Chapter Twenty One

( In the meeting area.....)

" So.... Now that we are in a private area, can anyone tell me what's going on? I mean with Malice and all the other things I don't get." Jane said.

" Malice is my twin sister. I ended up forgetting about her weirdly but, she is my sister." Mal replied.

" If Malice is your sister, how come she has magic immunity?" Ben asked.

" Yeah, Mal." Jay, Carlos, and Evie nodded.

" I don't know, maybe she got it from our dad which whom we don't even know." Mal answered.

" What do you mean?" Ben and Jane asked.

" Well, from what I know of from my mom, our dad is human." Mal replied.

" Human?" Jane asked.

" Like my mom, Jane." Ben said.

" So...... What's going to happen now?" Carlos asked.

" I'm not so sure..." Mal replied.

There was complete silence until Ben broke it with an idea.

" Guys, what if Malice isn't all that bad?" Ben asked.

" Huh?" The villain kids along with Jane asked with confusion.

" I mean, if Mal is not really bad, then maybe Malice is not bad too." Ben offered.

" Are you sure? Because from what I remember she has done pretty bad stuff." Carlos said.

" Yeah, I'm starting to remember that too." says Jay.

" What about you Evie?" Carlos asked.

" Ah, I'm sorry.. I don't remember much." Evie apologized.

" And you Mal?" asked Carlos.

" Well, a little bit." Mal replied softly.

" A little bit?" asked Carlos.

" It's kinda hard to explain..." Mal said.

" No worries, Mal. You seem to be puzzled about your relationship with your sister." says Ben.

" Yeah..." Mal mumbled softly.

(silent)

Then there was a knock on the door.

" Who is it?" Ben asked.

" Doug!" 

" Chad!"

" And Audrey!" 

( opens the door)

" What do you guys want?" Ben asked.

" We can't help but want to talk to you about that Red haired Girl." Audrey said angrily.

" Yeah!" nodded Chad.

" Chad, do you have to agree a lot on many things?" Ben asked.

" No... I just...Well... It's hard to explain!" Chad replied with no confidence.

" Okay...." Ben mumbled.

" Anyways, we're here to tell you how horrible Mal's look alike is!" Audrey yelled.

" Audrey...." Doug said softly.

" No! They must hear what I have to say." Audrey angrily replied.

As Mal heard that, she started to become angry. Angry at Audrey for just judging on her sister even if she never have known her. This made Mal stand up from her seat and go face to face with Audrey.

" Enough!" Mal screamed.

Everyone froze after Mal screamed.

" I had it! What's with all the judging? You don't even know who my sister is. How dare you judge her that way." Mal yelled.

" Oh, so she's your sister? I'm sorry I thought she was just a robot look alike who shouldn't be here!" Audrey shrieked.

" Audrey!" Ben shouted.

" No! She has to hear what I have to say." Audrey argued.

" That's enough!" Jane shouted.

" No need to argue. It won't matter if Mal's sister has done bad things." Jane added.

" Everything was taken away from me." said Audrey while kneeling down slowly to the floor in tears.

" You mean Jay?" Ben asked.

" Yeah..." sniffled Audrey.

" And we were tied up." Chad added.

Doug's POV

" Oh brother......"

" Sorry about the drama, Ben. I'll just grab Audrey out along with Chad." Doug apologized.

" It's alright." Ben said.

" No!" Let go of me Doug." screamed Audrey while struggling in Doug's grasp.

" Audrey, you're causing a scene along with Chad. It's embarassing." Doug said.

While Doug drags Audrey out, Chad faces Ben. He was about to say something until Ben cuts him off.

" Chad, don't even think about it." Ben warned.

Chad was about to continue until he finally gave in and left the area.

" Whew... Sorry, about that guys." Ben apologized.

The four villain kids gave a smile but it was a small smile.

( meanwhile, in Maleficent's tower.....)

" Darn this immunity ability, I can't even get into Malice's mind." Maleficent complained.

" Even if she's unconscious?" Evil Queen asked.

" Yes!" Maleficent whined with agreement.

" It's hopeless..." Maleficent said as she slump herself to a nearby chair.

But, as she slumped herself to a chair, the chair falls backwards, causing her to fall too.

"Waaaah!!!" screamed Maleficent.

( Crash!)

" You okay?" Evil Queen asked.

( Agh...)

" I guess you're not." says Evil Queen.

" Help me up." Maleficent says while reaching out.

" Okay." Evil Queen replied.

Though, as Evil Queen tried to help Maleficent get up, both ended up falling down on the floor.

" Waaah!" Evil Queen screamed.

( Crash!)

" You really need to exercise, Maleficent." Evil Queen crticized.

" Shut up!" yelled Maleficent.

" And you need to keep your voice down or you end up losing it." added Evil Queen.

( Grrr......)

While the two women seemingly continues to argue, Malice starts to dream in her unconscious state.

" Ugh, where am I?" Malice asked.

" It's so beautiful." added Malice.

Suddenly, the colorful dream world starts to collapse into darkness.

" Huh? Not again!" Malice screamed while trying to run away.

As she kept running distance to distance, the darkness kept following her. But, it stopped after Malice reached from what it seems as a dead end.

" Gah! There's no where to go. I'm in trouble." Malice said with a worry.

Although, even if the darkness has an advantage, it didn't attack.

" Huh? Why is it not attacking?" Malice asked.

As Malice inspects the darkness, she witnesses it's face. It looked frightened.

" It's scared?" Malice asked.

Then all of a sudden, a flash of light appears in the scene. It blinded both Malice and the darkness.

" Hey! What's going on?!" asked Malice while covering her eyes with her right arm.

After the light flashed, the darkness was gone. Though, Malice is now in a beautiful place.

" Where am I?" asked Malice.

" Is that... Auradon?" added Malice.

While Malice continues to look at the view, she ends up seeing her sister Mal along with her friends.

" Mal?" asked Malice.

The picture shows Mal hanging out with a boy who seems to be a member of Auradon. Both of them were happy especially with their friends.

" What's this? Happiness?" questioned Malice with confusion.

As Malice took time to think, she found out the answer.

" Love." Malice whispered.

Malice never thought she would end up with that answer and she never has felt that before nor to anyone.

" I don't understand. Why is it so dazzling?" asked Malice.

With questions roaming around her head, Malice is starting to get confused until a flashback occured.

" Malice, why are you crying?" asked a three year old Mal.

" Mother has no respect for anyone. Even me." sobbed the three year old Malice.

" It's okay." Mal whispered.

" What do you mean?" Malice asked.

" I've had the same experience as you. I too wanted affection from mother but... I guess we won't get it even if we'd wished it." Mal replied.

( ....)

" Hey, why don't you play with me, Carlos, and Jay?" Mal asked.

" Really?" sniffled Malice.

" Sure." Mal replied.

" If we can't get mom's affection, mind as well get affection from each other." Mal said.

For the first time at a young age, Malice smiled. A smile so lovely that only an ignorant person or creature can pierce through when alone. But, with more than one, it's hard to destroy it.

( End of flashback)

" I have experienced love." Malice said out loud.

" That time when Mal let me play and hang out with her and her friends, it was magical." added Malice.

" She was the one and only who showed love to me even if at times we had to act evil around our mom and the rest of the villains." said Malice.

As Malice smiled at the thought, she was then distracted by a frustrated voice.

" Darn it, nothing is really working!" Maleficent shrieked.

While Maleficent is in her frustrated moments, Evil Queen witnesses Malice's awakening.

" Maleficent, look. she's waking up." pointed Evil Queen.

" Not now, Queen." Maleficent mumbled.

" Where am I?" Malice asked.

This jolted Maleficent after her second daughter said one sentence.

" You!" Maleficent shouted.

" Huh?" Malice asked.

" You froze in the field like a statue! Now my question is what is going through your head?" asked an angry Maleficent.

" Nothing!" lied Malice.

Sadly, it did not satisfy Maleficent.

" Young missy, you are coming with me." gripped Maleficent.

" No!" struggled Malice.

Unfortunately, Maleficent dragged her without giving her any tint of kindness or mercy. Since Maleficent has private family matters, Evil Queen leaves the area without a word.

Malice's screams can be heard, but nobody dared to ask what's going on nor are they curious of why a girl's scream can be heard.

Malice was indeed in deep trouble.
