And three THANK YOU ALL SOOOOO MUCH FOR ALL THE VOTES COMMENTS AND SUPPORT WITH THIS FANFIC OVER 2,000 people have read it and honestly I didn't think I was gonna get more than maybe 400 so thank you and let's get on with the story.

Maka's pov

Soul and I had just walked into our Math class and sat down.

"Ugh this is soooo boring." Soul whined

"Oh come on. It's only an hour." I smiled.

We sat for a little while longer then the PA system started beeping loudly and I had no Idea why.

"Attention DWMA students this is not I repeat not a drill! There is an intruder on campus lock down immediately!"

Our class was close to the attacks so we immediately barricaded the doors and windows the weapons transformed and we were told to sit on the ground out of sight.

I was having a mental breakdown and freaking out of course like everyone else. Soul transformed and hugged me.

"It's ok Maka I'll protect you."

I hugged him back and we hid until the PA came on again.

"Thank you students the intruder is gone."

The school sent everyone home early for safety precautions.

"You ok Maka?"

"No."

"Why?"

"We were all sitting there hopelessly what if the intruder did get in we would've had to kill them!"

"But we kill Kishins all the time?"

"That's different. Don't worry about it."

For the rest of the night I couldn't stop thinking about it I mean I couldn't have protected myself.

It was about 10:30 Soul was asleep Blair was asleep and I was paranoid.

Knock knock

It sounded like the same knocks the intruder did on the classroom door I hid under my covers and started to panic. Then a complete mental breakdown. The door creaked open and a small light turned on.

"Maka?"

I heard the familiar voice and peeked out from under the covers

"Soul? What are you doing its 11:00?"

"I had a feeling you weren't doing so good, so I came to comfort you."

He turned off the light and crawled under the covers with me he wrapped his arms around me and I finally felt safe.

"I will always protect you Maka."
