ɔɦɑρʇəʀ 20- 'They're Just Costumes.'

3rd Person's POV

After preparing so much for the Summer-ween party, (Y/n), Bill, Mabel, Dipper, Wendy, and Lee head to Greasy's diner for lunch. They stayed there, eating for at least 25 minutes since it's only 12:40 noon.

They finished at 1:05 exact and Wendy and Lee had to look for their costumes so its just the four that's left. They head to the Mystery Shack to plan every event for later. Mabel and Dipper sat on the floor and (Y/n) starts to float with Bill beside her.

"So guys, what should we do?" Dipper asks breaking the complete silence. "Oh, by the way, how were your costumes guys?" (Y/n) asked, facing the twins.

"It fits really good on me! And I love it! Don't worry, you'll see it later though." Mabel suddenly answered.

"Okay, cool. How 'bout you Dip?" "I didn't try it on yet, but I'm sure its my size." He said while looking at the demon girl in the eyes.

Dipper's POV

'Wow, this was the first time I looked at her directly in the eyes.'

I suddenly felt my cheeks heat up when (Y/n) smiled warmly at me.

"How about your costumes?"

"Mine? It's fine, I'm just going to change later before heading to the party." (Y/n) says with that smile in her face.

"Oh, that reminds me. Pinetree, Shooting Star! I have an emergency to tell you, Snowflake, you stay right here." Bill says, walking towards us then grabbing mine and Mabel's arms, dragging us to the porch of the shack. Then he started talking about these things about later. At first, I didn't agree with him, because the plan was so...let's just say I'm not with it. But Mabel forced me to agree with Bill, so I did.

We got back inside the shack to see (N/n) floating off-ground, playing with the yellow and red fire now in her hands. But she stopped when she saw us. Mabel is still wearing that excited smirk on her face since Bill told us the...thing...

Then time went on until it was 5:36 p.m.

The party was starting at 6:00 p.m.

We've got less than 30 minutes to prepare, so I head to the bathroom to change my clothes to Len Kagamine's. Mabel changed in the room where the old carpet was placed. I still remember its powers. (Y/n) changed in the attic. Bill changed in who-knows-where.

I got out the bathroom with my outfit. I see Mabel outside waiting for me, and she looked pretty. We really are the best twins.

As for Bill, he dressed the formal Joker attire. He looked perfect with that metallic tuxedo. He even change his hair color to green, and he still looks, uh, you know what I mean...

We were all waiting for (Y/n). She took so long in the attic. Bill decided to ask her if she is done. She says we just go ahead in the party place, because she'll catch up later.

So we head to a clearing in the woods to see a cool place now full of people.

Not just them, I think the whole Gravity falls was invited. Some are beside the lake. But when they saw us coming, they immediately came to Bill.

Bill's POV

(Y/n) takes so long to change even when she has Magic. Maybe she got lost in the way. That's impossible. I know very well that she can track auras.

There was a loud music playing when the girl I've been longing to see stepped in the clearing entrance with the most sexy outfit I have ever seen.

The music suddenly stopped and another song started playing.

She was surprisingly greeted by Shooting Star, then followed by Pinetree. Snowflake admired them back.

She looked sexy and beautiful with that outfit she has. She even did her hair. She has every detail of her favorite villain character.

More boys approached her and started flirting with her, she just laughed and didn't even bother to look for me--

"Anyways, did you guys see Bill? I didn't see him with his 'oh-so-crazy' outfit yet."

We paint white roses red,Each shaped from a different persons head,

(Y/n)'s POV

I was planning to look for Bill first when Mabel, Dipper, and the rest of the guys came to me. I did not see Bill with them at all. They started making these cheesy jokes, and I gotta admit, some were funny. Then I decided to ask.

"Anyways, did you guys see Bill? I didn't see him with his 'oh-so-crazy' outfit yet."

I'm peeling the skin off my face,'Cause i hate feeling safe,

"OH MY GOSH! GIRL YOU HAVE TO SEE YOUR BOYFRIEND RIGHT NOW! YOU TWO MAKE THE PERFECT MATCH!" Mabel shouted making everyone do the 'ayiiieeee' sound.

The normals, they make me afraid,The crazies, they make me feel sane.

I just blushed in embarrassment.

"Guys, please, he is not my boy--" I was cut off by the crowd behind me formed a pathway towards me. I felt it.

So I turn around and flinched at the moment when Bill's face is mere inches close to mine.

I'm nuts, baby I'm mad,The craziest friend that you've ever had,

'Isn't this a bit too close? Definitely.'  I thought while backing away.

I heard a louder 'ayiiiieee' from the crowd.

You think I'm psycho, you think I'm gone,Tell the psychiatrist something is wrong,

I look at the ground with my face flustered. But within a second, I gathered all my courage to talk to Bill, a.k.a. Joker.

"Nice outfit."

Over the bend, entirely bonkers,You like me best when I'm off my rockers,

"Hello, Harley." He said, ever so sweetly.

"Uh, that's not my name."

"Why bother, Harley~?"

Tell you a secret,I'm not alarmed,

"Bill, are you nuts? They're just costumes."

"Some costumes have hidden meanings in them."

"Oh yeah? Like what?"

"Us, we're the best people here, and look at us, we're dressed like psychos, and I love the idea of that... Don't you?"

So what if I'm crazy,The best people are,

This is really getting awkward, people staring at us because of Bill's cheesiness.

"Okay fine, just start the party, it's getting boring." I spoke up. Everyone got to their own places, and so did I. I went with Mabel and Wendy in the lake. Mabel has a swimsuit under her gown so she removed her gown and placed it somewhere safe and jumped into the water. Wendy just jumped in the water without removing her costume. They invited me, but I refused because I can't dry myself later in front of people that who don't know my real identity. So i declined their offer.

"Oh come on girl, just have some fun a little." Wendy protested.

"Yeah, come in!" Mabel said then dipped herself in the water.

"Sorry guys, I can't dry my clothes, not in here."

"Exactly." Mabel says smirking.

"Wait, you're telling me, that I'm going to dry my clothes, not in here...?"

"Yeah you got it, dude! Now jump in!!" Wendy says while splashing some water in to me. So I removed my boots, my jacket, my right hand glove, the rest of the accessories including my choker. Then I jumped into the water. Soos was on music duty, and he plays nice music.

I spotted Dipper heading our way with 4 cans of Pitt Cola.

"What are you ladies doing here, huh?" He says with a confident smile on his face.

"Oh, you know, having fun." I answered while reaching for my Pitt Cola. I handed Mabel and Wendy theirs.

"How are you doing, Sir Dipping-sauce?" I asked.

"I'm having fun as well, and you should've seen Bill drink 10 bottles of beer. Man, he was wild!" Dipper says then chuckles at the end of his statement. "Ahhh, good times."

"Well, good for you Dip-- Wait, 10 BOTTLES OF BEER STRAIGHT!?" I asked him after I just processed his last statements. This is going to turn out bad.

'Wait, demons can never get drunk, right?Just like what happened with the Mabel juice incident.'

"What happened to him, Dip??! Is he acting drunk?" I asked practically panicking.

"Well, yeah, but it was fun."

"Dipper, you just released a beast from his cage!" Mabel says while throwing her arms in the air.

"Well, he's never caged." Wendy mumbled.

"Seriously dude? This is getting serious. He might hurt someone." I said while getting off the water. Wendy and Mabel started to follow me behind a tree where I dried them and myself. Then Mabel and me wore our clothes back. Dipper, Mabel, Wendy and me started to look for Bill.

No sign of Bill everywhere. So I started to head to the shack and left the others searching for the dream demon. I took the long way to the shack.

Not aware of what was going to happen.
