Part 3

23:28, 18 April 2023

The tall blonde returned back to George's room with a pale face. He looked as if he were about to cry. A long and gut wrenching science lingered between the two. There was a thick tension in the air, the type of tension that makes you feel like if you were to say anything the other person would snap.

George didn't want to say anything the silence was enough for George to infer that he'd better not ask. He didn't like this, Dream seemed like he'd seen a ghost. George's heart began to throb overwhelming thoughts crowded his mind. He thought he'd done something wrong or maybe he had upset Dream. Whatever it was the brunette didn't ask questions.

Dream was in utter shock. He didn't know what to say to George. He just stood there. He felt guilty, he was worried George would get the wrong idea and think he had done something wrong. Of course he hadn't, Dream adored George he cared about him a lot and George hadn't done anything wrong. Of course for dream it wasn't easy to admit it but he felt a certain way about George a feeling he had never felt before. It was isolating though, Dream didn't know how to describe it and didn't know if George felt the same way. But, what is this feeling? If Dream know surely how he felt why couldn't he put his finger on what he felt. It was like George had a glow to him, like nobody else, he had the perfect facial structure as if sculpted by and angel, his eyes lit up whenever he talked about things he enjoyed.

Their was a break of silence "George, I'm so sorry but something just happened." Dream managed to blurt out.

George gave him a reassuring smile "Dream I understand, please let me know once you've resolved whatever has happened!"

Dream gave George a smile in hope that he wouldn't worry about him too much. George smiled back in return gesturing for him to leave if he wanted to.

Dream headed out the door and made his way towards the hospital. His panic grew worse the closer he got. His anxiety gnawed away at him. His mother was getting worse by the day. The only reason he was here was to help his mum out with shopping and eating. But he was to busy messing around with George. He felt like he had to look after his mother but at the same time his mother wanted to se him happy before she died. At least now she's in the hospital and being looked after, however Dream had been so irresponsible he felt guilty as if it was his fault she had chronic fatigue. His fault. Was it.. his fault.

As a young child Dream admittedly was a handful, his mum never got a rest. He was troublesome and got into many fights at school. He was a bad kid weather he wanted to admit it or not. Given the fact he was a bad kid he still had a heart of gold. He enjoyed drawing Minecraft mobs in class instead of doing his work. He loved letting his imagination run away with him. He was always very considerate, he never spoke back to his mum despite his active behaviour.

Dream soon arrived.

"MUM!" Dream was close to tears "are you ok?!"

His mum looked at him and giggled. "Clay sweetheart I'm fine, please, go and spend time with that friend of yours. Or is he your boyfriend?" She giggled more

Dream paused. She knew about George? How? Dream was so taken-a-back he didn't even realise his mum say he was his boyfriend. "Wait- boyfriend?!" Dream stuttered. "No mum he's not- how did you know I was friends with him?!"

She let out a scoff "Clay dear, I've lived here for years I know the woman that owns the coffee shop"

"Ok but he's not my boyfriend!" Dream explained

She scoffed again "time will tell." She tapped her watch. She sat up in the hospital bed. "Dear, I've seen you with that boy. Every time you talk to him your eyes light up as if you were in love"

Dream was in shock, was his mum right? That would explain it. The butterflies he felt around him, the way his cheeks felt sore after hanging out with him from all the smiling, the way he wanted to kiss George. He wanted to kiss George. He wanted George. Just George. George. Dreams heart throbbed but in a good way, the wave of realisation hit him as if it were slapping him round the face. He felt adrenaline. He felt a rush it was nothing he had ever felt before, he was undeniably, completely, utterly in love. With George. But, Dream wasn't gay he knew he wasn't. It was overwhelming. Dream was still captivated in his thoughts. But the silence was broken by his mother.

"Clay dear, are you ok?" She asked hesitantly.

"George. I left him alone" Dream finally answered.

"Go to him!" She softly smiled gesturing to the door. "I'm fine son please, go see him, I won't be going anywhere anyway."

Dream hugged his mum and dashed off. The air was bitter, snow was falling quickly as if it were to be a storm. Dream powered though the thick sea of falling snow. How could he have been so stupid, he didn't notice how he felt. Now was his chance to confess to George. His one and only. Dream continued on as a million thoughts faced his mind George being number one. George was his everything. He made him feel fulfilled and happy. Dream felt as if there was a spark that had lit up inside him. He was still rushing to reach the Brunettes house in time. The wind was against him but that didn't stop him, nothing would. His feelings for George were strong. Stronger then anything he ever knew. If only Dream could know if he felt the same.

Dream soon arrived at the doorstep. He knocked and knocked. Eventually, he was greeted by a drunk George who collapsed into Dreams strong arms.

"George!" Dream yelled.

George's words were slurred and Dream could barely make out what he was saying. "I- dream- alcohol-" he was so drunk he couldn't form a sentence. He looked up at Dream and they shared a gaze. Dream had a worried expression. George was unable to read his emotions.

"Dream- I..." George paused. George pulled Dream closer and stared at his quivering lips. George eventually put his hand on the back of Dreams neck and kissed him. The blonde was in shock but kissed him back anyway. Dream felt good, but this kiss only lasted a second before they pulled away again. Dream picked George up and carried him safely to his bed making sure to tuck him in. He planted a kiss on the brunettes forehead and sat on the bed.
