Peace for A Night

Michael held you tight as you cried about leaving your mother. His hands lightly massaged your lower back, trying to help you catch your breath. You buried your head in his chest and sobbed. "Aziazor I apologize for making you feel this way. I never wanted to hurt you." He spoke softly. The sound of his unusual heartbeat in your ear soothed you and sang to you like a lullaby. Your erratic breathing calmed, and your body relaxed into his touch. "I hope you can forgive me. I just wanted you to be able to say....." He didn't finish his sentence, but you knew he meant goodbye. With everything going on in Doalim, you had no idea whether or not you would survive. "Michael? Do you think we could all go to Oresa Park tonight? I want a night of peace. I don't know what will happen tomorrow or the next day if make it." You asked, wiping the tears from your cheeks. He brought his hand up to cup your cheek and brushed his thumb over your skin. "Vvrbs noncf, I understand. I can arrange for the ones who stand with us to meet us in Oresa Park. We shall all feel etharzi tonight."
Luke
Alessa helped me back to my cluttered room when I saw the blue, glowing summoning sigil over my window. "Michael. He's calling us." She spoke, mimicking my thoughts. "This can't be good."
Melody
Geez no one cleans after themselves anymore. No "Here let me help you with those dishes!" Instead it's all "Melody! Clean! Now!" It annoyed the living sh- I dropped the plates in my hands when the summoning sigil flashed in front of my face. I shook my turquoise wings and kicked aside the broken China. Michael needed something. Don't want to sit on my ass and miss something eventful.
Calum
I ignored the blue light and looked up at the night sky instead. Why would he send it to me if he obviously didn't trust me? He's better off without a traitor.
Kyanna
"Five more minutes." I mumbled and pulled a pillow over my face. The random blue light appeared at my side and I wanted nothing to do with it. Yet. Then it began pulsating and getting brighter. Can't a girl get some sleep? I sighed and finally got out of my comfy bed. "Fine. I will follow your glowy ass sigil." I got rid of my pajamas and pulled on blue jeans and a jean jacket. My wings stretched as I yawned and cracked my knuckles. My reflection in the mirror looked pretty good. Like always. I thought I was beautiful. It doesn't matter if anyone else does or not. Of course it was hard enough being one of the only black angels in Doalim, but it worked for me. This dimension needs more diversity damn it. My black hair was straight and down to the middle of my back. I never was very experimental with it. If I was training, basic pony tail. Nothing else. A girl doesn't have time for fancy ass hair during a battle. But what I liked most besides my complexion were my eyes and wings. They were the same light peach color. Even before I was turned, I loved peaches. Quite ironic. I sighed and grabbed a dagger just in case. "Alright Michael. This better be good."
Y/N
"How many angels did you send the sigil to?" You asked as Michael soared through the dark sky."About twenty. They're the ones I would trust with my life." He admitted and swerved away from a jagged tree branch. You thought about the angels you had met here in Doalim. Not many you know by name, but the closest ones you could think of were Luke, Alessa, Melody from Mononusa de Tibibipe, and...well Calum. But you didn't understand why. Calum was a coward and he didn't want to fight for the right reasons. "We're almost there aziazor. Would you like me to stop by my room to fetch you another jacket?" He asked, concerned. You placed a kiss on his cheek and smiled. "I'm alright Mike. But thank you." He nodded and flew closer to the ground, Oresa Park coming into sight.
He landed softly, his arms still holding you close against him. "Michael what's going on?" Luke questioned, landing beside Michael with a worried looking Alessa. She looked beautiful. Her situation was tragic, but she looked even more regal than she had before. "I will tell you when everyone arrives." Michael said quietly. Luke gave you a full hearted smile and winked. He was looking so much better. It gave you high hopes. He wouldn't die. He couldn't.
Melody landed next, her blue and pink hair flowing behind her. You were still astounded by her pink and blue hued skin. "Michael I got your summon. Is something wrong?" Her voice sounding like twinkling chimes. You just noticed that her wings were a blue green color trimmed with what looked like lace. Geez what's with all these gorgeous angels? "Nothing's wrong Melody. I appreciate you coming. I will explain shortly." Michael spoke professionally. "This is simply a gathering of united angels against Ashton's ruling." Melody nodded and waved at you like a little schoolgirl. She made you giggle and that caused Michael to smile at you in adoration.
Angels arrived within the next few minutes, vibrant colors from every angle. Some you haven't seen before, and some that were very familiar. All of the angels greeted Michael properly and waited to hear what was going on. One of the last angels to arrive was a stunning dark skinned girl with peach colored eyes and wings. She was on the shorter side but she looked fierce and you definitely wouldn't want to get on her bad side.
"Kyanna. Thank you for coming." Michael acknowledged and shook her hand. She raised an eyebrow and smiled. "You know I love my sleep Michael. But I love you more. So you owe me." He laughed and let go of her hand. "I'll make it up to you. But for now, I really appreciate you showing up." You glanced at Kyanna and she eyed you carefully. She was absolutely gorgeous. "You must be Y/N. The darkies are talking so much about you. I'm Kyanna. That's spelled K-Y-A-N-N-A. And it's not pronounced Key-Anna." She explained and you nodded. "It's nice to meet you Kyanna. I love your wings." You blurted out and Michael chuckled. Kyanna seemed taken aback by that and she gave you a vibrant smile."It's wonderful to meet you Y/N. Thank you very much. I like them too. Between you and me, I think Michael's jealous of them." She whispered loudly on purpose and Michael just shook his head. You let out a giggle and she winked at the two of you."Yes that's exactly it Kyanna. I'm terribly jealous because my wings don't look like fruit." Kyanna stuck her tongue out at your angel and grinned.
"Welcome esiasch and esiasias. I am very pleased that you all of have answered my summons. I apologize if this worried you. This was not my intention. Now we all know that Ashton is planning his war. We don't know when or where it will take place but we need to be prepared. Tonight I want us all to relax and enjoy this night of peace. I don't know when we will be able to do this again, if ever. We might as well make the most of it. Tomorrow may not come. But that's OK. We have tonight and we will enjoy it." Michael announced perfectly and the angels burst into applause and cheering. He was a pretty good speaker. If he wasn't drunk on Angel Sugar. "Now I ask Kyanna if she will sing a song of protection and comfort?" Kyanna graciously agreed and made her way to where Michael was formerly standing. She cleared her throat and as she sang, her eyes glowed peach.
"Bi luiahe ozazm etharzi, ol ask aoiveae paida olapireta en way. Geraa torzul od bliort saji ti Oi time de miketh od raclir. Solpeth adagita en bial oh dosiji. Protect ol od beranusaji ol iz Oi oresa. Gohus aisaro de etharzi bolape ho. Paaoxt through a dosiji. Bliort Doalim teloch od vanupehe."
Her voice was sweet and beautiful, her words carrying over the darkies towards the heavens. Michael's arms wrapped around you from behind and he softly sang the song to you in translation.
"My song grants me peace, I ask the stars always light my way. Moon arise and comfort me in this time of torment and weeping. Listen to my voice oh night. Protect us and save us from this darkness. I say the promise of peace will be true. Let it remain through the night. Comfort Doalim of death and anger."
He ended the song with a kiss to your shoulder, making you shiver slightly. A sense of calm washed over you and the angels and for the first time in a long time, you felt peace.
Luna
"Those brats are conducting a protection curse over Oresa Park." I hissed at the tensed up Ashton. "Aren't we going to break it up?" He stood tall and faced me, his eyes set on mine. "No. We do not attack tonight. We will let them have their night of peace. It's the least I could do." I gagged at his sentiment."No the least you could do is kill them quickly."
His eyes looked as if they were in fire. "You do not have a say Luna! I am the ruler of Doalim and I will not stand for your childish behavior. If you are to stay here, you will listen to me and me only." Man he was hot when he told me what to do. I waltzed over to him and ran my fingers over his chest.
"I'm sorry Ashton. You're right. I am acting childish. It won't happen again." I purred in his ear and felt his body tremble under my touch. "If they get a night of peace, we should too." He gripped my wrist and pulled me towards his lovely bed. A night of peace indeed.
This night of peace only lasts tonight. No telling what will become of tomorrow. Prepare. Yes prepare for things to take a drastic turn. You think it's all been lollipops and rainbows? Oh my child. There is much you have yet to see. Death and blood awaits you. Get rid of those fairy tales and welcome your mind to the real world. Nothing is perfect. Nowhere is perfect. You will see soon enough.
