Guardians discovering

"I'm happy to be Reborn-sama's pet!" Tsuna said in his adorable childish way. Reborn's heart flatter the second he saw the brunette lift his arms like he's asking for a hug. He then carried his new pet like a child.

"Why can't the others know?" Tsuna asked Reborn a few minutes ago, tilting his head like a confused puppy.

"Because, baka-Tsuna," Reborn answered, "Isn't it more fun to be a secret pet?"

Tsuna gave him an innocent "oooh!". Reborn must be really thankful to Gianini. Well, Spanner too. He helped Gianini a bit with hijacking the collar's system and modify it, and who knows why he did. Now the collar limits the wearer's logic and ability to think further, just as innocent and obedient as Reborn wanted.

Meanwhile, without Reborn knowing, the guardians held a secret meeting. Gokudera explained what they think seemed to happen and everyone seems to agree with his theory.

"Reborn must be hiding something behind his sleeves."

Mukuro started laughing. "Kufufufu, whatever he's planning, I totally understand why he wants the vongola. Well, that is if he does, of course."

"I'll bite him to death." Hibari growled.

"W-wait! We can't just jump into conclusion like that!" Yamamoto break the solid agreement.

"I thought you're the one who thought about it first!" Gokudera shrugs.

"That's just an idea. First we have to make sure if that is really the case." Yamamoto explained.

Lambo looked at Yamamoto, then to the others, then back to Yamamoto again. His face is filled with confusion.

"W-what do you think we should do?" Chrome asked, looking down to the floor.

The room became silent.

"Maybe we just ask that stupid Reborn?" Lambo suggested.

"Not a good idea. If anyone shouldn't know, that arcobaleno earned the top list." Mukuro laughed it out.

"How about asking Tsuna then?" Yamamoto said.

Everything went back to consider until Gokudera finally continued, "I think we should not ask that directly."

"Especially when the arcobaleno is around." Mukuro smiled.

After more talks, the guardians finally came up with a plan to light the truth. Here's the plan:

1. Chrome will enter the room Tsuna is in with a bag of gifts. (Because it will be obvious if Gokudera and Yamamoto entered again. It will also look suspicious if the others are the one who visited him).

2. To make sure Reborn isn't around, Chrome will give them the code. If she just drop by to give the bag and left, it means Reborn is inside. If she stays, it means Reborn isn't around.

3. If step 2 went on a success, Gokudera and Yamamoto will come in again, while the rest secretly guard the door.(Gokudera and Yamamoto are the negotiation team. They know best how to talk Tsuna out. The others guarded the door separately and again, secretly)

After the guardians were ready, they all went to their positions.

Chrome started to walk down the hall and opened the door. A small creak from the door made the brunette turned towards her.

"Oh! It's Chrome!" Tsuna cheerfully greeted.

"Bossu..." Chrome smiled nervously. "Is it okay if I come in?"

"Sure!" Tsuna smiled and started swinging back and forth on his bed with his legs folded. He looked exactly like a child.

Chrome went in the room and closed the door. Now everybody can only hope Reborn's not inside. They hold their breath, waiting for the code.

...

There are no signs of anything. Maybe... Reborn is not inside?

Gokudera made an eye contact with Yamamoto from afar, Yamamoto then nodded and passes the information to Ryohei behind the bushes and so on until all the guardians know.

After making sure of everything, they started making their move.

Ryohei knocked the door. A faint sound from the inside replied a welcome.

"Excuse me..." he intrude himself in, only to see Tsuna with Chrome sitting and chatting like usual... but in a bit more awkward aura.

"Minna! You came!" Tsuna said cheerfully. He tried to stand up from his bed to greet them closer, but fell down face first on the floor as the same dame he is.

"JUUDAIME!!!" Gokudera reacted first, then approached Tsuna to check on his face.

"He seems normal to me." Mukuro giggled. The other guardians sighed out their awkwardness.

Chrome stood up too and looked at the guardians.

"Where's Reborn? I was so sure that the plan will fail... since he looked like he wouldn't leave Tsuna anytime soon." Ryohei whispered to Chrome.

Tsuna accidently heard the whisper.

"What plan?" Tsuna tilted his head.

"N-nothing! You know, we really want to give you a surprise!" Yamamoto break into rescue.

"Ohh... I see... Thank you, minna!" Tsuna smiled.

Everybody went silent again. Switching eye contacts with one another, Tsuna cracked up the silence.

"I'm actually quite surprised. I mean, I didn't expect Hibari-san and Mukuro to come along... I-I mean... umm..." Tsuna became nervous. This made the others twitched, noticing their obvious mistake from the start.

"I do what I want." Hibari stated.

"B-by the way, Tsuna. Where's Reborn?" Yamamoto smiled.

...

"I don't know....?" Tsuna answered it normally halfway then drowned in his own confusion.

"How do you not know?" Gokudera complained, almost face-palming himself.

"I-I'm sorry... I really don't know..." Tsuna looked at the floor, feeling guilty.

Up to everyone's surprise, a man with a black fedora closed the door. It was surprising, since nobody heard any door creaks or any footsteps of someone coming. Not so surprising though, when it came from Reborn.

"My, my. Look at all of our guest." Reborn smiled.

"H-hello!" Everyone greeted nervously. Surely, Reborn knew something was up. The guardians almost never gather together like this. If they were to gather, it will for something very important.

"What brings you all here? Oh! Gokudera and Yamamoto are also here!" Reborn kept his act.

"Ano... it's just... We were really worried for Tsuna and we planned on giving him a surprise, so here we are." Yamamoto explained, trying to not look like he was lying as possible.

Reborn glanced on each and every pair of eyes in the room.

"That's not the reason, was it?" Reborn let out a cunning smile.

Tsuna got up, "N-no! That's not true! They really came just to visit me! Look, here is the bag of gifts they gave me."

Reborn wanted to say something to Tsuna about being quite for now, but then realized that it will look weird for him to do that, since he usually kicked Tsuna until he was knocked out silent.

"Reborn?" Tsuna asked, worried of why Reborn hasn't been answering him.

Has the Vongola always acted this "cute" with Reborn? He has always been a no-goody no matter where, Mukuro thought.

"Reborn-san," Chrome finally gathered her courage to ask, "Please tell us the thruth, did you do something to Bossu?"

It was a moment of silence until Reborn let oit a calm giggle.

"Haha, you found me out." He smile in mischieve.

The guardians felt shivers crawling on their backs.

"I supposed Yamamoto and Gokudera was the ones who gathered you?" Reborn analysed.

"What did you do to the 10th?" Gokudera asked, almost losing his temper.

"I've turned him into my pet instead of Byakuran's." Reborn answered like it was nothing.

Yamamoto and Ryohei tried to calm down the storm who seemed to snap.

"Why would you do that?"

Reborn made his chesire smile, "Isn't it fun?"
