Chapter 30

The flight to Italy took about 10 hours. Planes were not your thing. Throughout the whole ride you felt like you were being watched.

You couldn't shake the feeling.

When you and Raven reached the hotel you laid on your beds.

"Raven, this is incredible. Thank you so much."

She smiled and shrugged. "It's alright plus I had no one else I wanted to take." she replied.

"Not even Erik?" you asked sitting up in your bed to look at her.

"Ana I already told you that was in the past. Besides he's totally in love with you." she sat up also. "Let's take a nap and then later we'll go grab some dinner."

You laid back on the bed and closed your eyes.

You laid in bed awake until Raven woke up in the bed beside you. You both sat up and stretched a bit.

"Did you have a good nap?" Raven asked a bit groggily.

"I...ummm.sure." you babbled.

"You alright? "

"I actually didn't sleep. I was tired but when I laid down all I could do was think of Erik."

"You were supposed to forget about him. At least for a little." she whinned.

"I'm really trying Raven. He was in my room last night. I woke up feeling there was someone there but I thought it was a dream. When I woke up I found a note he left me. I cant help thinking I shouldn't have said no."

"No offense Ana but no you shouldn't have. That wasn't the best choice you've made. But Erik is thousands and thousands of miles away and thinking about it wont take back what happened. Fix it when you get back. Now we," she paused standing up and grabbing your hand "are going out!"

"Table for two please." Raven said to the host as the front of the restaurant. It wasn't too fancy but it was very classy. Lucky for you Raven convinced you to wear a dress and heels.

After a few minutes of chatting a waiter came by to take your orders.

You couldn't help but notice how shamelessly he was throwing himself at Raven.

After he left you burst out in laughter. Raven looked at you with an eyebrow raised in confusion.

"Oh come on, it was funny." you said gaining your composure.

"What was?"

"Seriously?  The waiter was totally flirting with you. Quite indiscreetly I might add. "

"Didn't notice. " she stated sighing heavily.

You gasped "Who is he?"

"Who?"

"You have a huge crush on somebody Raven, who is it?"

She blushed deeply. "No one."

"I know him considering the fact that you wont tell me."

"It's no one Ana." she said feigning calmness.

You pouted "I told you all my problems. It's only fair you tell me yours."

"Fine."she grumbled. "It's Hank."

You gasped "Awwwwww, how cute! How long have you felt that way?" you gushed.

"Uhh a few years?" she stated embarrassingly.

"Years?! Why haven't you told him anything? "

"I was going to but it seems like he has a crush on you."

"Oh Raven, Im so sorry. Me and Hank have already talked about this. I dont like him that way. Besides he did tell me he had a bit of a crush on you."

Her eyes widened. "Really? He said that? " you nodded. "Well maybe I could talk to him when we get back."

You grinned widely "Good!"

After dinner you and Raven took a walk around town and talked about your plans for the rest of the trip.

"I have a surprise for you tomorrow. But first we have to buy you a new outfit." she said and pulled you into the nearest shop.

There were pretty dresses and other clothes for you to marvel at.

Raven picked up a navy blue dress with a white and pink flower print on it and handed it to you.

"Go try it on!" she demanded and you marched off to the dressing room.

Once the dress was on turned to look in the mirror.

You were stunned. The dress showed off every curve in your body and molded to your shape. The sleeves stopped right above the elbow and the hem stopped right below the knee. It was like the dress was made for you. You stepped out of the dressing room to find Raven.

"Oh. My. God. Ana." you heard her say from behind you.

You turned to face her "You like it?"

"Yes!! You look amazing. Erik will love it!"

"Erik?" you questioned.

"Oh. Um yeah. You said you wanted to fix everything when you get back. Thats a perfect dress for it." she said gazing at the floor.

"Oh I guess. Im gonna get it! Thanks Raven." you turned back into the dressing room to change back into your clothes before heading home.

"Good night Ana. Big day ahead of us. Try to get some sleep this time okay?" Raven said shutting off the lights.
