4. Engagement Main Rishte Ki Baat

Gill family reached Dev's house in Hyderabad.

Dev - yaar, tu kabhi kisi ko surprise nahi de sakta, puch kyu.

Dev - kyuki tere aane se pehle tere aane ki news pahuch jaati hai

"SHUBMAN GILL spotted at the airport" Dev said dramatically while everyone chuckled, Shubman just rolled his eyes.

After sometime, in Dev's room.Dev - ek baat bata, tu engagement HYD main hai ye baat sunkar itna excite kyu ho gya tha? Pehli baar to nahi aaraha hai HYD.

Shubman - excite? kaha hua tha excite, vo.. ahh... bahot dino ke baad aaya na kisi function ke liye isiliye. baa..aaa baaki kuch nahi (nervously)

Dev - Itna nervous kyu ho raha hai... Bhabhi hai kya yaha (teasingly)

Shubman - chup kar ja.. khud to itni jaldi shaadi kar raha hai aur mujhe bhi fasa raha hai.

Dev - do saal bada hu mai tumse aur kyu na karu shaadi, ladki achi hai mujhe pasad bhi hai.... aur tu kis haq se bol raha hai khud to single mar raha hai.

"Kal engagement hai soja chup chaap" he said, changing the topic again.

Dev walked out of his room, to the room next door "aunty Shubman na aaphi ke bharose hai khud kabhi nahi dhundi jayegi ladki usse, baat chedo to baat hi badal deta hai" Keart hummed in response. "agar mujhe yaha koi ladki pasand aayi na to maine to rishta pakka kara dena hai, mera beta kahi bhi jata hai saari ladkiyaan nazar lagati rehti hai, agar committed hoga to dur rahengi, par nahi isse har baar baat ghumani hoti hai"

"Agar aapko help chahiye to mai hu aunty" Dev said with a salute and chuckled.

"Nuvvu car, start cheyyi nenu vachesta" ( you start the car I will be right there) replied her mom.

"Engagement ayipoyaka velte baagodhu Sindhu, tondaraga ra" (it will not look nice if we'll reach after the engagement Sindhu, be quick) stated Suraj, Navya's dad.

Navya's mom came out of the room. "Aree inko ikkade unnara, eppudu mi valle late, padhandi" ( why are you guys still standing here, we are always late because of you guys, let's go) she said walking towards the car. Navya, Suraj and Sindhu just exchanged looks.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------At the ceremony, everyone was busy talking and giggling. The place was not much crowded as only very close people were invited. But suddenly a group of girls started screaming and gasping, everyone looked in the direction to find Shubman Gill.

Everyone clicked pictures with him, Nidhi herself was fangirling. Pallavi slowly cleared the crowed around him and apologized.

"Are nahi nahi aunty aap kyu sorry bol rahi hai" Shubman said politely.

"Navya kaha hai, Navya kaha hai" asked Nidhi in an over excited tone, Krish just shrugged his shoulders "abhi to yahi thi" he added.

Some of the aunties were trying to find a bride for their son. In a similar situation, Navya and her parents were approached by a couple who started to praise their son, they looked least bothered if Navya was interested or not.

On the other hand, a young boy was running with a glass full of juice in his hand, he accidentally collided with Shahneel (the end of her duppatta was stained), Keart and Shahneel went to a room to clean the stain.

Navya's parents softly rejected the proposal while Navya stormed away. Nidhi noticed this and followed her.
