Chapter 27

"No.." I stand up and walk away, towards the exit to the school, someone's hand grips my shoulder. I turn to see Ein, I start to panic. "E-Ein... what a-are you doing!?" "Are you going to skip?" He says calmly."Y-Yeah, w-why do you c-care?" I stutter, I try to move my shoulder from his grasp. "Because it's not a good thing to do." He says almost empty, I reach for his hand. He slaps it away and tightens his grip."Hey, let her go!" I hear a voice yells at Ein, Ein smirks."What are you going to do about it?" He laughs, I look over to see Gene."G-Gene..." I mutter, I feel like my shoulder was going to break. Ein pushes me against the lockers... hard, I let out a small whimper on impact. Gene walks closer and his expression was pure rage, his eyes were a deep red. Ein released my shoulder, I fall to the ground. Then he runs off, Gene helps me up and smiles... his eyes were normal.

"Are you okay?" Gene looks at me with kind eyes, I nod holding my shoulder. "Do you wanna skip?" I nod again. We walk outside and to the park, Sasha runs up to me and smiles."Are you and Travis-" I sigh and nod, she smiles a bit bigger. "I know I don't do the whole shipping thing but if I had to it would be you and Travis." She walks back over to the tree she was previously sitting at and sits down.

"Have you been dealing with that all day?" Gene turns and asks me."...Yes." I sigh and continue to hold my shoulder."I feel bad, must be a nightmare." He says sitting down near the stream, I sit next to him."Definitely!" I agree."Where was Travis when Ein attacked you?" He asks turning to me."Probably eating with Aph, why?" I look back at the stream."I don't know maybe because... he should be saving you, not me!" He yells concerned."I would of been fine... I'm use-" I cut myself off before I said too much."I'm what, (Y/N)!?" I start to panic."N-nothing... never mind!!" I stutter, I quickly stand up and walk over to another tree when I see a cop. "Gene!" I yell."Yeah!?" He yells back."Cop!" I yell again I little more worried."Shit! Come on, we gotta go!!" He yells and we all start running.
