I climb into bed, Lucis little body facing the window.

As I pull him closer into my arms he turns over, looking up at me.

"Uh- hi."

"Do you know what time it is?"

I figured he would be upset about that.

"I apologize, something came up."

"Like what?"

"Just..something with Mimzy.."

He's probably going to be upset about that as well.He hates Mimzy.

"Do you understand that it's worrying when I can't just text you and have no idea where you've gone?"

Indefinitely.But I can't just change who I am.As much as I want to for him.

"I'm sorry. I'll send someone next time." I kiss his forehead. "How was your time with Fizz?"

"Lilith was there."

"She just wanted to talk to me, turns out she's only doing this because she's got a girlfriend in heaven and if she doesn't sabotage Charlie, Lute won't let her go back up."

"..what an amusing turn of events.."

"It's exhausting. I dont know how you manage to be in everyones business all the time."

"I've got people everywhere, plus Rosie is a gossip."

His arms wrap around my chest as his head rests on my shoulder. "I love you."

"I love you too."

I want to tell him to get off of me, that I've burnt myself out. But I can't. He's everything, it hurts him when I decline his touch. I can see it in his eyes.

"Boss!!" I hear Niffty whine outside the door.

I sigh, and he lets go, but there goes that look.

As I walk out of the suite, kneeling down to atleast a closer height to this tiny girl.

"What's the matter, Niffty?"

"I don't wanna be alone..!" She whines, hugging me.

"Niffty.."

I look back, Luci facing the window again.

I reach up and close the door, picking her up and walking with her.

"You cannot sleep with us every night."

"But.." tears brim in her eye.

"No, dear. I understand that you are not feeling okay, but you wouldn't like it if someone was climbing into your bed whilst you were in bed with your boyfriend, correct?"

"..no.."

"You've gotta learn how to manage your emotions better. I will always be here for you, but at a slight distance."

"Why can't lulu be at a distance..?"

"Because..that's hurting him. And he's not supposed to be hurt by me. That would make me just like john.."

"You aren't john.." she whines.

"Exactly." I open the door to her makeshift closet room, setting her down. "You're perfectly safe, dear."

"I don't feel safe.."

I sigh, "you know what helped me, when I felt this way?"

"Huh..?"

"I listened to music. Try that."

She frowns. "Okay sir."

I get up, "goodnight."

"G'night.."

I close her door, walking back up the stairs to my suite.

Once I open the door Luci is still in his spot, facing the window.I step toward the bed, climbing in and pulling him closer, his body resting against mine.

He turns, nuzzling into my neck.

His arms wrap around my torso, a deep sigh hitting my neck.

I wrap my own arms around him, resting my head on his.

I can't explain how much i love him.

I barely know my feelings for myself.

I left Luci in bed, he doesn't normally get up before eight. And even then he fights me.He isnt at all a morning person.

"Alastor." Vaggie steps into the kitchen. "Charlie and I are leaving, where is Lucifer?"

"He's still in bed."

She sighs. "Okay. Try not to burn the place down."

"The hotel'd be safer in my care than his, I promise."

"Do you really want to speak that way about the guy you married out of pure stubbornness."

"I've gotten to know that man way better than you have and more than charlie has garunteed. He's barely able to take care of himself. Which isn't really his fault. He needs this extra rest."

"You're making zero sense, he's the devil."

Lilith steps into, "he was an angel first. And everyone has emotions."

First thing she's said I actually agree with.

Vaggie looks back and forth between us."..okay I'm going to ask this and I need full unfiltered honesty.." she clears her throat. "Are you- both-...you know-..??"

"Vaggie, sweetheart, I like women." Lilith says.

"What-?" I look at her.

"I'm lesbian."

"Well I know that Lucifer already told me, why is that relevant??"

"..I-..she was asking if we- and him-"

"Oh-! Fuck no!" I spit out.

"Well you don't have to fucking say it like that!" Lilith argues. "I'm not that bad!"

"Oh please." I roll my eyes. "You left your family for eight years because you were to scared to tell them you were a lesbian."

"That doesn't make me a terrible partner and I'm pretty good in bed." She crosses her arms.

"You're disgusting."

Vaggie slowly steps out without another word.

"And you're completely unattractive yet somehow managed to not only date but marry the most gorgeous man in existence. Quite literally."

"He is gorgeous isn't he."

"Okay, I'm leaving."

"Wonderful idea, great job!"

She glares at me.
