Honey Lemon's House

~Time Skip~

Honey Lemon's POV

So now that school's out, I can have a sweet talk to Gogo. And maybe I should tell her my secret, too! I mean, how cool would that be?

I stopped by my locker to get my stuff. I closed my locker and I was surprised to see Tadashi.

"Tadashi!" I exclaimed. "Hi! I didn't expect for you to stop by here."

"Well, there's something I have to tell you," he said.

"Really? Wanna talk somewhere private?"

"Sure."

Okay, so maybe my date with Gogo will have to wait. What choice do I have? I can't just reject Tadashi that easily. He's one of my best friends. Or more than a best friend. I followed him going outside.

Gogo's POV

I feel like I'm going to be sick. Why? Because I have to solve a very hard equation in math! There's good news and bad news. The good news is that it was a take home seatwork. The bad news is I don't know how to solve it! It's a good thing that our teacher is kind so she expected for us to pass that not later than Wednesday.

Again stuck with Hiro. I don't know why he's accompanying me around here. Is it because he likes me?

I stopped by my locker to get my things and go to Honey Lemon's house. I closed my locker and we both went outside. Hiro checked the time and told me, "Tadashi should be here by now. Where is he anyway?"

"Maybe in the lab?" I guessed. "Or maybe with Honey Lemon. She said that I have to meet her here."

"You going to her house?"

I nodded. "She said she wants to talk about something."

Hiro's POV

Talk about something? Okay, just don't let her know, Honey. I don't know why I have feelings for her. Love-er-like is like a flower that blooms when the time is right.

Five minutes has passed and Tadashi and Honey Lemon are still not around. We grew relentless so we decided to find them.

After five minutes of searching, we still haven't found them. Until, Gogo nudged me and saw Tadashi and Honey Lemon together. Whoa, what? My brother is with Honey Lemon? That's strange. But this is the most strangest thing I saw. They held hands? That was fast. Today's the first day of school, for crying out loud! But yeah, a lot of things can happen in one day. It is possible.

"Hiro," he called me. "How long have you been here?"

I frowned a bit and told him, "Five minutes plus another five minutes in searching for you."

"Same here," Gogo said.

"Hey bro," Tadashi murmured to me. "I was gone for ten minutes because I told Honey Lemon something."

"Oh," I mumbled and nodded. Now, I'm curious. If Tadashi was with Honey Lemon the whole ten minutes we've waited, is there already a them? Better ask later when we get home.

"Come on, Tadashi," I called him, "Time to go home."

"Of course," he said. "Bye, you two. See ya tomorrow."

Honey Lemon's POV

"Bye Tadashi!" I exclaimed. Okay, let me tell you what happened later.

"What took you so long?" asked Gogo.

"You are never going to believe it!" I exclaimed.

She tilted her head and asked why. I beamed at her and said, "You'll see."

I picked my stuff and motioned her to follow me going to my house. As soon as we arrived home, I let her stay in my room while I get some snacks.

Gogo's POV

You've got to be kidding me! Her room is pink? And yellow? But there's more pinks than yellows. Then I heard the door open and I saw Honey Lemon coming in. As she closed the door, I complimented, "So, you're a fan of pink."

"Yep," she agreed. "And also yellow. But mostly it's pink."

We sat down on the floor and she gave me a snack. "So why did you let me go here?"

"I need you to talk about something."

"About what?"

"About you and Hiro."

I froze. Is that the reason why she let me go here? About me and Hiro, being together for a whole day?

"Do you like him?" she asked me seriously.

Okay, I have to admit, I like Hiro. Why? Because he's being a gentleman to me and I think he's cute and adorkable.

I sighed and I told Honey, "Yes, I do like him."

Honey Lemon's POV

Oh. My. Goodness! I love these things. A person likes someone and the someone likes the person back! I love it soo much!

"Aww," I cooed. "That is so sweet."

She scoffed. "Sweet as a honey?"

I laughed at her joke. Yeah, honey is sweet actually. And I have no idea why I was named Honey Lemon. In my opinion, I think that means sweet and sour life. And still, it doesn't make any sense.

"You know what," I told her sincerely. "Hiro also said that he likes you, too."

"He did?"

I nodded slowly and smiled. "But it's okay. Both of your secret's safe with me." Then I did the zipper thing on my mouth just like I did with Hiro earlier.

We were silent for thirty seconds and then she asked me, "So, what was between you and Tadashi, anyway?"

"I thought you'd never asked."

I took a deep breath and said everything to her. "Okay, it all started when I was at my locker picking up my stuff, preparing to go home. I closed my locker and I saw Tadashi. He said that he wants to tell me something. I let him. We went somewhere that no one can see us."

"Then..."

I continued. "Then, he became open to me and he said that he likes me ever since first year high. And he said that every time before he goes to sleep, the one that always goes to my mind is me. I'm also in the same way." I paused for a while. "After the confession, he told me that he now doesn't like me anymore."

"Really?"

"Uh-huh. Because he loves me. I was flattered about what he said and I also said that I also love him back. And do you know the best thing that happened?"

She shook her head. I leaned closer to her and whispered, "We kissed."

She gasped sharply. "No way!" she exclaimed.

I grinned. "Yes, way! And guess what? I am already the one."

Gogo's POV

So that's why they were holding hands earlier! There was already a them.

I wonder if Hiro and I will do the same. I mean, I'm still fourteen and my birthday is coming this November. So I think he is just months older than me. And Honey Lemon's one year older than me. So I did like him. Amazing! But today's not the perfect time to tell him, right? Time will come.

I checked the time on my watch. It's almost six! My mom's gonna kill me. You know that she doesn't like me going out this late except for special occasions.

"Oh, would you look at time," I said quickly. "I guess I better go now."

"Sure, you can go," Honey Lemon told me. "And don't tell anyone, I mean, anyone about this."

I smiled and promise. I went out the door and now my mind is going to Hiro. I really wonder.
