the day finally came to go to seonghwa's dorm, but all y/n could feel was nerves. she tried on hundreds of outfits, but there was something wrong with each one. her internal dialogue was going crazy. this one's too revealing. you're not going to a club!now you look like a prude. it's not church, you ninny. you look like a square. an actual square. they'll make fun of you!they'll hate you!they'll hate you!insecurities were disrupted by a text from seonghwa that read: "so excited to see you today! i apologize in advance for any crazy behavior"instantly, a comforting feeling filled y/n, chasing away her fears. she finally came across a good outfit and was on her way.

upon her arrival, y/n was warmly greeted by all of the ateez members, who showed their excitement by shouting. they brought her inside and sat her down for a meal. they bombarded her with questions, but were always respectful and kind."you know, y/n, we're all so glad to meet you," hongjoong said. "yeah," concurred wooyoung. "seonghwa has told us so much about you!"seonghwa's face became red and he smacked wooyoung on the arm. "he's embarrassed because he likes you," yeosang chimed. "ANYWAYS let's just eat, okay?" said seonghwa hurriedly. they all settled down and began the meal. y/n was pleasantly surprised at how at home she felt with the other members. she felt them studying her, but not in an intrusive manner. there was nothing but positive energy that they gave. afterwards, yunho pulled y/n aside. "what is it?" she asked. in a hushed tone, he said, "please take good care of him. we love him a lot and we don't want him to get hurt.""oh! of course! i dont want to hurt him at all.""the thing is, y/n," he lowered his voice even more, "and you have to promise not to tell him i said this.""i won't""he really likes you. he talks about you all the time. and he's had his struggles in the past, but we can all see how happy he is with you."y/n was startled. she had hoped that seonghwa liked her as much as she liked him, but hearing this solidified her wishes. yunho saw her face become red, and laughed to ease any tension. he thanked her for listening to him and they went back to join the rest. "what where you guys talking about?" questioned a nervous seonghwa. "he told me all of your embarrassing secrets," goaded y/n. everyone laughed, and seonghwa blushed again.
