"Wow~" Chungha breathed down the phone to Sana on the other end. "Your negotiation – or should I say persuasive – skills are incredible...how did you even get my Dad to let me go?"

Sana chuckled at the other end. "Well, I've had lots of practice, so..."

"Anyways," Chungha said with a smile. "Let me finish packing. This is gonna be lit!"

Sana nodded with a wide grin even though Chungha couldn't see her. "You got that right!"

.

.

"Hurry up bishes!" Sana yelled at Chungha and Seulgi who were walking and talking slowly on their way into the minivan.

They rolled their eyes at her, but picked up the pace nevertheless.

Sana was dressed in this:

She'd done her hair like this:

To which Jun had already called her cute about fifteen times.

They set off with the windows down and music blasting after Sana input the location in the GPS. Seulgi sat up front with Jinyoung, who was driving, because she did get a little carsick sometimes and so the large windscreen helped with that. Jaebum watched the two chatting and Seulgi blushing every few minutes and tucking her hair behind her ear. His expression was bitter as he looked from one to the other, then out of the window. Jinyoung was his best friend, but...he sighed and shook his head.

At the back, Chungha was patiently teaching Hoshi how to play a game. So far, he was absolutely terrible at it.

"No, Hosh," she said again. "You have to press it when it reaches the green bit, alright?"

Hoshi nodded, tried again and failed. Chungha just chuckled when he looked up at her grumpily.

"Aigoo~," she cooed, squishing his cheeks and making him grin. "Don't worry, you'll get it eventually."

Meanwhile, Jun was annoying Sana in the middle row. JB wasn't talking to him since he was sulking about the situation up front, so he switched his target to Sana, who was now attempting to strangle him for about the seventeenth time since she'd first got to know him.

"Do you ever shut up?" she asked him exasperated, after he'd talked 30 minutes straight about turtles and why they would be the ultimate weapon if some kind of strange alien apocalypse began.

"You already know I do not possess an off button," he replied with a smirk. However, he quietened down after that.

A few seconds later, she felt his fingers curl around hers and she gladly squeezed his hand back.

They two had not told their friends that they'd started seeing each other, but their friends had lingering suspicions that there was certainly something going on between the two of them, right from when Jun had enrolled in the school.

Jun got out his phone with his other hand and began texting. Sana soon felt her phone buzz in her pocket and she looked at Jun quizzically. He was grinning strangely at her.

🏄🏻‍♂️Wen Jun Eats🏀🍜: When we get there, I want to talk to you...

Alone... 😏😏🤫🤫🤫

🍭🍩Sana🍩🍭: Reason??

🏄🏻‍♂️Wen Jun Eats🏀🍜: You'll see...

Sana glanced back at him and rolled her eyes, but he just smiled at her.

"Yoo! What the heck?!" Hoshi exclaimed excitedly. "A lakehouse?!!" JB whistled softly beside him in awe.

"It's my parents'," Sana said, lifting her bag out of the boot. She stood on her toes to shut it. "It's not ancient; there's running water and heating and a TV and stuff. For now, make yourselves at home!"

"Race you to the house!" Hoshi yelled and five of them set off at a run towards the house, kicking up dirt and yelling as they went.

Jun seized the opportunity to drag Sana behind the van where they couldn't be seen. He pushed her against the vehicle and snaked his arms around her waist, and leaning down to kiss her. She rolled her eyes, but kissed him back anyway and lightly punched his chest when they parted.

"Was that want you wanted to 'talk' about?" she asked him sarcastically, wiping the traces of her lip gloss off his lips.

Jun chuckled, his arms still around her and his eyes scanning her face. "It's just that my girlfriend looks so irresistible today..." he mumbled with a half-smile. "I couldn't help it."

"Eyy~" Sana complained, embarrassed from his cringey lines.

"Why?" Jun protested with a raised eyebrow. "Is it illegal for me to kiss my girlfriend?" He leaned in for another kiss but Sana blocked him with her fingers.

"What did you actually want to talk about?" she asked him, smiling at the disappointed look on his face.

He clicked his tongue and said, "You know Seulgi likes Jinyoung, right?" Sana stared at him, wide-eyed. The only other person who knew about that apart from Seulgi herself was Sana.

"How did you know?" she asked her boyfriend, surprised. He shrugged. "I can just kinda tell..." he answered, looking at the wooden house over the top of the van. "But Jinyoung likes Jisoo, doesn't he?"

Sana cocked her head at him, then nodded. "I did kinda notice something," she said. "So?"

"Well, JB likes Seulgi..." Jun began and trailed off.

"What are you trying to say, Jun?" she asked him, putting the pieces together. "That we should set JB and Seulgi up because it's likely Jinyoung will reject her?"

Jun smiled at her. "I love that my girlfriend is so smart," he said in admiration. Sana rolled her eyes, but her grin gave her away. Sana nodded and said, "I have some ideas..."

At the sound of footsteps, they broke apart and busied themselves with checking whether they'd left anything in the boot.

.

.

"Yo, Sana, there aren't enough beds in each room...we're two beds short." Jinyoung said when she walked into the house. Putting on a surprised expression, she replied, "Really? I presumed there'd be as many as we were...I must have forgotten; it's been a while since my family came over here."

Jinyoung sighed. "Well now what?"

Sana's eyes sparkled and she showed him a half-smile. "I have just the thing..."

"Whoever loses MUST sleep outside in the tent tonight. No excuses, no complaining, no swaps, no second chances; that's what makes the game fun, alright?" Sana said. Everyone agreed, determination to not get selected to sleep outside written across each face.

"Okay, everyone...gawi, bawi, bo!" Sana shouted. A draw. "Gawi, bawi, bo!" She shouted again.  Shrieks of relief erupted from Chungha and Jinyoung's mouths. They had played scissors when everyone else had gone with paper.

The last two people left would have to take the tent.

"Gawi, bawi bo!" Sana exclaimed, and she, Jun and Hoshi yelled excitedly as they'd played paper when Seulgi and JB had played rock.

The latter groaned in response. "Welp." Sana said with a cocky grin. "I guess it's you guys then..."

Seulgi and JB glanced at each other. "But can't you just—"

"Uh, no~ We said no excuses, no complaining and NO second chances." Sana said. "You can use everything indoors, but for sleeping, it will have to be out here."

Seulgi raised a fist at Sana, but the latter simply shrugged.

"Rules are rules."
