Twenty eight

"I can't believe you're dancing." Piper held a rather mocking smile, as she and Yoongi swayed to music.

He chuckled glancing away from her, before meeting her eyes.

"I'm dancing with you." He nodded.

They both held eye contact before she glanced away, her cheeks blushing a little.

"I hope this never changes." He chuckled, tightening his grip a little around her waist.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"...You blushing when you're nervous. It's cute." He chuckled, as Piper rolled her eyes.

"Ahem, you're just as bad!" Piper then widened her eyes, before she sighed. Yoongi nodded at her statement, before he leaned down and planted a soft kiss on her forehead.

"Thank you. For being my date tonight." Piper told him quietly, as she closed over her eyes for a brief moment. When she opened them again, Yoongi was looking at her a little quizzical.

He frowned. "Why wouldn't I be? You're my girl...course I'd be here with you."

Piper couldn't help but grin at his words.

"I'm still trying to process that to be honest..." She admitted, scoffing a little as she glanced around the room.

"Me too." Yoongi nodded. He then let out a long sigh, before clearing his throat. "I still can't really believe it, but when I remember everyday..." He then glanced up, shaking his head.

"God, that bad huh?" Piper joked.

The two of them stared at each other, narrowing their eyes before they laughed.

"No one was really surprised how fast we made it official...well you." She smirked.

"Why would I waste more time? We've known each other for years." He chuckled, pulling her in closer to him. "I'd rather not let you go." He lowered his voice, as Piper smiled at him.

"Are we going home tonight, or can we book rooms here?" He then asked her.

Piper looked at him as she widened her eyes a little.

A mischievous smile crept onto his lips, as he avoided looking at her.

"Heh, you're taking me home, Romeo." Piper narrowed her eyes as she pushed him a little before she scoffed.

"I'm taking you home? Are your parents out?" He then chanced.

"Yoongi!" Piper's face flushed as she pushed him again."Who are you and what have you done - " She stopped short as she looked over his face.

"You're such a tease." She then rolled her eyes.

The both of them laughed.

"Come here." He pulled her in and wrapped his arms around her, before propping his chin on top of her head. He glanced around at everyone before his smile faltered a little.

"What were you going to say earlier?" Piper asked.

"Huh?"

"Earlier. You were going to tell me something, but we got rudely interrupted." She joked, as she spoke into his chest. She glanced up at him and smiled.

"Oh. Uh...I guess I forgot. It'll come back to me." He lied, stretching a small smile across his lips. 

They both held each other as they swayed along to the music. Piper couldn't contain her smile as she done so before someone made her jump.

"Look at you two!" Naomi giggled, with a wide grin spread across her face.

"Ach, Mimi - " Yoongi sighed as he looked at his sister. 

"Wait a minute - " She told them, holding up her phone. "This is too cute to pass up." She nodded before snapping a photo. She tapped around on her phone before putting it into her purse.

"Where is your date? Scared him off already?" Yoongi joked as he loosened his grip a little around Piper.

"Yeah, to the bathroom." Naomi widened her eyes. 

It was nice to see nothing had changed between the two of them either over the past few months...

"Do you think we could rent a room here tonight?" Naomi then asked.

"Huh? Why?" Piper perked up. 

"It's so lovely here, I want to stay longer..." 

"I think we should go home later." Piper smiled and nodded. 

"But it's a hotel, we can - "

"You're going home, Naomi. You're not staying out in a hotel." Yoongi told her, more stern.

"I'd be with Namjoon." She stated the obvious.

"I know." He widened his eyes. "I couldn't care if you were with a king, you're coming home." 

Big brother mode, activated.

Piper giggled a little as she pressed her cheek into Yoongi's chest. 

"He is a king." Naomi muttered under her breath. "Thanks for backing me up." She then rolled her eyes at Piper, before smiling. 

"I am not getting involved." Piper simply told her. "...Besides, if Namjoon wants to keep you all to himself, maybe he should've asked permission himself." 

Yoongi and Naomi both frowned at her, both looking equally offended. 

"That's not happening." 

"What are you talking about?!" 

Both siblings butted in together, which made Piper laugh. 

"Ugh. You're so embarrassing. Both of you. He's officially turning you into him." Naomi shook her head, before folding her arms. 

Namjoon soon found them, with a wide smile on his face.

"If you wanted to steal Mimi for the night, perhaps talking it out with her bodyguard first?" Piper threw more salt in the wound.

"Huh?" He looked around, confusion growing on his face.

Suddenly Naomi's face went bright pink, as silence fell between the four of them. Yoongi began to laugh quietly as he shook his head.

"Aw it wasn't his idea, shorty!" He squeezed Piper. 

"Both of you. Banned from my life." Naomi quietly told them, closing over her eyes. 

"Wait, what is happening?" Namjoon cautiously asked, as he began to laugh a little nervously. 

"Tell you what, why don't you two...enjoy the rest of the night together. Prom finishes at nine? Your curfew is midnight." Yoongi pointed towards his sister. 

"Oh my god." Naomi cursed out as she turned around and walked away.

"She'll be fine!" Piper giggled, waving Namjoon off.

Both Yoongi and Piper glanced at each other as they shared a laugh.

"I do think we're worse together." He grinned.

"So much worse." Piper giggled, before she stood on her toes and pecked his lips.

He stood, taken a back a little before his eyes softened on hers.
