I walk down to the lobby, phone in hand as I text Ozzie.

𝙊𝙯𝙯𝙞𝙚: 𝙨𝙤𝙤𝙤𝙤, 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚? 𝙁𝙞𝙯𝙯 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙄 𝙬𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙘𝙝 𝙞𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨.

I shove my phone in my pocket.Heading down to Als office like normal.

As I step in I freeze, Al sitting at his desk doing paperwork, glowing ropes wrapped around both Adam and Lute as they're hung on the wall.

"..what the fuck did I miss.."

"They threatened Niffty."

"Oh." I look up at Adam. "Why does he have a gag in his mouth-?"

"He wouldn't shut up."

"Oh.."

"Do you need anything?"

"..Sera will be here soon.."

He looks up at me.

I pick at my nails, looking down."I don't want to do this alone."

"Oh-?"

He gets up, my gaze landing back on him as he walks closer.

"Let's go then, yeah?"

"You're leaving them here..?"

"They aren't going anywhere." He leans down, kissing my cheek.

"Okay.."

I rest my legs in Als lap, my back against the arm of the sofa.

The portal should appear any minute now.

Sera, adams new replacement and gabriel.

I am so nervous..

"Love."

I look up, Al taking my hands.Not even realizing I had been picking at my nails again.

"Talk to me."

I open my mouth to speak.

But the portal opens, Sera stepping in with Gabriel on one side of her and a short blonde angel with pale skin and bright blue eyes.She's stood tall despite her height, serious and confident.

"Hello, Lucifer." Sera bows her head, "good evening to you and uhm,"

"Alastor, Alastor Hartfelt. It's a pleasure to meet you, quite a pleasure." He stands, heading toward her with confidence.

I get up and follow behind him, standing beside him as he offers his hand to her.

She shakes his hand, "charming. And who are you exactly?"

"Uh- this is my husband, and the hotelier here."I step forward, "is this the new lieutenant?"

The girl smiles, "Lailah, pleasure it is to finally put a face to your legacy."

"Wait a moment- Lailah-??"

The clicking of stilettos gets closer, Lilith walking into the room.

The room practically freezing.

"I uhm-..apologize..didnt mean to intrude.." lilith says.

"You haven't, uhm..could you give Lailah a tour while we discuss population?"

"Oh..erm..yeah, of course."

Lailah follows her out.

Unexpected, but, okay.

"How about we take this to the kitchen." Al asks.

Sera nods as we head toward the kitchen.

Gabriel not speaking. Conflict in his eyes.

I stop, pulling him back while Al talks to Sera about the hotel rates and such.

He looks back at me, his eyes holding feelings I knew all to well.

I pull him into a hug.

We haven't talked since he trued convincing me not to give eve the apple.He didn't know exactly what I was planning.He just could tell I was planning and it wasn't going well.

"I'm so sorry."

He sniffles, his arms wrapping around me in a tight hug."I told you not to do it, you idiot!"

"I know."

He punches me, "why must you always be so difficult!"

I just hold him.

"I missed you..so much.." he cries, sniffling before he punches me again. "Idiot!"

"I missed you too. Gabe."

He looks at me, his hand going to my cheek."Your hair..a-nd your eyes- what did they do to you.."

I give him a little smile. "Nothing I couldn't handle."

I blink, my eyes turning back to blue.

Al steps back in, freezing.

"I uh- Sera is waiting.."

Gabriel wipes his face, heading into the room.

"Stop staring."

Al swallows. "I can't help it.."

I walk closer to him, pulling his collar down and giving him a little kiss.

"I love you, dork."

"I love you too."

I blink, my eyes turning back as I let go of him.
