ranting

20:21, 5 May 2021

It was a bright sunny afternoon, the birds were chirping, the trees were waving and everything was totally calm.

"I CANT BELIEVE THEY DECLINED MY MESSAGE!"

It was rare that the avengers would have to gather for a team meeting, especially nowadays but after Tony called an emergency gathering all of the avengers turned up immediately in panic.

"I-I don't understand." Scott murmurs to Hope who shrugs and looks to Natasha.

"Who and what are you talking about?" Natasha asks with a perfectly raised brow.

Tony makes a frustrated noise before slamming his phone onto the table and tapping a few buttons. A moment later, a blue hologram of his phone screen appeared in the air and the avengers watched on impatiently and confused.

"Revengersxoxo, the meme account that releases fucked up funny photos of us. I wanted some blackmail and they invited me to message them." Tony explains briefly.

The avengers share looks.

"And you are mad because?" Rocket drags out.

"I'm mad because the declined my message!" Tony whined.

"You sound like a child." Steve comments making Tony flip him the bird.

Vision pauses before tilting his head. "Why haven't you hacked them yet?"

"What does he mean by yet? I don't hack everyone." Tony trails off making the rest of the avengers raise their eyebrows at him.

"Anyway, I can't. They have advanced coding locking their account, it's incredibly amazing yet really fucking annoying!"

"Language." Steve reminds him.

The avengers share looks before each and everyone one of them leave.

"Guys! Where are you going?!"

"Elsewhere, we thought this was a life or death situation." Nebula grits her teeth annoyed.

"But this is!"

The team of hero's scoffed before leaving.

"I'm still here!"

Tony spun around and dramatically shoved his hand to his heart.

"Peter where did you come from?!"

Peter looks around confusedly. "Uh, the door?"

Meanwhile Madelyn was absolutely freaking out. She had just gotten a text from a certain someone and was incredibly excited but scared.

The text message read: 𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒑 𝒄𝒂𝒇𝒆, 7𝒑𝒎.

from 𝒍𝒐𝒌𝒊.

She had warned Peter five minutes ago and he seemed fine with the idea of her meeting with Loki.

Why was he fine with it and she was freaking out?

"DAD!"

Damien Black ran up the stairs and shoved open his daughters bedroom to find her fine and healthy sitting on her bed.

"Homeslice, you can't give me a heart attack like that!"

"I told you not to call me that dad." Madelyn scowled but her father could see her lips twitching a little.

"What's the problem?"

"I'm supposed to be meeting my new soulmate at a café at 7pm." Madelyn purposefully left out his name in order not to start a fight. She knew her father really wasn't fond of 'villains' especially the one who took over New York a while ago. Although they didn't live there, he didn't like the idea of Madelyn not feeling secure and safe in their new area.

"And?" Damien eyed her confused.

"And I'm freaking out!" Damien slowly took a step back from his daughter as she jumped up and started pacing around her room.

"What would I wear?"

"Clothes?"

"How do I get there?"

"I can drive you."

"What if he doesn't like me?"

"Haven't you met him before-"

"What if I choke on my food?"

"Well I guess that would be rather unfortunate."

"What if I fall off of my chair or get my period or get too bloated or-"

Madelyn looked up to see her father no longer in the room.

"DAD!"

Peter smirked ominously as Tony stared at his computer typing in various different codes to try and open the account.

"I don't think you will be able to open it." Peter said with a smug grin.

Tony growled frustratedly before suddenly a glassy glint shone in his eyes. He turned around with a grin making Peter frown.

"But you might." Tony started pushing Peter down into the chair.

"But Mr Stark you are smarter than me-"

"It's better to get a new perspective."

"You make no sense-"

"Just try open the damn thing."

"What am I going to wear!" Loki cried out to his brother who watched on with an amused smile.

"What you always wear."

Loki turned to Thor with an unimpressed expression."You must be joking, I cannot show up in my suit or Asgardian armour."

"Sure you can! She liked you here whilst you were totally evil, I'm sure she won't care about how you dress!"

Loki glared at his brother with pure hatred.

"That's it I'm not going."

<>

"This is a travesty!"

Damien rolled his eyes at his teenage daughter who seemed hellbent on doing a catwalk with all of her clothes.

She was wearing a maroon spaghetti strap vest and a black tennis skirt which she absolutely hated.

"Just wear what you normally wear?"  Damien suggested, nervous of his daughters reply.

"I CANT REMEMBER WHAT I NORMALLY WEAR!"

<>

"Nope, it seems to have beaten me."

"Peter all you did was repeatedly press the key 'A', how was that supposed to do anything?"

<>

"Shape shift into Peter, maybe she will like you better." Clint suggests from Loki's doorway.

The archer earns a frisbee to the face for that comment.
