I sit up, looking at the door.

Did he seriously just fucking bite me?!

My face heats.

I get up and walk to the bathroom where I normally start my days, looking in the mirror at the bite mark and bits golden blood around it.

He seriously did.

I brush my hair, not bothering to put get in it before getting dressed and walking out the door.

I walk to the kitchen, everyone carrying on as normal.

Al stood against the counter, stirring coffee in my mug.

"Good morning, dear. Lovely of you to join us."

I stand beside him and he hands me my coffee mug, kissing my head.

"Morning, dad!" Charlie cuts in, sitting on the island stool.

"Morning.."

Lilith sits beside her, drinking her tea.

"Oh uhm. I made a call yesterday to Sera."

"You did? I thought you were having a no phone work day-?" Charlie asks.

"Wha-"

"Yeah, he just..had a few minutes break." Al cuts in.

Oh. They're covering for me. Got it.

"Yeah uhm. I called Sera. And uhm. Lute has been banished from the gates, and Adams soul was recognized in hells realm. Which means he isn't fully dead yet."

Silence.

"And Seras coming with a guest to rediscuss population control and gabriel will be joining in place of the lord."

"Shit.."

"And on lighter but probably more awkward news. WHICH ONE OF YOU MOTHERFUCKERS TOLD HIM TO FUCKING BITE ME."

Anthony gasps, "no way! Haha!"

"You-..bit him?!" Husk questions.

"We wanted him to join us for breakfast. I got him here." Al pours his own coffee.

Anthony is laughing, Charlie questioning probably everything.

"You know, just a few months ago you two hated eachother." Vaggie says. "What the fuck happened."

"He saved my daughters life."

"He saved mine."

"I kissed him."

"You did not- I made the first move!"

"Nu uh!"

"Yeah I did! I almost kissed you and then Mimzy interrupted us, and then after I got rid of her I followed you upstairs!"

"Yeah and then I kissed you."

"No you were all 'I dEvOtEd EvErYtHiNg tO cReAtIvItY' and 'I gAvE eVeRyThInG I hAd FoR hEr' and I told you I didn't want what you had, I wanted you. And THAT is when I kissed YOU."

I cross my arms. "Prove it."

"Okay, you guys- regardless. You're happy now. So don't start arguing again." Charlie cuts in.

"I'm just saying."

Al sips his coffee, "saying wrongly."

"Nu uh."

He side eyes me. "Do I need to bite some sense into you again?"

"You bite me in front of my kid I swear to the god himself that I will launch you all the way to lust where you clearly belong."

"Go ahead, duck king."

"I will. Evil bambi!"

"Then do it!"

"Guys-" charlie stands.

"I will!"

"I'd love to see it!"

"Won't have to, you'll have the whole experience!"

"Okay.." charlie sits back down.

"I hate you." Al crosses his arms.

"I hate you more."

He cups my cheek, kissing the opposite one."Dork."

"Yeah yeah."
