Draco had been distant since Christmas. Almost as if he knows something I don't. After we had almost kissed for the second time that day he was called away by his mom. Then Voldemort called a last minute meeting, that I was supposed to go to apparently but my mom got me out of.. yet again.

Today was our last day here. We'd be heading back to Hogwarts early I guess to keep an eye out for Harry Potter. But today is the day I try on wedding dresses which will be nice I suppose. It will be a nice distraction at least.

I mean need something to wear on the big day..

I walked into the guest room Narcissa had set up for her seamstress to see multiple white gowns hanging from the frame of the bed. There were also a few black ones...

Won't be needing those.

"You must be the bride" a short and stout woman said coming from the on suite bathroom. "I'm Patricia Darling, Narcissa's seamstress" she shook my hand excitedly for an awkward period of time before letting go. "I was so excited when Narcissa called me with this job! I've been working on these for months since" she said pointing towards the dresses.

"Thank you Patricia. I appreciate it greatly" I said sweetly. My mom and Narcissa soon walked into the room, both with wide grins on their faces.

"Oh honey, are you so excited?" My mom squealed. I haven't seen her this happy in a while. She pulled me into a side hug and shook me slightly.

"I think so" I muttered. I was still nervous about this whole thing. I'm happy Draco and I have been getting closer but it doesn't mean we're husband and wife material. I mean what kind a husband ignores his wife for days?

I started trying on dress after dress, the seamstress leaving the room until we needed her again. As my mother and Narcissa gave me their very honest opinions on each one. After the first few they put me in the first black one which made me want to vomit.

"Oh I have a necklace that would be perfect with that dress" Narcissa scurried off. I gave a half smile and looked at myself in the large mirror they hauled into the room for me.

"You hate it" my mom chuckled. I nodded giving her a soft smile.

"I'll go let her know." She then got up to leave. I was going to wait for them but I got bored so I decided to get into the next one. It was like a ball gown but wasn't too puffy at the bottom which I liked, the deep neck added a bit of a... sexier touch. I wasn't sure if I was going for that or not yet.

I was trying to decide if I liked it as I stared at it in the mirror. I tried zipping myself up to get a better idea but with everyone out of the room I was having trouble. So I tried to picture it as best as I could.

"Mum have you seen-" the door swung open and Draco was there. His sentence stopped when he saw it was just me. I watched him through the reflection of the mirror. His eyes looked over me slowly, his mouth slightly agape. He shook his head as if he were trying to get out of a trance. "Sorry I'll just.." he pointed back the way he came but I stopped him.

"Actually since you're here would you mind..?" I pointed to the zipper. He nodded, and it looked as though he gulped. He walked up slowly behind me. His fingers tracing my back and giving me the same chills I felt nights ago. He stepped away and I looked at the dress in the mirror.

"I think I prefer unzipping" he smirked at me. Whatever was on his mind for the past few days seemed as though they disappeared, at least momentarily.

"Funny" I said with a smile. His eyes left my body briefly to see the black dress I was just in on the floor.

"My mum?" He pointed to it. I nodded. He let out a laugh. He walked over and pulled it into his hands to take a look at it. He came up behind me and held it in front of my body to see what it looked like on. His chest was pressed against my back "you look like you're going to a funeral" he laughed.

"I am going to a funeral... for my freedom" I gave him a small smirk he was trying hard to look offended but he couldn't help but laugh at the joke.

"Maybe the black is appropriate then"

"I prefer the white" I said motioning for him to remove the black dress from the front of me.

"Oh good" he breathed out in relief. He stepped to the side of me. Placing the black dress where he found it before putting his gaze back to me. "It looks.." he looked me up and down again.

"Terrible?" I said scrunching my nose

"The complete opposite actually" he said softly.  He stepped forward tucking a piece of hair behind my ear. His hand then going to sit on my jawline. I forgot the overwhelming feeling I get whenever we are this close. My stomach being over run with butterflies and my heart racing. "Maybe try on something a bit.. tighter" he whispered into my ear, causing goosebumps to appear on my neck. I tried to hide it by pushing him away from me. I couldn't hide my smile or blush on my cheeks though.

"Draco! You can't be in here!" Narcissa stomped back in. "It's against tradition to see your bride in her dress" she continued.

"I don't think we're gonna too worried about tradition in an arranged marriage mum" he scoffed softly. She gave him a harsh look and he lifted his hands to surrender.

"I'm leaving okay!" He started to stroll out, and I turned back to the mirror. As I watched him leave I saw him take another sneak peak of me. His eyes met mine and his cheeks went slightly pink before shutting the door.

"We can't do this one, he's seen it now" Narcissa said sounding stressed.

"It's okay. I'm not too sure it's the one anyways." I gave her a smile and she returned one.

"On to the next then"______________________________A/n

I was just emotionally destroyed by another Draco Fic and I had a hard time focusing on this, hopefully it was a good little filler chapter for you all.

I hope you're still enjoying the book! Thank you again to everyone who votes and comments!

Also would love any opinions on if I should add a little bit of spice or keep it mainly fluff. I like to hear what you all would want!
