Epilogue

Luke

De Vaoan is graceful and beautiful in the eyes of the angels and their human companions who have made it here. Rolling hills as far as the edge of the shadow realm. Trees bare passion forbidden fruits, each one sweeter than the last.Jade was here before I had come. She was waiting for me with lilly flowers in her hair, a soft white dress falling just over her thighs, and a smile with apple red intoxicating lips.

"Luke I understand why you did what you did. You tried to save me. I forgive you. I've been watching over you and I know how much this has weighed on your heart. I don't want you to blame yourself for what that poisonous snake did. I love you. That hasn't changed." She had spoke, opening her arms to me. She still smelled of vanilla and the mint from her chapstick. Her eyes still big and brown. "Jade I will never let you go again. I promise I'll make things right for us." I had responded. She grinned and held me tight as my guilt washed away.

Helping Michael cost me though. If I appear in front of him in apparition form again, I may be stuck in the void. Stuck between reality and De Vaoan. I can't leave him though. He's got so much more to do. De Vaoan has bigger plans for him.Maybe I am supposed to interfere. Ashton is a dark force that must be destroyed before he can realize his full potential. He's already dangerous, but if he found the Scythe of Ciaosi, or Terror, Michael wouldn't stand a chance.

At first, I thought there would be no way that Ashton could find it. It's hidden deep within Doalim.

Unfortunately, someone here in De Vaoan is feeding him information as well. I can't leave Michael and Y/N in the dark.

Jade agrees with me and believes I should help them as much as I can. I may not be able to stand with my brothers, but I can fight for what's right. After all, I am a dark angel.

Y/N

Calum's shoulder was healing slowly but surely. Michael's malpirg power helps with heat therapy and Kyanna snapped his shoulder back in place. He wasn't too thrilled with that.

"What are you going to do?" Calum whimpered, his eyes burning navy blue.

"Just think of how you felt when you stabbed Luna. Hold on to that feeling." Kyanna mumbled, taking hold of Calum's shoulder.

Calum had a slight smile on his face as he thought about it. Kyanna snapped his shoulder back in place with a loud crack.

"Irflig bu dites!" He shouted, squeezing his eyes shut.

Kyanna smirked a bit and cracked her knuckles. "Problem solved. You're welcome."

You rested your head on Michael's shoulder and felt him chuckle."What did he say?" You questioned.

"He said something that resembles a mother figure and some sort of naughty word." He said softly, wrapping his bandaged arms around you. His wings were unscathed and silkier than ever.

"Hey! Enough with the language." Alessa spoke hoarsely, walking into the small room. Her neck was ringed with bruises and red scratches. Ashton had really done a number on her. It was nice to see her recovering though. For the first few hours, she couldn't speak. Now she can articulate herself a bit more.

"Y/N, my aziazor. How are you faring?" Michael whispered, trailing his finger over your side.

The truth was, you were exhausted and everything was sore. Before you could say so, he lifted you into his arms. "We haven't had any time alone aziazor. Let me take care of you." He kissed your jaw and held you safely. His scent soothed you, and the sound of his heartbeat was so familiar.Without him in your life, there wouldn't be the love and the sense of protection. He would do anything for you.

"Michael would you have brought me here if you didn't feel something for me?" You asked, looking up into his green eyes.

"Aziazor I would've fallen in love with you no matter what. Don't question that. I love you. I took you to Oresa Park. You're the first human to set foot in Doalim because I saw something in you. You helped me fight Ashton. You care about me and my brothers. Luke was happy for the first time in years. Aziazor, you're the best thing that's happened to me."

Doalim seemed quiet since Ashton's disappearance, but it was an eerie silence. The angels were on edge and no one seemed safe.

This chapter for Doalim has come to an end. The skies are darkened with the deaths of angels, the stars hidden. The black angel disappeared with the lies and hatred in his heart. The white angel grieves his brother and thirsts for revenge. Perhaps Doalim will finally be at peace. Who are we kidding? This is only the beginning for an even darker Doalim. For now, we search for the soul of the Dark Angel.
