Chapter 3

I knew those laughs from the moment I heard them. Haley and I look at each other and start to panic.

"Okay I have an idea. Let's go down to the café. Grab something real quick and then come back" I nodded in agreement. "We know what room they're in now, but we can't just go knock on the door."

Well why not? That was my plan just go knock say hey and then book it.

She's probably right though. We'll look like weirdos. Let's go with her plan... yeah

We made our way to the elevator, through the lobby, both of is having giggle fits as we walk into the cafe. We skipped over to the counter and placed our order. Two caramel frappes. The lady behind the counter hands us our drinks and we hand her our debit cards.

"I can't believe they're actually in the same hotel as us. What are the odd of that? " Haley says still in shock.

"I know girl you better get you some Matthew" I smirked.

"Oh you know Imma hop right on that" we both busted into a laughing fit as the lady hands us out cards back and we turned to leave.

Holy fuck.

They were standing right there before our eyes. They were right there in the doorway staring and us. Oh my god. What do I do ? I can't move. I want to, but my feet won't allow me. My body is frozen in its stance.

They're moving closer. I think they're coming over here. Oh my god. Oh my god.

"Hey. I'm Cameron." He said smiling at me. "This is Carter, Nash, and Taylor" he pointed to each of the boys.

"Hi"

"Hey"

They all said in unison.

"Oh hey. I'm Haley. And this is my best friend, Parker." She replied gesturing to me. I sent a quick smile and waved.

"Well it's nice to meet you." Cameron said. "We were just gonna grab some snacks and hang out in our room. Would you guys care to join?" He asked.

"That sounds awesome. Sure." Haley smiled. I still haven't said a word since we met the boys. I'm just so scared. I have a tendency to say stupid things when I'm nervous. I always make a fool of myself and I'm so clumsy. God. I hate myself. Why can't I be more like Haley? She's perfect. She's beautiful, smary, funny, spontaneous and I'm the opposite. I'm not pretty, at least I don't think so, you can tell me I'm beautiful, but I'll never believe it. I'm not funny, Im awkward, I can be quite shy when I first met someone, I'm not good at making friends. I always push everyone away. I'm surprised Haley had stayed by me for as long as she has.

The boys started grabbing snack from the selves and throwing them onto the check out counter. While Haley and I stood to the side waiting and sipping on our coffee.

Carter's POV

We all just got here in California and were getting settled into our rooms. Nash, Cameron, Taylor and I were all in my room doing a vine. Taylor was doing the 'Grind On Me' with balloons. The first try was a major fail, laughter filled the room when he fell off the bed.

There was a loud squeal from the hall.

"Did you guys hear that" I asked going over to the window to see where the noise had come from. The boys all gathered around the window with me. There were two girls standing in the hallway they seemed to be in shock. One of the girls had shoulder length light brown hair, she was pretty tall, and really thin. The other girl had very long dark wavy hair, she was short, and she was thick, she had a little more meat on her bones. I liked girls like that. She was stunning.

"Zayymmmmnn is you got a bae or nah?" Nash snapped.

"They're hot" Taylor added.

They got into the elevator and the one with the long hair and ray ban sunglasses started to laugh historically. She had a beautiful smile.

"I call dibs on her" I said bluntly.

"Which one?" Cameron asked.

"The short one. With long hair. She's gorgeous" I replied.

"They're both hot but id probably pick her too." Cameron added.

"You're both wrong. Did you see those legs. Damn." Nash smirked.

I wonder where they're going ? I need to meet her.

"Bro let's go follow them." I jumped up and opened the door. The boys following quickly behind me. I started to run down the stairs. They were probably already to the lobby I couldn't wait for the elevator. I jumped and sprinted down the nine flights of stairs by the time I reached the bottom I was short for breath. I looked around to see where they could've gone.

"Dude there they are." Cameron said with excitement. They were in the cafe. They stood there laughing at something the short girls said. They turned around to face us. Both of the girls faces filled with shock and excitement all in one. Maybe they know who we are.

"I'm gonna go introduce myself" Cameron said taking a few steps forward.

No. Not a chance in hell he's gonna steal her away. I called dibs. He can't break bro code I followed closely behind him. She looked even more beautiful up close and I could see her eyes now that her glasses were off. They were a beautiful shade of golden brown with a few specks of green. She had perfectly tan and she had a few piercing that were visible, her belly, her nose, and her ears. It was so hot on her.

"Hey. I'm Cameron." He said introducing himself followed by all of us. We said hello to the girls. She had a huge smile plastered in her face.

"Oh hey. I'm Haley. And this is my best friend, Parker."

Parker. Her name was Parker.

That's a boys name... isn't it? it suit her though. I think it's beautiful. She was beautiful.

I've said that a lot haven't i ?

Parker's POV

I can't believe this is happening. We're about to go hang out with them in there room. How unreal is that ? They actually came over and talked to us. They invited us to there room. This is crazy. Is this actually happening ?

Nope. It's not. I'm dreaming.

Someone pinch me. Please.

Carter starts to walk over in our direction.

"Come on. I'll take you up and introduce you to everyone else." He smiles. We follow him through the lobby to the elevators.

"Wait!" Haley says. "There's more of you ?" as if she didn't already know. Carter let's out a small laugh.

"Quite a few more actually." He replies as we reach or floor. He steps out and says "this way" we nod and follow behind him.

We come to a room and Carter knocks in the door.

"It me man." Carter yells. "Open up"

I could hear footsteps coming closer and the door swings open.

MATTHEW ESPINOSA.

The Matthew Espinosa come into view.

"Whose this?" he asks with a smile.

"This is Parker." He points to me. "And this is Haley"

"Well hey" he sounded a bit surprised. "I'm Matthew. But you can call me Matt."

"It's nice to meet you." I spit out knowing that no matter how outgoing Haley is, she's in shock right now, she won't be speaking for a few moments.

"Oh my god." Carter looks at me with wide eye. "You can talk" he said. I could feel my cheeks turning red as I let out a giggle.

"Well I must say Carter.." Matt started as we entered the room. "I'm impressed. We've been here an hour and you've already picked up two gorgeous girl." He pats Carter on the back.

"Thanks Man. That means a lot." Carter laughs. "Where's everyone else?" he asked.

"They're in the other room." He replied and gestured to the open door in the room. They're rooms were all joined. Carter started waking in the direction to the other room and we followed behind.

It was so loud. I think they were having a smack can eat. It was chaos they were running around like chipmunks.

"GUYS" Carter yelled over the madness. "I HAVE SOME GIRLS I WANT YOU TO MEET" the moment he got the word girls out all the boys stopped frozen.

"Okay. This is Jack Gilinsky, Jack Johnson, Aaron, and Shawn" they all waved and smiled.

"And who are these cuties?" Gilinsky asked.

"I'm Parker." I introduced myself.

"I'm Haley." She waved. Oh thank god she's okay. I was worried for a minute there.
