Chapter nine: Party time

Friday finally rolled around. Sophie had been eating three small portioned meals a day and her parents couldn't be happier. It had become sort of routine for Sophie to come by for breakfast with the Baker's so that Jordan could make sure she ate her whole bowl of cereal then she'd get a ride with Olivia to school. It was lunchtime, Sophie had a bento box from sushi day at the school. She had finished most of it to her surprise, all that was left was a gyoza "Eat it." Jordan said "I'm so full." Sophie said "Eat it. It the gyoza." he said "No!" she said "Eat it! Come on just eat it! There's literally only one left." he said with a smile as he used his chopsticks and picked up the gyoza and put it up to her lips "No!" she said with a smile, that's when Jordan shoved the gyoza into her mouth, then threw his chopsticks on the table and put his hand in front of her mouth "Now chew." he said "Mm-mm." Sophie said shaking her head "Chew." he said "Or I'll tickle you." he said "I'll choke." she said as she swatted his hand away but chew the last gyoza, they both turned to the table full of their friends watching them with a mix of confused and surprise on their faces, Sophie and Jordan looked at each other and smiled "All right listen up party people! Party at my place tonight!" JJ said, everyone at the table cheered, then JJ got on his phone and sent out a snapchat on his story announcing the party at his house "Your coming right?" Jordan asked "I don't know." Sophie said with a shrug "No Sophie come on you have to come!" JJ said, just then the bell rang "I'll think about it JJ." Sophie said as they all headed to the trash to throw their food away "Okay, that's all I ask." he said as him and Asher headed in one direction to their next class. "Come to the party." Spencer said "Yeah? Are they still as crazy as I remember?" she asked "Probably crazier." he said "So Spence your going?" Jordan asked "Yeah I wanna stop at home real quick, check on my mom and Dillon." he said "Okay well I can pick you up." Jordan said "Appreciate it man." Spencer said as they did a bro hug "See y'all later." Spencer said as he headed to his next class "Come tonight and stay for a hour then if you don't feel like staying I'll drive you home myself." he said "But won't you be drinking?" I asked "I won't if you come." he said, she looked at him and sighed while nodding her head "Okay, I'll come." she said 

Sophie's P.O.V:

After school, I drove home and headed to my room to get ready for the party, I decided to wear this

And did I my hair like this

And my makeup like this

Once I was done getting ready I got a text from Jordan telling me he was outside, I grabbed my black Gucci bag and headed out to the car, I smiled as I got in "Hey." I said "Hi. You look great." he said "Thanks, you don't look to bad yourself." I said "Where's Spencer?" I asked "We have to go pick him up." Jordan said "Okay." I said, we drove to Crenshaw, it was different that Beverly Hills and it shocked me to think how Crenshaw was so close to Beverly but most people wouldn't even know because they don't go outside of Beverly. Soon we pulled up to a small house. Jordan parked the car and we both got out, I stayed close to him as we walked up the three steps and knocked on the door a woman who looked a lot like Spencer opened the door, this must be his mom, I though "Hi Jordan." she said as she let us in "Hey Grace." Jordan said "This is Sophie, Sophie this is Grace James, Spencer's mom." I smiled at her "Nice to meet you." I said "You too." she said "Mom have you seen my comic book?" A little boy asked as he ran out from a room in the back of the house "Hey Jordan." he said giving him a fist bump "Hey Dillon how you doing?" he asked "Good." Dillon said shrugging "I'm Sophie." I said to him "Hi." he said, just then the front door opened and in walked Spencer followed by someone else "Hey guys." Spencer said "Hey." I said "Hey. You ready?" Jordan asked "Yeah." he said nodding his head "Darnell you wanna come?" Jordan asked "Yeah sure." the guy named Darnell said "Okay well you kids be safe. Sophie it was nice meeting you." she said "You too." I said before walking out of the house. We all got into the car and drove back to Beverly to Jay Jay's house were the party was already in full swing.
