31: Birthday

It's been a two days since our last day together with Jimin. I always call him every hour but he always say "call later, i'm busy" I was wondering what's goin' on and he have no time to talk to me. Our winter vacation will end soon and I want to spend that last moment with him before I get busy studying. It's morning and I'm still in my room wondering what should I do. In the middle of my moment, my phone rang. I immediately looked at the phone screen.

"Tsk, I taught it was Jimin!" I said in the air and picked the call from Xiaoyou.

"Yah!! Bogo shipda!!!" She shouted from the line and I removed the phone from my ear because her voice hurts.

"Nado. Why did you call? Is there something important?" I asked.

"What's with the voice tone?" She said and she paused for a while. "Let's go to amusement park! Let's go out together"

"Ok" I shortly replied while pouting. To be honest, I don't have my mood to go out unless it's my boyfriend.

"Are you sad? Did Jimin hurt you?" She asked with worries on her tone.

"I always call him, ever hour. But he always say that he's busy. I'm worried and I miss him at the same time" I said with my saddest tone ever. "And my delulu mind thinks that he might cheat on me, and I'm scared. I've never been in a relationship before. I'm scared to be hurt"

"Yah! Don't think of that! Jimin is a very perfect boyfriend. He'll never do that to you. Because I know that he loves you so much" she said, and those words hit me.

"You're right. I'm just delusional" I said.

"I need you right now, please? Let's meet at Lotte World okay?" I nodded even though she can't see me and she hanged up the phone.

"Soo-yah! Bogo shipdaaaaaa!!" She shouted and ran to my arms to hug her.

"I miss you too, Ms. Jang!" I said and caressed her hair. She grabbed both of my shoulders and faced me.

"Let's go and face our fears!" She said and she dragged me all the way to ticket booth. I widened my eyes when she bought all tickets for the rides. I don't want to say no to her because it's our hang-out after almost one month.

I shouted as we tried all the rides. I faced my fears just for our joy. We tried the most thrilling rides such as Gyro Swing, Viking, French Revolution, and Atlantis. I was scared at first but was changed into smile as I saw my bestfriend drooling and crying because she's scared.

"That's so s-scary yet so f-fun" she stuttered as we walk like a zombie that will puke anytime.

"Y-you're s-so pale!" I said and laughed.

"Said with the one who's paler than me" she said and we stopped by a headband store. "Hey, let's try!" I nodded at her and we tried some cute headbands and took a selca together. We went to a food truck and ate fried food junks and drank churros.

"Wait, the nature's calling me. Wait here, I'll be back" she said and stood up.

"No, I'll go with you!" I said.

"Yah, I'm not used to take a- you know with someone. Please just stay here" I didn't had a chance to speak anymore because she already ran. She left me here sitting in the middle of the big carousel watching couples pass by. I was a bit envious.

It's been 15 minutes but Xiaoyou's still not here. I called her but she didn't picked up and I started to panic. It was all interupted when I saw a group of people watching me, I gave them a why-are-looking-at-me look and they just gave me a warming smile, I smiled back akwardly and they payed attention to a man.....

P-park J-jimin?!

They clapped and he looked at me while he walks with a cake on his hand and a red ribbon tied on his purple hair.

"Saeng-il chukhahamnida~Happy Birthday to you~

Saeng-il chukhahamnidaHappy Birthday to you~" he sang and smiled widely to me. There were tears dropped from my eyes.

The crowd clapped and Jimin ignited the candle.

"Make a wish" he said. I wished and blew the candle and I noticed that there is a letter under the cake. I took it and read.

"Dear Haesoo,

Sorry because I ignored you these days. I was just busy planning, decorating and baking your cake for your birthday. If you ever think that I cheated on you, I'll never do that! Always remember that I love you.생일축하해 내 사랑이 (Happy Birthday, my love)

Park Jimin.

"Happy Birthday!" Xiaoyou popped out from my back and threw confetti on us.

"Hey, did you both planned this?" I asked.

"Yes!" They said in unison.

"Thank you so much!" Jimin put down the cake and I hugged them. "To be honest, I'm not aware that it's my birthday today" I chuckled.

"You forgot?" Jimin asked and I nodded akwardly.

We came back home and when I opened the door, I saw birthday decorations and mom surprised me by throwing confetti on me.

"Happy Birthday my daughter!" She said and I hugged her.

"Thank you Eomma!" I said and we entered.

We celebrated my birthday inside and had some fun. Jimin said he set it all by himself and I was touched by his efforts. Eomma and Xiaoyou gave me a gift except Jimin. It's already night and Xiaoyou already left, Eomma is already asleep and we were left together here.

"Thank you for today, I was really happy that I have you all in my life" I said. "And your cake is really delicious. Where did you learned it?"

"Tutorials" he smiled at me.

"Where's my gift?" I asked and crossed my arms.

"Here" he said and kissed my forehead.

"Kiss only?" I pouted at him and he smiled. He walked to my back and put may hair sideward.

"Don't ever lose this, promise?" He said and I nodded as he place the necklace on my neck and leaned his chin on my right shoulder and hugged me. I looked at the pendant and saw his name on it. "That necklace came from my mother when I was a child and she said give it to a girl that I love and will be with me in the future" I was fluttered at his words.

"Thank you, so much. You're really sweet" I said. "This is the best gift ever" I held the pendant.

"I love you" he said with his sweetest tone. He always reminds me that he loves me so much but this time, it's sweeter.

"I love you too" I said and he stood up to hugged me again so tight as if he'll gonna lose me.

We left at my house to walk in the street while holding hands. Even if it's dark and scary, I felt secured at his hands. We walk and walk everywhere until midnight.

"I just want to spend this last minute with you before your day ends" he said. We're here at Namsan Tower again. He dragged me to the love locks and paid the man who gave us two pair of heart locks, a purple and pink one. He wrote Jimin ♡ Haesoo | 12.04.18 and we locked it together. He gave me the keys but I threw it away. "Why did you threw it?" He asked.

"I threw it because I don't want to unlock that lock with those keys. We will never break up and we'll never unlock it because we will be together forever" I said and he blushed. He threw his keys too and hugged me.

"We never took a selca together" he said and he opened his phone to take a picture of us together. He smiled as he put our selca as his wallpaper.

I looked at his childish smile. He attacked me with his lips and it met mine. It's been two days since he last did it and I longed for it so much.
