It's afternoon. Both of you are sitting on the bed. You're sitting on his lap with your laptop as he's kissing your neck having his eyes on the screen. Both of you are searching for some cool dance moves. Not like you both are professional dancers, you need a reference.

"Stop it Koo... Look here." You tilt your neck giving him even more access to kiss. Your mouth is speaking something and your body is doing something else. His kisses are the best. Not your fault you can't resist.

"Yeah, I'm looking." He replies with a slight smirk on his face. "I sent the video to all of them. I hope they've practiced enough. We're having a rehearsal on Wednesday." You tell him about the information he already knows. He hums in response.

"Well, there's still only one winner." He's frowning at that unnecessary sentence. You didn't have to say that and ruin his mood like that. You turn your head to the side to look at his face. "What?" You ask when he's staring at you weirdly. "You're unbelievable." You scoff keeping away your laptop. "You don't expect me to lose to you, right? Because I'm never losing against you Jungkook."

You turn around facing him with your crossed arms and a cocky smirk on your face. He pokes his inner cheeks looking away. "Why out of all people you wanna compete with me?" You nod your head rubbing your chin thinking about it.

"Don't wanna say, but you're the best and I want to be better than best." He's not at all surprised by your statement. He knew that. He is the best and he's always gonna be the best.

"Good luck then. I'll also see how you become better than me. Well, I always thought you can never be compared to me because we both are the best in our ways but now when you're comparing yourself with me, things might not be the same." He stares at you while you're staring back at him. The atmosphere is not the same as before.

Now it's like you both are having an eye war. Or maybe we call it the word war. Yeah, if that exists.

"Jeon Jungkook. I'm gonna prove to everyone what I can do." Okay, he thought you wanted to be the best for yourself. He didn't know you were doing that to prove yourself to others. He's not liking that statement somewhere.

He furrows his brow tilting his head. "Y/n, are you sure you want to do this?" He wanted to speak in a way that doesn't sound rude or challenging, but it did to you. You scoff getting off the bed. "You all are the same. But it's okay, it's only making me stronger and making me believe myself more." He's now even more confused. Now that is not what he was trying to say.

You all? Who all are you talking about?

He wants to ask that but he doesn't. "Okay okay fine. Sit, I'll bring something for you to drink. Breath okay?" You roll your eyes as he walks out of the room.

You sit on your bed staring back at the ceiling.

What am I doing?

Moments later he's back with strawberry juice in his hands. He gives one to you and sits beside you.

He has his phone in his hands as he's reading some texts he might have received. He replies to that one text and keeps his phone aside.

Both of you are silent. Neither does he speaks nor you. When he's done with his juice he keeps the glass aside standing up. "I'll get going now y/n." You blink your eyes processing his sentence that is too easy to understand. You keep your glass and stand up.

"Already? I mean... I thought you were gonna stay till evening. I mean, for dance... You know." You don't even know why you're saying that. Earlier, you would want him to just go away from your sight, but not now. You want him to stay a little longer.

Maybe.

"I have important work to do." He says giving you a slight smile that didn't reach his eyes. "Is it really important?" You ask fiddling your fingers.

He looks away clearing his throat. "Yeah... It's important. Let's meet tomorrow or maybe on Monday. I think I'll be busy and about dance... It's almost completed so..." You slowly nod your head.

"Alright. Go." You wave your hand at him as he walks out of the room. He thought you'd be following him but you're not, so he picks up his jacket and walks out of the house shutting the door.

"Was something wrong? Something did seem off." He says to himself as he walks away.

Scoffing at yourself you plop on the bed.

"Right! What was I even expecting."

~~~~~~~~
You're eating your popcorn watching the new animation movie. Life is good only because of animations.
It's Sunday today and Jungkook texted you that he can't come. You didn't reply to him. Read his message from the notification bar and ignored it. Yes, this is you. Don't know why these past months you were behaving differently with him.
You don't give a fuck about him and his matters.
So yeah, now you're enjoying alone watching the animation movie. Fine, to be honest, you're not having fun at all. It seems kinda incomplete. You're bored. Doesn't matter how much you deny but you did feel happy when he was around.
But no, you can't miss him. You can miss everyone but him.
He's an enemy, Yups!
You pick up your phone and dial your bestie's number. "Jennie, let's hang out today." And to your bad luck, you receive a reply that you didn't want to hear. "I'm sorry y/n, but I'm in Daegu at my granny's house." Okay.
"Oh, it's alright then. Enjoy. Bye." You hang up the call holding your hair in frustration. But then you are reminded of your other bestie.
"Jin... Gonna treat you today. C'mon, let's have fun." You say all excited because you know he's never turning that offer down. "Oh, I'm so sorry Y/n but today I'm with the boys. I can't come."
And you're holding your hair again. "Alright. Enjoy then, bye." You hang up the call sighing to yourself.
"Looks like I'm the lonely one today." Making a pout you start scrolling through your phone but then it again strikes you.
You dial the last number you can think of. After one ring the person picks up the call.
"Hey, y/n. What's up?" You're smiling wide alone like an idiot. "Hey, Taehyung. Are you busy today?" You ask with some hope in your voice and your finger crossed.
"Nopes. I have all the time. Wanna come over?" Wow, he is inviting you. That's what you were wishing for.
"Really? Is it fine if I come?" And you're just so happy with his next sentence. Maybe, life is really good.
"Of course. I was already getting bored. We will have lots of fun. Come over."
