Elena's POV

I walk over to Oscar's place so I can ask Cesar about orientation. Gabby had stayed behind taking care of Mia. Oscar had left an hour after we got home to change into new clothes.

"Yo Lena!" Javie yells as he sees me walking to the house.

"What are you guys doing here so early?" I ask.

Omar was already drinking at 11am.

"This is home. We're always here." Omar smiles.

"Where's Tito?" I ask.

"Probably at Kari's." Omar says taking a drink from his beer. "He's been pussy wiped"

I roll my eyes.

"Javie and Oscar too." Javie gives him a look and shakes his head.

"Is Cesar home?" I ask. Javie nods his head as he takes a hit off his blunt.

I walk inside and see Cesar sitting in the kitchen table eating his cereal. He looks up and smiles at me.

"Good morning Lena, Oscar is in the shower if you're looking for him." He says.

I shake my head.

"I came here for you actually. Do you know when orientation is?" I ask.

"I believe Monday. Why?" He asks confused.

"Well my cousin Gabby is staying with me. I need to enroll her into high school." I say.

"Oh that's great!" He says excited. "Well if you want she can go with us."

"You sure? I don't mind going to that shit hole." I joke.

"I'm positive, we'll take care of her, don't worry." He smiles.

"Gracias Cesar." I smile.

"De nada." He says.

I feel strong arms wrap around my waist. I turn around and see Oscar standing there in just a towel.

"I'm gonna go finish this in my room." Cesar whispers as he get up from the table.

I laugh, smacking Oscar in the chest.

"I knew you were here." He says giving me a kiss. "I want to take you out tonight."

"Tonight?" I ask surprised.

"Yes, there's a carnival going on. We could go, Dalia or your dad can take care of Mia and we can spend the night together here." He smiles.

"Oooh, i like that idea." I say kissing him. "I'm gonna go get ready then, what time should I be ready by?"

"I'll pick you up at 7." He smiles and I nod.

"Bebe." I laugh as I see Oscar's face and how pissed he looked that Cesar, Jamal and Gabby came with us.

It was only going to be us tonight but since Cesar wanted to meet Gabby they decided to tag along.

"What?" He asks, sounding mad.

"Don't be mad." I say. "We're gonna go our own way and so will they."

He doesn't say anything.

After a few minutes of driving. We get to the carnival. I get out of the car and push the seat forward so the kids can come out. Oscar stays seated and I lean forward.

"You coming out of what?" I ask.

"We're going to eat, just me and you." He says.

"What happened to the carnival?" I ask confused. The kids were waiting for us.

"We're skipping it. Come on." He says.

I turn around and smile at them.

"We'll pick you guys up later, okay?" I say and they nod confused. "Gabby, here's some money in case you want to get in the rides or want something, okay?" I give Gabby some money as she thanks me.

"Stay outta trouble you guys." I warm them before leaving.
