The two sit and talk for another hour, everything felt so different but at he same time it was like nothing changed.. They were still best friends, they still annoyed one another but this time they were more then best friends. Eddie look's down at his watch letting out a sigh "I have to head home, one of my aunt's is coming over" he explains while sliding off the bed looking over at Richie who watch's him "Really? Since when does your mom ever have people over randomly?"

"No clue, but she want's me home for dinner" Eddie roll's his eyes heading back over to the window where he had came in from, this time when he look's outside he sees rain starting to fall it wasn't much but it was clear that the rain was only going to get worse "Great, I get to walk home in the rain and get a fucking cold" Eddie groans sliding his sneakers back on knowing they were about to get wet in seconds, "Here borrow this" Richie speaks up quickly tossing over on of his hoodies that was laid in the laundry basket he had yet to unload because well there was much more important things to do. "You sure?" Eddie looks at the maroon hoodie in his hands then back up at Richie who was now stood up a few feet away from him, "Yeah, I don't want to hear you complaining about having a cold for the next few days" he smirks seeing Eddie roll his eyes "Okay thanks, asshole" Eddie chuckles while sliding the hoodie on ignoring the size difference "See you later" he adds a smile still on his face as he pulls the window up his feet touching the roof outside when Richie stops him "Hey wait"

"What?" Eddie ask turning his head to look at him, Richie quickly leans down placing a small peck onto his lips before standing up straight again smiling now "Okay, see ya" Eddie stares at him for a few seconds before letting out a small laugh "Weirdo" he says before sliding his body out of the window pulling the hood up over his head the heavy rain hitting down on his as he tries not to slip off the roof. His feet hit's the ground with a huff, looking over his shoulder he see's Richie still watching him the two exchange a small wave before Eddie goes running towards his bike quickly biking down the road wanting to get home before he was completely drenched. Richie watch's the rain pour for a few minutes longer leaning against his window desk a satisfied smile on his face even after Eddie was gone, He didn't ruin everything... Eddie really liked him back.. The two were dating now..

It really didn't feel weird, he was scared that he would wake up any minute now and find out this was all the a perfect dream.. "Richie! Can you come down here" Maggie call's from downstairs snapping Richie out of his thoughts, he pulls the bedroom door open his heavy footsteps thumping down the hallway and down the stairs "What's up?"

"Was that Eddie jumping off our roof?" Maggie ask a smile pulling on her lips as she started cooking dinner for the family of three, Richie opens his mouth to say something before closing it again letting out a defeated sigh "Yeah.."

"So, I'm guessing his a bit more then your friend huh?" 

"Yeah, It just happened a few hour's ago" Richie starts to explain worried that maybe his mom wasn't as okay with the whole gay thing as she put out to be but instead she cut's him off,

"Well next time he come's over, tell him to use the front door your dad won't be happy if he has to go up and fix a broken shingle" Her soft face held a kind smile watching her son's worried face drop with surprise before he shakes it off gaining a smile to "Will do", He says leaning against the counter watching his mother cook "Don't have to go to work tonight?"

"Nope, finally get a break!" Maggie let's out a relived sigh "I love the job, but man does it drain" she adds looking up from the cutting bored where she was cutting up a tomato into small cubes, "Well you are one of the best nurses Darry has to offer" Richie smiles making his mom roll her brown eyes "That's not hard to achieve" 

"What are you guy's plotting in here huh?" Wentworth walks into the kitchen towards the fridge glancing between his wife and son, "You'll see" Maggie shrugs making Wentworth snicker as he leans into the fridge pulling out a beer can popping it open. "Well I'll know who to blame if my food taste funny" 

While Richie watched his parent's tease each other, his dad leaning over stealing one of tomato slices throwing it up into the air and catching it in his mouth making Maggie roll her eye's "What are you? Five?"

"Five and a half actually" Wentworth shoots a wink towards his son in the way he always did when he was in a teasing mod knowing his son liked all the joke's he made, at Eddie's house he was sat at the dinning table listening to his mother and her sister talk while sharing a glass of wine leaving Eddie sat there with a bored look on his face.. God why was he here, he had already tried to slip away but his mom stopped him before he could even get onto the first step. When the phone suddenly rings Eddie was on his feet in seconds rushing over to the phone on the wall, he picks it up placing it against his ear "Kaspbrak residence" He said knowing his mother would bitch at him if he answered the phone with a hey or even a hello she liked being fancy. 

"Fancy boy huh?" Richie's voice comes from the other line making Eddie grow a large smile in seconds his bored mode changing like the flick of a light, "Wow can't get enough of me huh? It's been like an hour"

"Ha ha very funny, I can hang up and let you go back to talking with that lovely aunt of yours" 

"Fuck off"

"That's what I thought, anyway wanna come over tomorrow? Parent's wont be home" 

"Inviting me over, aw is this a date Richard?" Eddie teases him again hearing the line go quiet before he could hear Richie's goofy laughing "So is that a yes?" Richie ask, Eddie couldn't stop smiling he didn't understand why he was so happy just from such a small conversation that the two had before many times. "Yeah I'll be there"

"See ya Ed's"

"Bye Richie"

"Who was that honey?" Sonia calls out just as Eddie put's the phone back on the receiver, he freezes trying to come up with an excuse "O-oh uhm just one of my friends"

"What did they want?"

"To hang out but I told them I couldn't" Eddie says wearing a fake smile, Sonia's gaze doesn't soften her brown eyes staying glued onto her son watching him walking back over to the table noting the small smile on his face.. He was hiding something and she knew it, "Well let's eat dinner shall we? I for one am starving" His aunt speaks up walking past Sonia joining the brown haired teen at the table. The next three hours seem to drag by slowly for Eddie his head rested in the palm of his hand watching the two talk and talk it surprised him how much the two could talk without getting bored, but when the sun outside starts to set he bounces to his feet catching the women's attention "I'm going to go take a shower Mama, it's getting late" Eddie says leaning down planting a kiss on his mothers cheek cringing at himself, as he goes to leave his aunt reach's his hand over wrapping it around his wrist pulling him back "You're forgetting something silly" 

He let's out a nervous chuckle leaning down again placing a kiss on his aunts cheek, giving the two a smile he quickly turn's around basically sprinting up the stairs once he was out of view his let's out a huff of air. It felt nice to finally have his mother's eyes off him for once he didn't understand why she had been staring at him so much tonight, he wasn't acting any different.. He spends the next twenty minutes in the shower by the time he was out his aunt was leaving being able to hear the two exchanging their goodbye's then the front door closing behind his aunt, wrapping the towel around himself he peaks out into the hallway seeing the cost was clear. Eddie had beauty marks on his back and small one's on his chest, he knew they were normal since all his friends had them but every time Sonia would catch a glimpse of them she would force Eddie to stand there while she made sure they weren't anything she should be worried about.. Like that would stop her..

He book's it down the hallway his feet thumping off the wooden floor until he was back into his room with the door closed giving him privacy from his hawk mother, after getting changed he flops down onto his bed letting out another sigh. Tomorrow he would be hanging out with Richie, and he could not wait for tomorrow to come..
