You are my salvation
23:36, 26 September 2025“Come here.”
His voice cut through the silence, low and sensuous, filling every corner of the room. He sat on the edge of the bed, a bathrobe hanging loose around his shoulders. I lingered in the corner, my back pressed against the wall, trying to steady my breath. The heavy scent of his shampoo and aftershave drifted toward me, teasing, intoxicating, impossible to ignore.
Those eyes, calm like the sea but filled with a yearning storm, held me captive. They were longing, desperate, yet unwavering. For me. Only for me. Droplets of water slid from his damp hair, tracing the lines of his broad shoulders and disappearing beneath the robe.
“Will you come here yourself, or should I come to you?”
He leaned forward slightly, eyes dark with seduction.
I can’t escape. Wherever I go, those eyes will follow me.
“Jeon Jungkook, I have a shoot tomorrow,” I said, trying to keep my tone firm while my gaze wavered.
“Are you sure, hyung?” His voice softened, almost teasing, as he plucked a red rose from the vase and caught the stem between his teeth. The absurdity of it should have made me laugh, but the way he looked at me made my knees weak.
He’s trying to seduce you, Kim Taehyung. Don’t fall for it.
No one knew the truth. Jeon Jungkook, the untouchable business tycoon ruling the sports world at twenty-three, the angel adored by thousands of girls, was just a relentless man who chased me like this.
“So what if I follow you around?” he scoffed. In one swift motion, he rose from the bed. His strides were small but deliberate, each step closing the gap between us. I retreated until the wall caught me, heart racing, breath shallow. He leaned close, so close his warmth pressed into me before he even touched me.
“Jungkook-ah, I really have to shoot tomorrow,” I whispered, staring up into that impossibly handsome face.
He slid the rose from his lips and dragged it gently over my cheek, down to the hollow of my throat, tracing my pulse. My body betrayed me, melting under his touch.
“I missed you,” he breathed, voice breaking with honesty. “Your scent. Your hands. Hyung, why did you take so long?” His face pressed into my neck, his breaths hot and uneven, arms locking me against him as if letting go would mean losing me forever.
“Kookie, I’m here now. I’m sorry it took so long on set. I—”
Before the words could leave me, his hands tightened around my waist. The next thing I knew, I was thrown onto the bed, the mattress sinking beneath me.
“Why are you acting like a rabbit in mating season?” I tried to joke, but my laugh was swallowed by his lips crashing against mine.
His kiss was wild, hungry, desperate. Soft and moist yet demanding, his lips consumed mine as though nothing else in the world existed. His warmth seeped into me with every brush of his breath. I tangled my fingers into his damp hair, pulling him closer, rolling him beneath me. This boy. This man. The one I loved.
But Jungkook was never one to surrender. He flipped me back in an instant, impatience written in every hurried movement. His hands fumbled at the buttons of my shirt, pulling them apart with raw urgency. His lips descended to my chest, leaving a burning trail wherever they touched. Each kiss sent shivers shooting through me, my body betraying me with a moan.
“Don’t hold it back, hyung. Call my name.” His voice cracked against my ear as his body moved with mine. His teeth grazed my earlobe before he let out a soft, shuddering moan of his own.
“Say it. Who am I?” His lips brushed my shoulder, his hands clasping mine tightly, grounding me, claiming me.
“Jungkook… ahhh! Aahhh!”
The lamplight cast shadows across his face, highlighting the sharp lines of his jaw and the softness of his youth. He looked like a boy still, but also like something godly, a vision carved from the sea itself.
“Hyung, it’s gonna…” His voice faltered, breaking into uneven gasps. He pressed one last desperate kiss to my forehead, then collapsed beside me, pulling the blanket over us both as the room grew quiet again.
“Hyung,” he whispered, eyes fixed on the glow-in-the-dark stars above the ceiling. “I love you. And with each passing day it only grows stronger. I can’t control it anymore. Hyung, what spell have you cast on me?”
I let out a soft laugh, curling onto my side. “Learned it from Tom Riddle’s mother. Not gonna tell you. Now, let me sleep.”
I love you, Kookie. More than anything or anyone in this world. You complete me. You are the light I prayed for. Don’t ever leave me.
The words slipped from my lips like a prayer as sleep tugged me under. Jungkook’s arm circled my waist from behind, his warmth cocooning me.
This, right here, was the safest place in the world. You are my salvation, Jeon Jungkook.
