It was the beautiful starting of the night, A man was lazily sitting on the bonnet of his black car, cigarette between his lips, exhaling smoke into the evening air

Suddenly heavy footsteps started echoing in the garden but he didn't look up to see who it is, The man who's coming must be his close one otherwise his guards would already shoot him on the main gate

He closed his eyes feeling exhausted of all the chaos running in his life since last 5 years, Only one incident changed his life and now he's being more dangerous than before, his hands slid behind his head to rest when another hand reached out, snatching the cigarette straight from his lips, The ember flickered, then died as other man crushed it beneath his boot

The man sitting on the car bonnet smirked and opened his eyes to see other man glaring at him

!! : Didn’t know you were the health-conscious type, doc! *smirk*

Mingyu laughed a little and tilted his head, watching Guwon with lazy amusement

Guwon : Back off! Mingyu! *cold*

Mingyu : You know, for a doctor, you sure have a habit of giving out threats instead of prescriptions! What's next? Gonna check my heartbeat? Huh? *smirk*

Guwon : *sighed* She’s not yours! She never will be! Let her go, mingyu! Start a new life--

Mingyu : You mean Y/n? The love of my life? My doll? *smirk* sorry! Not happening!

Mingyu exhaled, stretching his arms like he has all the time in the world, Guwon stepped closer, grabbing his collar by his one hand

Guwon : she loves someone else! *cold* And in case you forgot, she has seven mafia brothers! The same brothers who locked you in that mental asylum! I know that younger brother is your friend but he loves his sister more than anything! *cold*

Mingyu : Oh I remember! *pout* I'm so sorry! I forgot that You got a punch from jk! Is it hurting? *laughed*

Guwon jerked him back and stood straight while glaring at him, Mingyu stopped laughing and his smirk was gone, just for a second, then it's back, sharper than before

Mingyu : You know Guwon! I just don't care! *smirk*

Guwon : *clenched his jaw* They’ll come for you, Mingyu! And when they do, you won’t survive and you know that! *cold*

Mingyu : I won't go without a proper plan! I know her brothers! *cold*

Guwon : *rolled his eyes* But why do you want to go there?? Just forget about her, man! *angry*

Mingyu finally moved, pushing himself off the car, He stood tall, now face to face with Guwon, sharing an eye contact

Mingyu : Oh doc! You’re really worked up about this, huh? *smirk* Or is it because you know exactly how it feels?

Guwon's expression softened and he narrowed his eyes, taking a step back, Mingyu took that as his cue to twist the knife deeper, he smirked and took a step near him

Mingyu : You let go of your love, didn’t you? *smirk* You walked away, Left her behind, Like a coward--

Suddenly a hard punch landed on mingyu's face, he turned his face right and Guwon jerked his jacket removing the imaginary dust off from the jacket

Guwon : Don't you dare to provoke me! *cold*

He turned back, leaving the mansion, he barely took two steps when Mingyu smirked and leaned back on his car, rubbing his cheek by his fingers

Mingyu : You're always running, huh? *smirk*

Guwon stopped mid step, his fingers turned into a fist but Mingyu didn't stop

Mingyu : Like when you ran away from her! *sighed dramatically* damn Guwon! You really don't Change--

Guwon : Hyung! *cold*

Guwon turned back, glaring at Mingyu, clenching his jaw, Mingyu smirked, knowing he’s poking at an old wound

Mingyu : what?

Guwon : it's Guwon Hyung for you! *cold*

Mingyu : *laughed* what? Really? *shook his head* Okay! Sorry! Guwon hyung? Fine? *smirk* oh! I suddenly remember about one day! What was it again? Umm...

He acted like he feigned deep thought and turned to him

Mingyu : Yeah! *smirk* you're a kid, Guwon! Four years younger, find someone your own age! *laughed* ouch! That must've hurt, right guwon HYUNG! *mocking*

Guwon didn't answer but glaring at Mingyu, he pushed off the car, stepping closer, voice dropping to a whisper to Guwon

Mingyu : Tell me hyung! Did it hurting more than you lost your family? Or did it hurting more when you saw her with someone else? *smirk*

Guwon closed his eyes and sighed, not wanted to say anything to Mingyu

Guwon : You talk too much! *cold*

Mingyu raised his brows when Guwon didn't wake his inside monster, he watched as Guwon turned again, this time slower, as if daring him to speak again, Mingyu knew that Guwon wasn't a man who can be trapped so easily but he wanted Guwon's help as Guwon was also the person who left someone for that family 

Mingyu : You’re good at letting things go, huh? Your crush, your pride, your damn dignity! *smirk*

Guwon froze a second but ignored him and started taking steps again, Mingyu tilted his head and widened his smirk

Mingyu : You let your crush go just because she called you a kid? Damn, Guwon Hyung! I thought you were a mafia, not some lovesick college boy--

Guwon : ENOUGH! Last chance, Mingyu!!!! Shut the fu*k up! *angry*

Mingyu chuckled and shook his head, spreading his arms out, taunting, daring him

Mingyu : or what? You'll shoot me? Huh? Try me! *smirk*

Guwon didn’t respond immediately, Instead, he slowly turned , and for the first time that night, Mingyu saw something dangerous in his eyes

Suddenly the bullet whizzed past Mingyu’s ear,so close that he can feel the heat, It slammed into the ground inches from his feet, sending dust and gravel flying, Mingyu didn't flinch, but smirked, knowing the fact that Jeong Guwon wasn't only a doctor but a mafia, a ruthless mafia, he's something far worse mingyu needed

Guwon : Next time, I won’t miss! *cold*

Mingyu : Well, well… Looks like the doctor’s got a dark side! *smirk*

Guwon pulled him closer by his collar and glared at him

Guwon : The only reason you’re still standing is because Hyujin asked me to spare you, your brother begged me to, If it weren’t for your brother and it were up to me, I would’ve let you rot in that asylum *gritted his teeth* or you’d already be in a body bag, mind it!

He jerked him off on his car and glared at him

Mingyu : Guess I touched a nerve! I'm passed!

Guwon smirked, clicking his tongue, he rested his head in pockets and shook his head

Guwon : you didn't touch a nerve, you touched a loaded gun, kid! *cold* and don't think that bangtan brothers will go easy on you, No one goes against those seven brothers and walks away--

Mingyu : Then I guess it’s time to change history! *smirk*

He tilted his head and smiled, Guwon looked at his smile and sighed, he wanted to warn mingyu for his bestfriend, Hyujin, who was Mingyu's elder brother, who requested Guwon to take out mingyu from that asylum and he did it but Now guwon was regretting on his own decision, he knew Mingyu was trying to provoke his anger as he knew Guwon had some old relation with one of that family member, Guwon didn't want to go back in his past so he was trying to keep mingyu away from that family but now he didn't think mingyu would listen anyone

Guwon : *sighed* Hyujin still believes that you need saving! That poor boy doesn't know about his brother's reality--

Mingyu : mafias are just like that! Hyung! We get everything we want! *smirk*

Guwon : *sighed* whatever! But I'll suggest you not to do anything against those brothers, result will never be in your favor! *cold*

He turned back to leave but stopped and looked back

Guwon : Delete every CCTV footage! *cold*

Mingyu : *scoffed* Tsk, tsk! Look at you, being all secretive! Never thought I’d see the day when the great Doctor Jeong Guwon was afraid of his name getting out! Or is it that you don’t want her to find out? *smirk*

Guwon didn't answer but the slight twitch in his fingers didn’t go unnoticed by Mingyu

Guwon : Make sure my name never comes up! *cold*

Mingyu : arghh! So it is because of her! *smirk* You’re still like this, huh? Running away, pretending you don’t care! But tell me, Hyung! Does it still sting when you hear her name? *smirk*

Guwon didn't answer, he remained silent and Mingyu got the chance

Mingyu : I bet it does! Obviously! After all she's the part of that family now! *smirk*

Mingyu watched closely, waiting for a crack in Guwon’s expression, He took another step closer, voice dropping to a near whisper to Guwon

Mingyu : Must burn like hell knowing the girl you loved married into the same family that locked me up in that asylum! Don't you want a revenge? Hyung! *smirk*

Guwon didn't answer and now Mingyu was done with his cold behavior, he gritted his teeth and tried his last chance

Mingyu : Damn, hyung! You really just let her go like that? Didn’t even fight for her? Or maybe she was right! *pout* Maybe you really are just a kid--

He didn't complete the sentence and the blink of an eye, Guwon grabbed Mingyu by the collar and slammed him back against the car, The smirk on Mingyu’s lips barely has time to fade before he felt the cold press of metal under his jaw ,The gun pressed firm and steady against his skin

Guwon : Take her name again and see the result! *cold*

Mingyu met his gaze, and for the first time that night, But instead of backing down, he does what he does best

Mingyu : What? Afraid you’ll break if you hear it? *smirk*

Guwon didn’t blink, didn’t waver, the pressure of the gun increased just slightly, and for a split second, Mingyu actually wonders if he’s about to get shot, then just as suddenly Guwon let him go, stepping back,Mingyu straightened his shirt, rolling his shoulders, his smirk returning almost instantly

Mingyu : *smirk* Tsk! Same old Guwon! *pout* You know, the funny part? You tell me to delete the footage, erase your name, act like you were never here! But no matter how hard you try, you’ll never erase her from your mind! *smirk*

He pulled out his mobile phone and did what exactly guwon asked, erased the cctv footage, he showed the screen to Guwon and he turned back without a word

Mingyu : Man… you’re never gonna move on, are you? *scoffed*

Guwon ignored his question and put his hands in his pockets, while backfacing him

Guwon : This was your last chance! Next time, I won't miss the shot! *cold*

He simply walked away, his silence the deadliest response of all, Mingyu watched him disappear into the darkness and scoffed

Mingyu : Next time, Neither will I! *cold*
