Chapter 3

Joey's POV

  I can't believe Rachel said yes to marrying me. I feel like the luckiest man in the world. I know that's cheesy, but it's true. For a long time, I only saw Rachel as a friend, but three years ago I fell in love with her.  It only took one date for me to realize it. 

 I always scared that I would lose her to Ross, but luckily I haven't. I know that her and Ross have a deep history, but I can tell that she's committed to being with me. Rachel has her flaws, but she's not a cheater.

  Anyways, Rachel and I start our wedding preparations. We were going to start after we made the announcement, but Ross' lashing out wore all of us out. Monica had to drive all the way across the city to his apartment to attempt to calm him down. She called us just a few minutes ago with a full report on his mental state... and it wasn't good. 

  But honestly, it's his loss. He had all of this chances to be with Rachel and he blew every single of them. He needs to see that Rachel and him work better as friends. Sometimes, there are certain friends you can't date because it would either be too awkward or you just have more of a brother/sister type of relationship. 

 I'm not saying I want Ross to be hurt like he is. I want him to a good girl one day. I just don't want him to try to steal mine away. He has a history of doing those sort of things.
