you were at set, talking to millie privately about the day before. you felt you could barely remember it, as it all just seemed like one big blur.

millie was listening to each word, but still was so speechless about finns actions.

"wow, i never knew thats what finn is like." she says as you sigh.

"yeah, i didn't either." you answer as she rubs your shoulder.

"i'm having a talk with him, cause i don't care what you say, he doesn't have the right to treat you or anyone like that." you go to grab millies arm as she shakes her head.

"y/n, please, i'm gonna prove to you i am a good friend. also, i have to talk to finn about a scene anyway." you nod your head, softly, as if it weren't even moving. millie half smiles you before walking off. you sigh.

it sucked.

you just met this cast and realised there not the perfect group you always thought. finn wasn't like the fanfictions you read, sadie wasn't the perfect best friend. you just felt hopeless, but you also know that this cast are human still. they still have emotions, all of them going through different levels of growing, all of them with different personalities. 

it just sucked that it wasn't the perfect life you wish you saw them as.

"hey cousin." you look up and see joe give you a smile. you smile back as he sits down by you.

"hey steve." you answer as he giggles.

"i swear, sometimes i think that is my actual name." you laugh at him.

"so, whats been keeping you down? i walked in and saw you were having a massive rant about someone. is everything okay?" 

joe was always so caring towards you ever since day one, and you couldn't thank him enough for it.

"finn." you answer as his eyebrows furrow in confusion.

"finn? you like him or something?" he asks as you shake your head and roll your eyes. you look  away as a foul expression appears on your face.

"i did like him. for a while actually. until, i realised he wasn't the person he appears to be." you stutter on your words. you didn't really want to tell joe about finn but you trusted him. but, you did want some precautions about what you were saying just incase.

"what happened exactly?" steve asks as you shake your head.

"it doesn't matter now. all i want is at least an apology." you answer as joe nods.

"and so you should." you smile at him as he smiles back.

"thank you." you say.

"for what?"

"for just, making me feel better. your the best cousin anyone could ask for." you say as joe blushes.

"and so are you." he opens his arms for a hug as you hug him back tightly. you honestly felt as if you were related to him, and you knew that joe felt the same way. you let go of the embrace as you look at joe.

"i also came here for another thing, and as i can see your free right now, so would you like to go to get some food with natalia and charlie. they were busy the other day you came in and would love to meet you." joe smiles towards you as you light up.

"would love to!" you squeal as joes smile lights up. he links arms with you as you jokingly walk off together. you walk up to joes car as you see gaten about to walk into set. he walks up to you guys.

"where you guys going?" gaten asks as you unlink from joe.

"hanging out with natalia and charlie so i can meet them, you can come if you want." you say as joe nods. 

"sure, i'm hungry." gaten replies. joe unlocks his car as gaten opens the doors to the back seat as he climbs in. as he does, you see finn and caleb about to walk into set. finn looks at you as his eyes almost widened, but you immediately jump in the car. you close the door behind you as gaten smiles to you.

"ready to go kids!" joe says as you and gaten laugh.

"still mother steve." gaten says sarcastically, as you smile. you look behind the back car window  to see finn staring at the car as you take off. you sigh as you look back forward.

you walk into the small deli down the street from set. it wasn't the tiniest thing, as it fitted almost 2 tables. all the rest of it was food.

you had brought your phone as you quickly scroll past insta. you had almost gained about 20,000 followers in less then a week. you had changed your insta bio to 'alex' as you thought some fans would recognise but not more than 1000. you were almost shocked at the response, the comments and the many of messages you were getting.

"woah, you've gained so many followers." gaten says as you shake your head.

"all i did was update my bio with alex, how did so many people find me already?" you say as gaten laughs.

"have no idea, our stranger thing fans are pro stalkers cause most of them are all our age." gaten replies as you nod your head. you look up at joe to see him looking around for certain snacks.

"what do you guys feel like? i'm buying so don't grab the whole store worth of lollies please." joe says as you and gaten laugh.

you go up to your favourite candy and grab it, while looking for your favourite drink. it was the same thing you got almost all the time, unless you wanted something different for that day. once grabbing your drink and your candy, you place them on the counter, shortly followed by gaten doing the same thing. joe buys the food before we sit down at one of the tables.

"so when are charlie and natalia coming, soon?"

"sooner than you think y/n." you flip your head almost instantly as you see charlie and natalia walk in. a big smile plasters on your face as you run and hug them. they jump back as they both hug you back.

"its so good to meet you guys!" you squeal as natalia and charlie chuckle.

"we have wanted to meet you ever since we heard about your audition." natalia says as you feel your cheeks go red.

"you heard that thing.." you say, blushing with embarassment as charlie and natalia smile.

"what do you mean 'that thing'? it was amazing!" charlie says as you smile towards him.

"you guys filming scenes today?" natalia says as steve nods.

"we're filming the first scene today where alex comes to steves house and sees mike and eleven for the first time." steve says as you feel your face drop. 

hearing mike is the equivalent of hearing finn. you were still quite furious about the other day so it was going to be hard having to act to seem all loving towards him. but it was acting, that was easy to do just like faking a smile.

"oh that will be fun." charlie says as you nod.

"i'm so excited, filming my first scene." you say as you smile to yourself, trying to ignore the fact about having to film with finn after the first scene is finished.

joe looks down at the clock as he reads the time.

"well crap, we should start heading back. we still have an hour but you know how the duffer brothers can be." joe says as gaten and you nod. charlie and natalia get up from their seat and walk with you, joe and gaten.

"lets get to filming." joe says, as you feel yourself sink.

okay i know this is the dumbest excuse ever but i haven't posted a chapter in the longest time cause i had this acrylic nails on and it was so hard to type. also, i didn't have a lot of inspiration but i'm back and better then ever.

also holy crap we've gained almost 100 more reads.
