🖤 STRAY KIDS FANFICTION: The Witness (8)🔥🤰
06:50, 11 April 2025The world was watching. Every screen lit up with the same image.
You. Strapped to a table. Monitors attached. IV in your arm. Eyes tired, terrified. But still fighting.
And then—
A cold voice filled the air.
"We interrupt this program with a message... for Bang Chan."
You flinched. Tried to scream past the gag. They'd silenced you—again.
The man stepped into frame, smirking.
"She's strong, isn't she? Strong enough to carry your child."
He gestured to the monitor behind you. A heart monitor. But not yours.
A tiny one. Barely a blip. Barely formed. But alive.
"Congratulations... Daddy."
The screen went black.
And Bang Chan?
He broke.
Like a dam bursting. Like a storm that had waited too long to destroy.
He threw the remote. It shattered against the wall.
Everyone in the room froze.
Then he turned—slowly, eyes wild, voice hoarse.
"They put her on camera."
"They showed her... our child."
"And they smiled."
Minho: "Chan—"
"NO. No more hesitation. No more plans. No more surveillance."
"We end this. Tonight."
That night... the bunker gates blew open.
Explosions. Gunfire. Smoke.
The government guards never stood a chance.
Hyunjin took the south wing. Felix hacked the security.
And Bang Chan?
He went straight to the lab. No mercy. No mask.
Just vengeance.
Inside the cell...
You were losing hope. Your head lolled to the side, eyes fluttering shut.
Then—BOOM. A flash. The power went out.
And suddenly, the door was kicked open.
You barely registered the silhouette. Gun in one hand. Blood splattered on his face. Eyes locked only on you.
"Y/N."
You burst into tears.
"Chan..."
He dropped everything.
Ran to you.
Unstrapped you from the table with shaking hands. Held you like you were glass. Like you were holy.
And when his hands found your stomach—just the faintest swell, barely even there—
He froze.
"It's true..."
You nodded, crying into his chest.
"I didn't know—till they told me. I-I'm sorry—"
"No." His voice cracked. "Don't ever be sorry."
"You're carrying my child. You're carrying us."
He kissed you. Hard. Raw. Unapologetic.
Like the world hadn't just burned. Like the worst was over.
(But you both knew... it wasn't.)
His arms were around you. Your face buried in his chest, breathing in his scent—cologne, smoke, and faint copper. You'd never felt safer. You'd never felt more terrified.
He looked down, brushing a bloodied strand of hair from your face.
"You okay, baby?"
Your voice shook.
"I-I think so. I just... I can't believe we made it."
He rested his forehead to yours, whispering,
"We didn't make it yet. We're still in hell. I just came to drag you back out."
And then—alarms. Red lights flashing. Sirens wailing through the hallways.
Felix's voice came through Chan's comm:
"Hyung, we've got a problem. They're locking down the building. Roof access is blocked."
Chan didn't flinch.
"Get the chopper to the East wing."
"What if it's a trap?"
"Then we spring it. I'm not leaving her behind."
He turned to you, grabbing a gun from the ground and placing it gently in your palm.
"Can you shoot?"
You blinked.
"I-I've only held scalpels and bone saws, Chan—"
"Then treat this like surgery, princess." "Point. Aim. Cut through the threat."
That smile—unholy. Protective. Devoted. God help anyone in his path.
You ran through the hallways.
Bang Chan beside you. Minho and Hyunjin covering the rear. Every corridor felt like a death trap.
And then—
You collapsed.
Your knees buckled, pain flaring in your stomach.
"Y/N!"
Chan caught you instantly, falling to the ground with you. His hand hovered over your lower abdomen, panic seizing his whole body.
"What's wrong? Are you—?!"
You gritted your teeth, shaking your head.
"I'm okay. It's just stress—I think—I just need—"
"We're not taking chances."
He turned, rage bubbling under his skin.
"Felix, we need that damn helicopter NOW."
Minutes later...
The rooftop was chaos. Smoke. Bullets. Wind howling from the blades of the helicopter above.
Chan lifted you into his arms like you weighed nothing. You held onto him, trembling, hiding your face in his neck.
And just before he climbed aboard...
A shot fired.
It grazed your arm.
You screamed.
Chan lost it.
He spun, aimed with one hand, and shot three rounds straight into the sniper's skull.
"YOU TOUCH HER AGAIN, AND I'LL MAKE YOU CHOKE ON YOUR OWN TEETH!"
The rage in his voice was godlike. You weren't even sure who he was anymore. But somehow... it felt like love.
Twisted. Violent. All-consuming.
In the helicopter...
He held you close, whispering over and over.
"You're safe now." "I got you." "No one's ever touching you again." "You hear me, mama? You're mine. You and our baby—mine."
Your eyes fluttered shut, head on his chest.
"Chan..." you whispered. "I think I love you."
His grip tightened.
"You're not allowed to think it. You're gonna know it." "I'll prove it. Every day. Starting now."
And then—
He kissed you.
Messy. Fierce. Desperate.
The kiss of a man who's died for you in a thousand ways already... ...and would do it again without blinking.
The helicopter thundered over the trees, slicing through clouds like knives.
Inside, you were cradled in Chan's arms, wrapped in blankets, your face buried in his chest. Safe. Loved. Finally.
But then...
Your breath hitched.
Your fingers curled tighter into his shirt.
"Chan... s-something's wrong."
He looked down. Your skin—pale. Your lips—blue.
And then he saw it.
Blood.
Seeping through your pants. Pooling. Spreading fast.
"NO—NO NO NO NO—"
His voice cracked as he pressed his hand against your thighs, trying to stop the bleeding. But it kept coming.
Too much. Too fast.
"FELIX, GET THIS DAMN THING ON THE GROUND!"
Felix: "We're almost at the safehouse, hold on!"
Chan ripped open a med kit, hands shaking like he'd never been trained at all.
"You're not losing this baby. You're not—I'm not—"
"Stay awake, Y/N, please—LOOK AT ME—!"
Your eyes were rolling back. Your breaths came shallow.
"It hurts..."
"I know, I know baby—just hold on—"
The moment the chopper landed...
Chan didn't wait.
He ran.
Through the trees, through the gates, into the safehouse with you in his arms—bleeding, weak, barely holding on.
Hyunjin cleared the makeshift operating table.
"Put her down—NOW—get the surgical light!"
Chan: "She's pregnant. Three weeks. Major blood loss. We can't lose her—we can't lose them."
Minho barked orders. Felix threw supplies. Seungmin started an IV.
Bang Chan? He didn't move from your side.
Minutes passed. Hours maybe.
Blood soaked the sheets.
You were in and out of consciousness. Eyes fluttering. Body trembling. Baby's heartbeat on a monitor—weak. Too weak.
And then...
It stopped.
Flatline.
"No..." Chan whispered. "No no no no—BRING HER BACK—!"
He slammed his fist into the wall.
Minho: "We need to stabilize her or we lose both. We have 60 seconds!"
Chan fell to his knees beside you.
"Y/N... baby, you said you love me."
"You can't say that and leave me the same night. I won't survive it."
He kissed your forehead. Your lips. Your stomach.
"Stay. For me. For us."
And then—
A blip.
A flicker on the fetal monitor.
"Heartbeat!" Seungmin shouted. "It's faint—but it's back!"
"Y/N's BP is rising—she's stabilizing!"
You lived.
Barely.
But you lived.
And so did your baby.
Later that night...
You were in bed, IV hooked, blanket up to your chest. Chan sat beside you, hand on your belly, his face buried in your side.
"You scared the shit outta me, mama..."
You turned to him, weak smile on your lips.
"Guess our kid's already a little fighter."
He chuckled, eyes wet.
"Just like you."
Then he leaned up, kissed your cheek, your lips, your hands—gently. Like you were sacred.
And then—
"I bought you back. You and the baby. You're mine now, Y/N. Forever. And I won't let this world touch either of you again."
His voice?
A promise. A threat. A vow of war.
