JAMIE POV

It has been two weeks since Taehyung's accident. He was slowly recovering, but the boys, Rachel, and I visit him everyday. Right now, I am at school. Fifth period just ended and Minho and I walked past Jimin. As I walked past him, I couldn't help but to think back on his confession.

Jimin and I barely talked in the last two weeks. I have been trying to avoid him because when we did talk, he expected an answer from me. An answer to his confession, and I couldn't answer due to the circumstances of my life, his life, our relationships with Minho and Momo, and Taehyung. I also couldn't answer because I knew that I was vulnerable enough to get back together with him. As much as I want that, I have to remember... Jimin's mom knows my secret.

Soon enough, my secret became the biggest burden ever. Some days, I just want to let it all out and tell Jimin the real problem. I'm just a coward.

I sighed as Minho walked me to the dance room.

"What's up with the heavy sigh?" He asked. I looked at him and I felt bad. I like Minho, but never to the extent of how much he likes me. He has been so sweet, caring, and loving, and all I have been doing is thinking about Taehyung and Jimin.

"Just tired." I answered. When we got to the dance room, I hugged Minho and bid him goodbye. When he left, I entered the dance room. There, I saw Bangtan and Momo.

Speaking of which, for the past few weeks, I also haven't seen Jimin and Momo kissing... not that I'm complaining. But, I couldn't help but to feel bad, as if I was the reason why.

The coach went up in front of everyone and cleared his throat. We all looked at him.

"Great job on being undefeated champions. I know I said this a million times now, but I'm just so proud. Anyway, the championship is in one month. I am here to announce the six people who will be dancing the partner's dance. Remember, everyone will be in the championships, but these six people will have two performances that day instead of one." He said. We all nodded and waited anxiously; all except of course Jimin, Momo, Jhope, and me, since we already knew we were in the dance.

"The dancers will be, Jimin and Momo, Jhope and Jamie, and Jungkook and Bora! Congratulations dancers!" He exclaimed. Everyone clapped, except for Chelsea, Sunny, and Jessica, who looked pissed. I rolled my eyes at them. As if they ever really had a chance.

"Oh! And you can all take a day off from dance today, but starting tomorrow, you all need to work extra hard on the new choreography for championships okay?" The coach said. Everyone nodded. "But for the partner dancers, do a mini dance off right now! Just for our entertainment." He added. At that, my eyes widened. What is it with all these dance-offs?!

Alright choose a song of choice and I'll play it on the stereo for you. I went to Jhope in panic.

"Why another dance-off?" I asked. He laughed.

"Just for fun! Relax! What song do you want to do?" He asked.

"Um... how about... Rainism by Rain?" I asked. Jhope smirked.

"Sounds great." He answered.

.

Once we all requested a song, the rest of the class moved to one side of the practice room while the dancers stood on the other half.

"Okay, first up, Jhope and Jamie!" He said. I looked at Jhope, and with one smile of assurance, we moved forward and took our positions. When the music started, I let my body move.

Even though we never practiced this dance together, we moved nearly in perfect sync. We both knew the dance well, thank the lord.

When we were done, the class clapped.

"Bravo! Great musicality and clean moves. Impressive." The coach commented. We bowed and thanked him.

"Next, Jimin and Momo!" He said. I watched as the two took our place. Jhope and I joined the seated audience. I watched as Jimin and Momo took their positions. I waited until the music started but once it did, my eyes widened.

This was their dance:

It was Troublemaker.

As they danced, I tried to look away, but I couldn't. I watched as their hands touched all over each other, and my heart pinched. I tried not to let my uncomfortableness show, but it seemed to me that the whole class was disturbed by the content.

When they were done, Jimin and Momo received a slow clap. Momo had a huge smile on her face, but Jimin seemed embarrassed.

"That was... touchy. But still, you both had great passion. Well done." The coach said. Next, Jungkook and Bora went up. They danced to a beautiful song.

While they danced, I caught Jimin glancing my way. I turned to make eye contact with him, but this time, he was the one to look away. I sighed and looked back at Jungkook and Bora, who were amazing.

After they finished, the class clapped.

"Alright alright! You all did great. I got some amazing dancers here." The coach complimented. We all bowed and thanked him.

"But... I am going to have to say that Jungkook and Bora's performance was the best. It had precision and was smooth. Great job guys." He ended. With that, the bell rang. The class was dismissed and Bangtan and I went out to meet Rachel.

"Great news guys! Taehyung is discharged from the hospital today! He's allowed to go home and recover there." Rachel said. We all let out a sigh of relief.

"I feel so bad. He was in so much pain for the last two weeks." Jimin said. We all turned to him.

"He forgave you already Jiminie and so have we, it's time you did too. Let's go guys." Rap Monster said. He sighed as we all followed.

.

.

"Hey guys!" Taehyung greeted when he saw us.

"Hey Tae, how are you feeling?" I asked.

"I would feel a lot better if I were home." He said. We all smiled at him.

"Well, at least your going home today, right buddy?" Suga said.

"Right!" Taehyung said happily. We helped him pack his belongings, sign papers, and soon escorted him out of the hospital on a wheel chair.

"It's your first day out Tae! What do you want to eat? I'll buy you anything you want." Jimin said.

"You better!" Taehyung joked. We all laughed.

"I want lobster and steak." He added. Jimin smirked.

"Of course! Let's go!" He said as he led Taehyung to the car.

.

.

When we got to the restaurant, we reserved a table for nine.

"Kims! Assemble!" Taehyung yelled. We all looked at him confused.

"What?" We asked. Taehyung rolled his eyes.

"Kim Taehyung! Kim Namjoon! Kim Seokjin! Kim Jamie! Kim Rachel! Assemble!" He yelled again. We all started laughing.

"My last name isn't Kim." Rachel laughed.

"It will be in a few years." Taehyung winked at her. We all started snickering again as Rachel blushed. The five Kims sat on one side of the table while the rest of the boys sat on the other side. Soon, Taehyung ordered five of the most expensive dishes from the menu, and Jimin didn't even flinch.

We enjoyed our meal, and let me just say, it was one of the best foods I have ever eaten.

When the check for the meal came, Jimin looked at it and a smile crept on his face. He simply put his card on the checkbook and gave it back to the waiter.

"Did you enjoy the food Tae?" He asked. Taehyung smiled his box smile and nodded.

"Thanks Jiminie." He said but Jimin shook his head.

"You should never thank me for anything ever again. I owe you everything." He said. Taehyung gave him a weird face.

"Then I don't think this friendship will work out. You of all people should know, I like thanking people. Come on Jiminie, I'm fine. Don't feel bad about what happened because I don't regret doing it. I would get hit by a million cars to save you man, you're my best friend." He said. Jimin looked at him and his eyes turned glossy. They were sharing a moment of gratitude, and Rachel and I were admiring the moment... until the other boys had to ruin it.

"Wow, then what are we? Your side friends?" Jungkook asked.

"Nope. I'm just the charity case. His land lord. Taehyung, have your stuff out of my house by tomorrow." Jin added.

"Hyuuuunnnngggg." Taehyung whined, and we all started laughing.

"You guys are all my best friends and my brothers." He said to them. Then, he turned to me. "And my sister." My heart melted as I smiled back at him. Then, he turned to Rachel. "And my lover." He winked. Rachel blushed.

"And to think... you were about to die." Jhope said as he pat Taehyung's back.

"None of us could live without you Taehyung." Rap Monster said as he pat his back.

"We love you man." Suga said. We all looked at Suga, since he was never one to say stuff like that. Suga looked at us awkwardly before cursing under his breath.

"Wow, I try to be all nice and fit into the touching, loving conversation for once, and this is what I get. Fine." He said. We all started laughing.

"I love you all too." Taehyung said. With that, Jimin got his card back and we all stood up to leave. We led Taehyung back to the car, where we then decided to go home so that Taehyung could rest.

"Guys, we aren't that far from my house. I think I'll just walk home." I said.

"Aww, why?" Jungkook asked.

"I just want some fresh air." I said and the boys nodded.

"I'll walk too." Jimin said. My eyes widened. The boys looked at us awkwardly.

"Okay... well... have fun." Suga said before he closed the car door. With that, they drove off, and all that was left was an awkward silence between me and Jimin.

He turned back to me and smiled. I awkwardly smiled back.

"Would you mind if I walked with you?" He asked.

"No... I guess not." I answered.

"Then let's go!" He said as he started walking. I nervously followed.

We walked for a few moments in silence. Then, Jimin spoke up.

"Um... that whole Troublemaker dance Momo and I did earlier... it was her idea." He said. I nodded, although I really did want to hear an explanation for it. "Trust me, I was really uncomfortable." He added.

"Well, you two did great." I complimented.

"Look Jamie. I keep thinking the situation over and over again and... I know there is something you're not telling me. What is it?" He asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Why can't we be together? I mean, the school and my mom was against us dating since the beginning but we managed to be happy. What changed?" He asked.

"Nothing I just..."

"It's your dad isn't it?" He asked. I suddenly stopped and my eyes grew wide. D-Does he know?

I swallowed the biggest lump in my throat.

"M-My dad?" I asked.

"Yeah... he found out and said no to us dating huh?" He asked. I let out a sigh of relief.

"Um... not exactly." I said. Jimin stopped walking when we were close to our houses.

"Then tell me. Please. What is it? Why can't we date?" He asked. I started to panic. What should I say? Should I tell him the truth?

"Momo!" I yelled. I knew I couldn't do it. Jimin gave me a confused expression.

"Momo... and Minho. It's not fair to them." I said. Wow, great excuse Jamie.

"I... don't really like her. I used her in the exact same way she used me years ago. I only kissed her to get your attention." He admitted. My heart hurt knowing that, and I felt bad. Not only because of that... but because in reality, I knew I was doing the same to Minho.

"But..."

"And I know you don't really like Minho." Jimin said.

"I--I do." I said. He suddenly looked at me with a look of hurt.

"He is really special to me." I said. I wasn't lying. Minho is special. He understands me.

"I'm not?" Jimin asked.

"You are but... not in the way he is." I said. He looked even more hurt. To him, he took it that I liked Minho more, but to me, it meant that Minho knows what it's like to get beaten and pretend like nothing happened. He is like me. Jimin doesn't know about this, and I'm debating to see if he should know, or if I should just continue to let him go.

"So... you love him now?" Jimin asked as he dropped his shoulders.

"No!" I blurted, which caught both of us by surprise.

"No... I just... can't bring myself to explain." I said.

"Jamie..." he said as he slowly reached for my hand. I so wanted to dodge his touch, but I missed him so much. He held my hand and I felt a rush of strength build up in me.

Jimin saw that I didn't reject his hand, so he took a step further and slowly embraced me. Upon hugging him, and upon smelling his scent and being held in his strong, protective arms again, I couldn't help but to become vulnerable. Tears reached my eyes as one escaped, and surprisingly, I heard a sniffle that wasn't mine and realized that Jimin was crying as well.

"Jimin?" I asked as I tried to see his face. However, Jimin denied this movement as he held me tighter, preventing me from looking at him. He let out a big breath and sniffled again.

"I..."

I waited for him to continue.

"I missed this so much." My heart softened as another tear escaped my eye. Me too Jiminie, me too.
