Lucifers head rests on my shoulder.

Why am I allowing this?

I mean-I don't do touch-

But I am allowing this.Multiple times.

"I'm sorry I snapped at you." He mumbles.

He sits back up, looking up at me.

His gaze lowers for a moment before he meets my eyes again."I uhm.."

What is this feeling?Warmth low in my stomach..

"I'd better go.. I need to talk to charlie.."

He clears his throat, letting go. "Uh- yeah.."

I stand outside of Charlies suite.

Hesitating deeply.

Clear it up..Clear your name..

I raise my hand to knock, interrupted by the door opening.

"I'll go get it- oh-" charlie looks at me. "I thought I told you to leave."

"I need to speak with you."

She looks over her shoulder, closing the door.

"Make it quick."

"I had no intention in using you or your father. I know I have a shitty past. And I'm not interested in being redeemed but-.. I do cherish my friendship with you."

She frowns, looking down. "Where is she?"

I swallow.

"Somewhere in heaven. For now."

"Did she ever say anything about me? About dad?"

"..unfortunately..nothing good, my dear."

Tears form in her eyes, so I offer her a hug.

She hesitates, but then hugs me, crying into my chest.

"I'm so sorry." I wrap my arms around her, letting her cry.

Hell I'd probably commit if my mother betrayed me.

"I'm sorry I didn't let you explain.."

"You're perfectly fine, Charlotte. I just hope you can forgive me."
