone go wild.
"Yes!" Exclaimed Stiles as him and Amelia stood up, both hugging each other due to the adrenaline of the moment.
They both quickly separated, looking at each other with red in their cheeks, smiling nervously.
"He scored," he whispered making her chuckle.
"Yeah, I saw," she replied, giving him a tiny smile as they both looked at the field again.
"To McCall!" Yelled Coach. "Pass to McCall! To McCall!"
They saw as they started again, one of the players of the opposite team passing the ball voluntarily to Scott, making the werewolf run again towards the goal.
"Did the opposite team just deliberately pass us the ball?" Asked Coach to Stiles and Amelia.
"Yes, I believe so, Coach," replied Stiles trembling a little bit as they watched Scott score another goal, this time the ball passing through the goalie's net.
"I should position myself uphill," whispered the girl to Stiles, but he stopped her, grabbing her hand.
"Don't shoot just yet..."
"Stiles, he's..."
"It's not worth the risk to reveal his identity... he hasn't hurt anybody, he's just... really good at lacrosse."
Amelia knew it wasn't the right choice to not be prepared to shoot, but she decided to listen to Stiles.
Everyone continued to cheer for Scott while the coach and Stiles argued with the referee if the goal counted or not.
"The ball's in the net! The ball's in the net!" They kept saying, while Amelia's eyes were focused on Scott's.
So were Chris Argent's.
The girl turned around and the both connected looks. Both hunters had a sense that this wasn't going to end well, the difference was that Amelia was sure of it.
The girl turned around and look at Scott. She noticed how he was trying to control his breath, but was failing at it.
"What's up?" Asked Stiles standing really closer to her.
"I don't like this, Stiles..."
"What do you mean? One more goal and we win!"
"Stiles..."
"It will be okay, Amelia." His voice was suiting. So much that she trusted him. "Everything will be okay..."
The game started again, Scott receiving the ball and running towards the goal, finding himself surrounded by three members of the opposite team.
"Oh, no, Scott..."
"Stiles," she said to him, but he didn't let go off her hand, preventing her from shooting him. "Please..."
"Just... wait..."
A few seconds passed before he moved the stick behind, gain impulse and shoot the ball towards the net, scoring again.
"Yes!" Exclaimed Stiles, letting go off Amelia's hand just to wrap his arms around her waist and lifting her up, surprising the girl who let out a shriek. "We did it! He did it! We won!"
"Stiles, put me down!" She exclaimed in the middle of laughter before he put her down, both laughing. "Let's go make sure he's okay."
But when they turned around, they just saw Allison following him. And that couldn't be good.
"He's gonna kill her..."
She was about to follow them when Stiles stopped her, grabbing her hand and pointing her towards his dad.
"Dad... what's wrong?"
โข โข โข
"We need to tell him beforeโ"
Stiles interrupted her as they walked inside the locker room, finding Allison and Scott making out in the showers. The boy quickly place a hand on the hunter's mouth as they both stood behind the lockers, sometimes glancing towards the couple.
They heard Allison giggle before she talked. "I gotta get back to my dad."
They both watched as she kissed him goodbye before leaving, noticing the two glancing at her. She simply chuckled.
"Stiles, Amy."
"Hey, yeah," said Stiles nervously as the girl left, both approaching Scott as soon as she stepped outside.
Scott's smile was bigger than any smile Amelia has seen on him, and that made her smile too.
"I kissed her," he said.
"We saw," replied Stiles.
"She kissed me," he said again with even bigger smile.
"We saw that too," said Stiles, making Amelia chuckle. "It's pretty good, huh?"
Scott sighed before beginning to stammer. "I-I don't know how, but I controlled it. I pulled back."
"That's good because Amelia was about to shoot you with a tranquilizer arrow over there," mentioned Stiles and Amelia mimicked the sound of the arrow flying. Scott simply smiled.
"Maybe I can do this. Maybe it's not that bad."
"Yeah... we'll talk later then."
Amelia grabbed Stiles's by the arm and prevented him from walking away. He had to tell him.
"What's going on?" Asked Scott.
"Yeah, uhm, the medical examiner looked at the other half of the body we found."
"And?"
"I'll keep it simple," intervened Amelia, looking at Scott. "Medical examiner determined killer of the girl to be animal, not human. Derek is human, not animal. Derek not killer. Derek let out of jail."
"Are you kidding!?" Exclaimed Scott and both shook their heads.
"Oh, and that's not everything," scoffed Stiles before continuing. "My dad ID'd the dead girl, both halves. Her name was Laura Hale."
"Hale!?" Asked Scott and he nodded.
"Derek's sister," said Stiles, making Scott exhale.
This was really bad.
