Filming

Our manager took me to the director. We just got off the van when I saw her car coming in the parking lot. She parked five cars away from us but I could still see her from where I was standing. She got off, took something from the back seat and headed towards us.
"Anyeonghasaeyo," she bowed to our manager. And he did the same.
"Hi, Mark," she waved.
"Hi."
"Let's go in," our manager lead us to the office at the 6th floor of the building.
"Great, you're both here." Director Lee welcomed us with a huge grin on his face.
"Anyeonghasaeyo," Kris and I bowed in unison.
"Have a seat," he ushered us to empty chairs that were placed around a long table. I could see Kris' manager already sitting at the far end. When did he get here? "Help yourself with some coffee and donuts first. We can eat while discussing this."
I saw Kris' manager serve her a cup of coffee and he sat back down to where he was sitting. She sipped the coffee almost instantly.
Pfffttt...Hot... She stuck her tongue out and started fanning it with her hands.
I snickered, same silly girl.
She looked at me and grinned.
"Alright, let's get down to business," the director started. "I already heard the song, and I came up with a concept."
He pushed a button on the remote and the screen on the wall across him turned on. It showed slides of drawings of what he wants the MV to be.
"Let me explain this to you frame by frame."
I listened carefully and put all my attention on the screen, although, I could see Kris at the corner of my eye. She looks bored. She propped her head up with her left hand that was on the table. She stifled a yawn, but failed.
I chuckled softly at the sight.
"Is it funny?" The director thought I was laughing at the screen.
"I'm sorry. No, please continue." I said.
I blocked my sight of her with my right hand that was on the arm rest of my chair. Focus, Mark.
"What do you think?" The screen went black and he was asking us for feedback.
"It's good." Kris sat up straight. "Except for the last scene."
"What about it?" the director looked at her.
"It's in an amusement park."
"Yes?" The director half asked, half stated. "What's the problem with that? I think it's perfect. It makes a good conclusion for the song." He looks annoyed. I heard that Director Lee doesn't really like being criticized for his work. "Don't you like it?" He is obviously insulted.
"No, not that." Kris started explaining. "I like the concept. It's just that..."
"She's afraid of the rides," I continued for her.
"Oh?" Dir. Lee said with a what-do-I-care kind of expression on his face.
"Never mind," Kris said. "Forget it." She said bleakly.
I looked at her and could clearly see the uneasiness she must be feeling.
I wanted to go near her and tell her it's gonna be okay, that I would stay beside her and that she shouldn't be afraid, but I couldn't comfort her. I shouldn't.
"So, let's go?" the director stood up. "Everything's set. The crew's waiting for us."
____________________________________________________________________________
I was driving to the first location, my manager said he would meet me there. He had to go back to the company first to fix the schedule of the rest of the members.
I just followed the staff car in front of me. We drove for around 3 hours and parked in front of a huge old abandoned building. It looked like it used to be a hotel of some sort. I looked around. Creepy.
"I know everybody's hungry, so let's go grab a bite first." The director shouted through the megaphone he was holding. "The food's right over there."
I grabbed a plate, filled it with a little bit of everything. I saw Mark and his manager eating on the table beside the director. I walked towards them but Mark looked at me and gave me a face that read 'don't sit here.'
I walked past them and went to my car. Why is he being like that? One minute he's good, and the other he just turns into pure evil. Is he bipolar?
The stylist and another staff came near me and asked me if they could join me. "Sure," I said.
I could see Mark's table from where I was seated. He is having a conversation with the director. He turned his head towards my direction and I made a face at him, rolled my eyes and looked away.
"How old are you, Kris," the other staff asked.
"22, well, my Korean age is 23." I said.
"We're the same age," she smiled. "I just look older because of stress," she pointed at the soft wrinkles forming on her forehead. "Work gives me stress...my boyfriend stresses me out, too."
I giggled. "You should dump him then."
"No way," she pouted. "Even if he's a pain sometimes, he is sweet. Plus, he's super loyal."
Ouch...I don't know anything about loyalty.
"Are you sure?" I asked her.
"Of course. Why?" She suddenly became curious. "Have you been cheated by a guy before?"
Bulls-eye!
I just grinned.
"Really?" now, the stylist (I think her name is Ana) was curious too. "You don't look like the girl that a guy would cheat. You're just too beautiful."
"Guys are guys, and girls are girls. Most guys can't control themselves in front of girls. And most girls, just couldn't control themselves in front of guys." It's true. That's why I always have to be careful if I don't want to end up being dumped again.
"Should I spy on my boyfriend then?" she asked.
"I think you should show him that you trust him so he would stay loyal." Ana said.
"What are you ladies seriously talking about?" A guy interrupted our conversation.
"Junior?!!?" I was surprised. "What are you doing here? Are you gonna cameo in our MV?"
"I wish, but no....I just came her to give my support to Mark and to you, of course."
"Thanks, Junior."
"Anyway, the director said you should gather in 15 minutes."
"The first scene would be of Kris," the director explained what I should do.
"Ready? Action."
The director was finally satisfied after 10 takes.
Junior gave me a thumbs up, "you did great."
"Thanks."
I looked at Mark but he was looking somewhere else. Not even a moral support from him?
It took us 4 whole hours to shoot all the scenes we needed for this location.
We now need to move to another location which was, thankfully, just a few minutes away from here.
Ana and the other staff, Min-seo, rode with me in my car. I was thankful to them for keeping me company. My manager still wasn't here and it's already getting dark.
While the crew were setting up the lights and all, Ana prepared the clothes I needed.
"Here," she handed me a blue flowing dress that is made of very thin fabric.
"Shouldn't I wear anything inside?" I was worried.
"Is it too thin?" she rummaged through the rack for another dress. "How about this?"
This time she showed me a shorter dark blue dress. It is just a casual sleeveless dress which is knee-length with a white thin belt that is tied in a ribbon at the back.
"That's better," I took it and put it on.
I stepped out of the make shift dressing room and saw Mark standing a few meters away from me. His face was taunt and his eyebrows met in the middle. He just stood there staring at me.
"Does it look bad?" I asked him.
He didn't answer.
"Hey, Earth to Mark." I snapped my fingers on his face.
"Huh?"
"Does it look bad?" I asked again.
"You should change." He said and left.
"What?"
