Your POV:

Oh my god. I'm sick. I woke up the next morning, feeling like I couldn't breath. My nose was SUPER stuffy and my throat was on FIREEEE. And when I tried to speak, I sounded like a 30 year old mother that smokes :(. Hopefully this don't last too long...

I told my sister and she put on a mask. How dramatic 🙄🙄🙄. This isn't covid.

"I can't be sick, I have to go to work." She said and she made me some tea.

Anyways, I was sitting at home and Takemichi texted me because I wasn't at school today. I told him I was sick and I would probably be better tomorrow. I look outside the window like I'm a main character and sigh for dramatic effect.

How THE FUCKKK am I supposed to do my plan if I'm sick?? I need to go get medicine. My sister is still at work or maybe she isn't I don't know, but I need medicine lol.

I put on a coat and step outside to be met with an icy breeze.

"OH MY LORD!"

I grew some balls (not literally) and I walked out the door into that life threatening ass weather. I went to the pharmacy and got some medicine. I just realized that today is Christmas Eve, the day Takemichi breaks up with Hina!

I walked out of the pharmacy, and it was really snowing now. My inner self is telling me to PLAY IN THE SNOW, but I have to go home or else my sickness will get worse.

At Night:

3rd Person POV:

"Fuck, it's cold." Hanma complained, pulling up his jacket collar. "Hey, Chifuyu. Is Takemitchy comin' or what?"

"He said he had something small to take care of." Chifuyu answered.

"He didn't ditch us like Y/n did, right?" Kisaki said. "We're carrying out our plan tomorrow, you know."

"Let's go inside and eat while we wait." Chifuyu suggested, heading towards a small restaurant.

Umishita Park

Takemichi stood, umbrella in hand while the snow fell. Hinata was him.

"Let's break up, Hinata." Takemichi said, bags under his eyes. He must have been crying again.

Takemichi tried of thinking of an explanation.

"You're probably wondering why I'm doing this outta nowhere but...I've been considering this for a while...I mean...Uh...I found another girl I like." Takemichi lied.

"...Hina...I don't...I don't love you anymore." Takemichi lied again. "I found another girl...yeah. So..."

Hinata threw her umbrella after standing quietly all that time. She landed a punch on Takemichi. She landed another punch on him knocking him to the ground.

"Wha... Hina?"

She sat on top of him and repeatedly beat his face screaming, "JERK! You jerk!"

Hinata's eyes were full of tears.

"I HATE YOU!" Hinata screamed and punched him one last time before getting up, picking up her purse and walking away.

Takemichi stayed on the ground for a while.

"This is fine." He thought. "There might be a connecting between me, Kisaki, and Hina. So it's better this way."

"It's fine..." He repeated in his head.

1st Person POV:

"ACHOO!" I sneezed (screamed).

God damn it. Is my cold getting worse?? The floor felt warm and comforting so I was laying on it. My sister came home by now, but I think she tucked herself in bed, taking a nap.

I felt even more shitty than I did this morning. I took the medicine! Maybe I'm just sleepy...I got up off of the floor, my head BANGING. I plopped on the sofa, almost sure that my legs would buckle like a belt if I tried to go up the stairs to my room.

I tried to fall asleep but, NOPE! All of a sudden, I have developed insomnia and my brain was not allowing me to sleep. Why is my body torturing me like this :(. This is NOT good bro.

Christmas Morning:

Miruka was off of work for a week now. She gave me a gift and I gave her the one she's supposed to have. By the way, I'm STILL sick. I won't be able to do shit so I'm probably gonna stay home :(. My gift was candy and perfumes.

I CAN'T EAT THE CANDY BECAUSE I'M SICK!! NOOOO!!!! The gift I gave Miruka was a jewelry set and a eyeshadow palette, because she likes makeup! She thanked me and because my gift was SO amazing, she made me chicken noodle soup for breakfast. Chicken noodle solos all your favs.

I ate my chicken noodle, took my medicine, and I lay on the couch to watch the Hallmark channel, cause it's Christmas timeee. My head still hurts, my throat still hurts, my nose is still stuffy, and I still feel like a plastic bag. AND now, my limbs hurt! It doesn't even feel better when I sit down or lay down. This medicine HAS to be a scam.

Alright! Alright, alright. I can't just sit here. I have to muster up some strength. I have never felt so weak before. I put on some clothes to go out in the snow, and I snuck out of the house. I know Mitsuya gets injured, so maybe I could stop that. If I get there quick enough, I could untie Chifuyu. I would be running a lot faster if every single step didn't send shots of pain through my legs.

3rd Person POV:

"Takemitchy...I didn't have that talk with you...because I wanted you to stop me." Hakkai said. "It was so I could strengthen my resolve!"

"If you get in my way, I'll kill you, too!!"

"No, you won't." Takemitchy said bluntly.

"Huh?"

"Whenever I share my worries with someone, it's because I can't decide what to do." Takemitchy explained.

Hakkai had a solemn look on his face.

"Hakkai...I know how you feel. You think there's no other way to stop Taiju's tyranny." Takemitchy reasoned. "No other way but to kill him. But choosing murder...won't protect anyone."

(it could you just have to do it right, duhhh.)

"Don't you wanna protect your sister?!! Hakkai!" Takemitchy asked, trying to get Hakkai to speak again.

Hakkai looked angry.

"What the hell do you know?!!" Hakkai screamed.

Takemichi flinched at Hakkai's outburst.

"If the the food tastes bad, he hits me! If I don't greet him properly, he forces me to sit kneeling all day. If I didn't wake up earlier than he does, he kick me until I throw up blood. If our eyes meet when he's in a bad mood, he beats the shit outta me." Hakkai said, a vein popping out on his forehead. "That's life in the Shiba household. Stay out of our family business!!"

Takemichi stood there in shock, not knowing what to say next.

"Go home. You can't stop me." Hakkai said turning around, waiting for Takemichi to leave.

It was quiet for a while...Takemichi spoke up again.

"Yesterday...I broke up with Hina."

Hakkai made a sound of surprise.

"I...broke up with Hina to protect her." Takemichi said, trembling. "I'm weak. I'm gutless. And I'm a huge idiot."

Hakkai turned around to look at Takemichi.

"But she loved me anyway. So I'd do anything to protect her!!" Takemichi declared, looking up with a determined look."But! No matter how much I hated my enemy. I'd never do something that would make Hina sad!! I would never kill someone!!"

"No matter how hard the alternative was...HEY, HAKKAI! YOU THINK THIS WILL MAKE YUZUHA HAPPY?!" Takemichi yelled.

Hakkai stood there, wide-eyed.

"Don't you think Yuzuha would be sad...if you became a murder?!!"

"Takemitchy..."Hakkai said, obviously lost for words.

Footsteps were heard from behind. They were heavy footsteps.

"Huh?" Takemichi whipped his head around, his heart beating fast.

It was Taiju.

"Our father, who art in heaven..."

Hakkai glared at him.

"I pray, thy holy name..." Taiju prayed, getting closer to them.

Taiju finally spotted Takemichi.

"Were we betrayed?!!" Takemichi thought, panting.

Then there was a yell.

"Hakkai?!"

Hakkai was charging towards Taiju with a knife.

"HAKKAI STOP!!" Takemichi yelled desperately.

Did I pass out?? I woke up in the snow. I'm surprised I didn't get snatched up but there is genuinely something wrong with me. I feel a lot worse, and I think I have ice burn on my face. Ouch. Well, damn. I'm too far away from my house to go back-

"Ma'am?"

I was still on the ground. I forgot to get up.

"Are you okay ma'am?" A lady asked me.

"Yes, I just slipped that's all." I told her.

"You look awfully sick. Do I need to call an ambulance?" She asked, helping me up.

"Oh no! I'm not sick." I lied. "I just slipped on the snow, I wasn't careful."

The lady insisted, but I declined. I REALLY needed to get to that church to help Takemichi, Chifuyu, and Hakkai. I did go find a place to sit first, because my legs felt like someone was piercing ever inch of them with needles.
