The next day at school:)

Things were going well for the three of them. They were in school, it was peaceful, and none of their enemies had picked on them.

Heather was long gone, and Maggie didn't want the smoke after what Sasha had done to her.

Everything was just great. Plus the school year for them ended just the next day. It was also a great day. The school let them know that nobody had any work to do, the school also brought free pizza for every class!

And this time the pizza slices weren't skinny like lines.

Everyone was in the cafeteria laughing and grinning. Sasha, Anne, Marcy, and Gabby were all sitting at a table eating the pizza slices they were given.

(Search up gabby if you forgot who she is)

Meanwhile Marrissa was at a different table trying to make moves in her crush.

Good thing Heather wasn't there anymore to get in the way of that.

"Hey, Marcy. You, Sasha, and Anne look like you guys would be a pretty cute couple. Why not get in a relationship with them?" Gabby raised an eyebrow.

Marcy almost choked on her pizza at the sudden question and she felt her face start to heat up. "Whaaaaa!? No no no no no, we're just friends that's all. Nothing more."

"It's obvious that you guys have something. 8th grade formal is tonight, and you guys already brought your dresses, why not go with them to dance?" Gabby questioned, with fake innocence.

"Heh, Anne and Sasha are going together I don't think they'd have a good time with me third wheeling so it's better off if I go with an old friend or by myself." Marcy responded.

And in that moment, Sasha, Anne, and Maggie all turned they're heads, and smirked at each other.

What the heck?

Marcy raised an eyebrow, confused at the sudden gesture between the three.

They had been acting weird for days. They've been more secretive, they'd go out and do things without inviting Marcy. There was even one time where Marcy caught them writing something on a big poster and they threw it out of Marcy's view right as soon as she walked in the room.

We're they hiding something from her...?

"Be right back! I just need to go get something from my locker really quick." Sasha said.

"U-Uh, so do I! Be right back!" Anne also said.

They then excused themselves and a big frown formed on Marcy's face as she watched the two walk out of the lunchroom. She then turned her head back to Gabby, who had a nervous expression.

"Hey, have those two been acting a bit weird lately to you? Like, have you seen any kind of difference in they're behavior?" Marcy asked

Gabby fidgeted nervously, eyes wandering around in hopes of someone being nearby that she could talk to to avoid the question.

When her attempt was unsuccessful, her attention was back on Marcy and she opened her mouth to say something. "Sasha and Anne? No... their just fine! Their the same ol Anne and Sasha to me! They're your friends, if they weren't feeling right they'd tell you." Gabby assured.

Marcy's expression saddened. "Then why do they keep leaving me out...?"

Ouch.

It hurt Gabby's heart to see happy-go-lucky Marcy go from grins and giggles to sadness and worry. It just wasn't like her.

"I don't know what their doing. But they know I don't like to be left out, they know I don't like to be alone."

Gabby placed her hand over her chest in pity as she opened her mouth. "Marcy... I-"

Gabby's sentence was cut off when the heard a stomp from behind them. The both of them turned they're heads to see what the noise was, but what Marcy saw left her in shock.

Sasha and Anne were back!

But they were acting weirder than usual. They were standing on a table and Sasha had a poster folded up in a circle. There were students crowded all around the table they were standing on, some throwing rose petals around them, and other students holding pastel colored balloons.

Marcy had never been more confused in her life.

"I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT TO MAKE!" Sasha shouted.

Marcy raised an eyebrow, looking around to see if anyone else was as flabbergasted as she was.

"As you all know, prom is later on tonight. Me and Anne are going together. But we left something very special out." Said Anne.

"Yea, SOMEONE. We didn't forget about that someone, we just wanted to make this particular event special for them. That special person is amazing, gorgeous. I'm not saying this just for the sake of saying it. I love the way they look, the way their eyes light up when they say something cheesy on accident, the way they're cheeks go red when they get flustered, the way they smile with those gorgeous lips of theirs, I love every inch of the way they look." Sasha chuckled, a red tint forming on her cheeks.

"Though they may think of themselves as imperfect, to me they're a temple I'd like to worship day and night." Anne grinned, softly.

"I know that everyone, including the someone that were talking about, is wondering who it is. Well that someone is...." Anne started.

"Marcy Wu."

Marcy's mouth fell agape as she stared at the hand that was offered to her from the table. She got up, walked over to the the table they were standing on, and took hold of the hand that was extended out to her. She stepped into the table and stared into their eyes in confusion.

Sasha handed Anne the folded up poster. She gladly took the poster and began to unfold it.

Once it was opened, Marcy eyed the words on the poster.

It had little heart drawings and little sweet sentences like "you're beautiful" or "hey there pretty lady!" It also had a couple of stars and cute little stick figures of the three of them holding hands. But there was another thing that stood out to her the most, it was written in big bold words.

Marcy Wu, will you go to prom with us?

"Marcy Wu, will you go to prom with us....?" They asked at the same time.

Marcy fought for her life to suppress the idiotic grin that was forming on her face. She then felt a familiar heat rush to her cheeks as she opened her mouth.

"Yes!" Marcy accepted.

The whole lunchroom then erupted into cheers and screams as Marcy pulled the two girls into a bone crushing hug.

Marcy was loving every minute of the embrace. She'd never thought they'd want to go to the dance with someone like her. It made her want to scream in excitement and jump up and down.

......It was 6pm, about time for Marcy to leave and head to the school for the 8th grade formal. Marcy grinned at her reflection as she stared in the mirror at the shiny pearls in her hair. Her hair was tied back into a small bun. Her hair had grown over time when she was possessed by the core but it still wasn't long enough to go up or down in a bun so she had to add some extensions. She was wearing a lander dress with a ruffled turtle neck and a silk collar with a pink leaf printed on it. She also had a see-through scarf handing around her arms and light pink seashell earrings.

(For anyone who can't imagine things well)

Pretty right..?

She also wore a bit of makeup. After she had gotten out of the shower she put a bit of mascara on and added some lipgloss. She enjoyed being complimented by Sasha and Anne so she sprayed some peach scented perfume for the night.

She played with her bangs a bit before walking away from her vanity.

...

She had took a cab that her mother called for her. Yes, her and Sasha live together. But Sasha left way earlier than Marcy so that they wouldn't see each other's dresses, they wanted it to be a surprise.

Once Marcy arrived to her destination, she opened the car door. She once she exited the car she looked up and was met with a bunch of students screaming and shouting at Marcy's dress. Yes, they had this reaction for everyone's dress.

Marcy had gotten way more liked in school ever since she started to be more open with her sexuality. Sasha, the blonde and rich white girl, became even more popular ever since she came out as bisexual. The girls have been all over her. And Anne? She's a lesbian, she always had girls coming up to her and complimenting her on her beauty.

Let's just say the school they were attending was kinda... judgmental. They liked when you read the room, when you were more like them. I guess the three of them being open with their sexualities at school inspired others to do the same.

The only reason Marcy was open with her sexuality at school instead of with her father is because she knew how he'd react. School? No problem! They're just teens that'll insult you and then move on with their lives. But her father? Oh no he was scary.

But oh well, fuck him. He was probably a closeted gay that liked dick up his ass.

Marcy fought for her life to suppress the idiotic grin threatening to form on her face. Let's just say that attempt was a fail. Marcy felt a familiar heat rise up to her cheeks at the reaction of the students.

But of all students, two specific girls caught her eye.

Sasha and Anne.

She slowly walked down the hallway to where they were standing, once she approached them, she looked both of them up and down. They both looked drop dead gorgeous. Marcy didn't even realize she was staring for that long until she saw familiar fingers snapping in front of her face.

"Hey, marbles.. You good?" Anne asked, concerned.

"Uh- Oh.. yes! I'm perfectly fine! It just feels a little hot in here." Marcy assured.

"Uh, okay? Whatever you say mar-mar. Anyways, did you guys see where we're going to be dancing? It had so much food and pretty lights!" Sasha exclaimed.

"There's.... FOOD!? Marcy, did you hear that just now!? We gotta go, let's check out that food!" Anne shouted.

"Yeah I agree! Let's get outta here scoob!" Marcy took hold of Anne's hand and sped off with her to where the food was.

Sasha stood in the middle of the hallway while chuckling at the other two girls excitement. She then began to walk down the hallway to where they went.

......

Marcy and Anne downed a bunch of junk food and jumped up and down as the background music played. Marcy was overall having a good time, the students were happy, they were nice to her, and Heather wasn't there.

If Heather was there, she'd probably spill koolaid on her dress or something.

Maggie wasn't too annoying either, she also looked like she was having a good time. Good for her.

To be honest, Marcy had thought Maggie had a thing for Anne.

It was obvious, she was nice to everyone but always made Anne her target. She was always rude to Anne, always pulled pranks on her and made fun of her looks. She also always ate most of the food that Anne took a bite out of, probably looking for an indirect kiss. Plus, she'd blush whenever Anne was defending herself and got a little too close to her.

But oh well, Maggie was a very sweet person and if Marcy had the chance to be her friend and get to know her, she would. She just needs to find a better way to express her feelings to people other than bullying.

Marcy turned her head to see Sasha walk through the door, she looked so pretty...

She was wearing a shiny rose gold v-neck dress with ruffled layers. Her hair was braided into a curled half-up half-down style with a flower hair pin in the front of her hair.

(An example of what it's supposed to look like)

Anne was wearing a blue sparkly shoulder-sleeved dress with a slit at the leg. She had her hair down with two small braids in the front to complete the look. She also had some rose gold heart shaped earrings in her ears.

It was...

Way too extra.

But who gives a shit? Like I said, this is the calamity trio we're talking about.

"Hey Sash! Are you having a good time?" Marcy asked, meanwhile Anne was in the background still downing all the snacks.

"Everything's fine. I'm having a very good time with you guys. I don't know what I would have done if me and Anne pussied out and didn't ask you to attend the dance with us." Sasha chuckled.

"Haha! Yeah, I know how that feels. I did the same thing when I was too afraid to tell you that I was the one that got you guys stuck in amphibia!" Marcy responded.

"Yeah, after all those adventures in amphibia I would have been scared of everything. I even would have been scared if sacrificing myself and having my body cloned!" Sasha said.

"That most definitely would cause some existential dread later on." Sasha rubbed the back of her neck as she looked Marcy in her eyes.

Her eyes then wandered to the person behind Marcy. Anne, was in her own little world just focusing on snacks and juice.

"Uh... Is she okay?" Sasha asked.

"Yeah she's fine, she just hasn't had good snacks like this in a while. Whenever she had something she really likes, she specifies it as 'bussin.'" Marcy facepalmed.

"Heh, you can tell she's been on the internet for a long while if she started picking up the slang." Sasha sighed, while grinning.

Marcy turned her head to look back at Anne. "Uh, Anna-banana? Earth to Anne!" Marcy waved.

Anne flinched at the sudden hand waving in front of her face while she was eating. "Oh! Sorry, I was too busy eating all these snacks! I know I'll never get another chance like this so I'm making the most of it." Anne said, sentence muffle by the food in her mouth.

"Well, if you ever decide you wanna get married to someone you're in love with, then maybe you will get another chance like this." Sasha smirked, while raising her eyebrows up and down.

Anne's cheeks turned a dark tint of red at the sentence. Marcy raised an eyebrow and looked at the two girls in confusion. All Marcy's worried were wiped away when slow and calming music began to play. Every students position shifted into a pose where the taller person wrapped one arm around the shorter persons waist and used their unoccupied arm to take hold of the shorter persons hand.

A slow dance.

Sasha stepped back from the two a bit, and then bowed down elegantly. She looked up at them while bowing down and held out a hand for them.

"Would you two pretty ladies like this dance..?"

The two girls chuckled. "Sure, I would love too." Marcy accepted.

"Me too, but I also think it would be a bit strange considering we're three people." Anne placed four fingers over her mouth while she giggled.

"It's fine, as long as we're happy." Sasha smiled.

Marcy took the hand that Sasha held out for her. Sasha then held out another hand and Anne took that one.

Once they got to where everyone was dancing, the three of them wrapped their arms around each other's waists and began slowly swaying in circles to the rhythm of the music.

While they were dancing, Marcy stared into Anne's, then Sasha's eyes before resting her head on Sasha's chest while the three of them moved their feet.

Everything felt amazing. The atmosphere, the kind students, the food, and her two crushes standing by her side. If she had the chance to be with them for every day of her life, she would.

That's just how much she loved them.

...

Marcy had started to feel a little sick after eating so many snacks and dancing so much. So she sat in a nearby empty classroom with a few chairs. It was calm and quiet, just the kind of space she enjoyed. Usually she'd go to her house but her mother laughs too loud at comedy shows. She'd also go to Anne's house but Sprig....

Eh.

Marcy heard the doorway, she looked up to see two girls standing in the doorway staring at her with small smiles on their faces.

"Hey Marce, are you doing okay?" Sasha gently asked, pulling a nearby chair next to Marcy's and sitting down.

Anne then also grabbed a nearby chair and pulled it next to Marcy. "I'm fine, just feel a little sick that's all. I got a little too carried away with dancing. I hate dancing a lot but those snacks and k-pop songs made me go crazy!" Marcy said, waving her arms in the air.

Sasha let out a small chuckle before leaning her head on Marcy's shoulder before gently shutting her eyes. Anne placed a small peck on the drowsy girls cheek before also leaning her head on her shoulder.

"Did you have a good time tonight?" Anne asked, grabbing hold of Marcy's hand and repeatedly placing small kisses onto it.

"Anne that's kinda..." Sasha started.

"Hey! I have on socks, it's not gay if you have socks on." Anne joked

Marcy let out a tired chuckled before opening her mouth to say something in response. "Yes, I had an amazing time. I wouldn't have had a good time without you guys, I thank you very much." Marcy thanked.

"Hm, no need to thank us. I'm happy we could provide you with a good time today." Sasha said.

'Hm, Sasha isn't like she used to be, at all. She's more gentle, patient, and understanding. The sassiness is still there but that evil and manipulative glint that used to be in her eyes have been replaced with a more tender and comforting look.' Anne thought.

'I'm glad we all changed. My time in amphibia taught me that were all changing and improving and learning as we go. Every time I found an obstacle, I found a way to overcome it. I thought Sash and Marcy would be stuck in their old ways, but they proved me wrong and our friendship got stronger. And wartwood, the oldest fashioned, least accepting place, ended up accepting me as one of their own.'

'Change can be difficult, but it's how we grow. It can be the hardest thing, to realize you can't hold onto something forever. Sometimes you have to let it go. But of the things you let go, you'd be surprised what makes its way back to you.'
