Sleepover

Eric and Cassie were not good parents at all. They were always out at clubs and played favorites. They loved Peregrine but hated Kingsley. The parents were never home, which left the kids alone.

It was a Friday night, the parents were excited for the weekend. They decided to go the club to celebrate, like they always did. They never thought of something new. It was only clubs and parties. That's all it was.

Eric and Cassie had gotten VERY drunk on this night, so they decided to spend the night at a friends house a few minutes from the club, since their actual house was an hour away. They left the kids for the night. But Peregrine had it under control. She knew what to do and how to take care of the house because she always watched her mom do it.

Peregrine decided that, since Eric and Cassie weren't gonna be home, that she wanted to have a little sleepover with Kingsley. Their parents would be gone until the next morning, so she decided to do what any good older sister would do and have fun with her little brother, along with some bonding time.

Peregrine saw some matching pajamas in her little wardrobe and got herself dressed. She then walked down the hallway to Kingsley's room and got him dressed in his pajamas. She held Kingsley in her arms and admired his outfit. Kingsley smiled and hugged Peregrine. She could tell he loved his outfit, and she loved hers too.
