SECRETS - DD OSAMA

"do you know how to keep secrets?"

ALEXANDRA RENAE PAIGE2.14.234:00 pm － her crib .

alexandra repeatedly hit her tiny basketball she had against her wall whilst she sighed. she and jaelin were still grounded because of the fight and if she was being honest, she didn't know how long they were gonna be grounded. probably until callie paige passes away, alexandra thought.

there was a knock at her door which made her sigh again. "come in," she said blankly. the door creaked open to reveal her sister and little brother. "hey jae. hi sammm." she said, dragging out the word as sam jumped out of jaelin's arms and ran to alexandra.

jaelin playfully mugged her little brother and rolled her eyes with a sigh. "what you doing today?" she asked, sitting down on the edge of her bed. alexandra set sam down on her lap whilst he played on her phone and thought for a moment.

"uhm probably nothing," she said. "ddot wants to come over and spend valentine's day with me so i'm gonna ask but mom is still pissed bout the fight." jaelin groaned and threw her head back. "fucking hate couples," she grumbled. alexandra laughed and shook her head. "you and dd will be back soon, my heart."

jaelin rolled her eyes and picked sam up. "yeah whatever. come on sam. you'll be my valentines today." she smiled at him. he clapped his hands and giggled. jaelin walked out alex's room, shutting the door behind her.

alexandra got up from her bed and put on her slippers and looked at herself in the stand up mirror she had. she ran her hands through her goddess braids that she had just gotten done with jaelin not that long ago. she took a deep breath and made her way out of her room and into her moms room.

she stood in front of her moms door for a good minute, afraid to knock. callie may not seem like it, but she is a very scary women. alexandra took yet another deep breath and knocked on the door. after a few seconds, she heard a faint "come in" on the other side.

she opened the door to see her mothers bedroom empty but her bathroom light was on. she shut the door behind her and walked into her bathroom. in there, she saw her mom going over her straight hair with a flat iron.

"hi mommy," she said as she sat on the counter. her mom stopped straightening her hair and side eyed her daughter through the mirror. "hi alex. what do you want," she asks. alexandra makes a mug look on her face and rolls her eyes. "what makes you think i want something?" she asks.

"cause you only call me "mommy" when you want something. now what do you want girl." she says, repeating her question. alexandra let out a huff and slouched on the counter. "ddot was wondering if he could come over and hangout since it's valentine's day," she said.

callie let out a big huff and rolled her eyes. she set down the flat iron and looked at her daughter  next to her. "why would i let him come over knowing damn well you and jaelin are grounded?" she asked her. alexandra sat there, quiet.

"because he's ddot and you love him," she smiled. callie let out a sigh and put her hands on the bathroom counter. "fine," she gave in. "but he has to leave by nine tonight. no later." she said. a big smile grew on alexandra's face. "thank you mom." she hugged her.

"mhm," she hummed, hugging her daughter back. "out my face now." she said. alexandra deadpanned her mom and nodded her head. she hopped off the counter and happily went back to her room. she pulled out her phone and went to her contacts, clicking on ddot's contact and clicking on the facetime button.

she waited for him to answer and finally after a few rings, he finally picked up. his screen showed him blowing smoke from the blunt into the camera frame. his curly hair was out covering part of his face. "hey, ma," his raspy voice said.

she smiled at him and at the nickname. "hii," she said. he set his phone up to show his full face. "wassup?" he asked. "i just wanted to let you know that mama dukes said you can come over but gotta leave by nine." she assured the boy.

a small smile grew on his face as he picked up his phone and made his way to his front door. "on my way now." he said whilst hanging the phone up. she didn't get the chance to speak or even say goodbye, which made her furrow her brows why he was so quick to hang up.

she just let it go and headed downstairs to wait on the boy.

it had been ten minutes since alexandra and ddot have talked and he still wasn't at her house. she looked at her phone to see it was five o'clock. she let out a sigh and unlocked her phone and went to the messages app.

alexandra just sighed at her phone she turned it off, setting it in her lap. she continued watching whatever was set on the tv, waiting for ddot to get to her house. she was honestly nervous. what had came up? was it something bad? did something happen to him? her overthinking took over and as much as she tried to push it away, she couldn't.

she was picking at her nails as the doorbell rang which caused her to stop. she got up from the couch and went to the door and opened it. in front of her revealed ddot with a bouquet of pink roses in one hand, and a box in another. her eyes widened at the sight, a smile growing on her face.

she immediately brought the taller boy into a hug, him quickly returning it. the two stood there for a moment until she finally let go. she grabbed the flowers and admired them. "ddot, these are beautiful, bro," she said. he smiled and patted himself on the chest. "i did it all by myself. thank you my heart,"

the two walked inside as she closed the door and grabbed a vase and put water in it, putting the flowers in it as well. she walked back over to him and smiled at him. "i love them. thank you and you're welcome." she said. "i love you." ddot said, pulling her close and into a kiss.

she returned it but pulled away when she heard footsteps. "oh hey ddot," callie said as she walked into the kitchen with sam on her hip. jaelin followed closely behind an sat herself on the couch with a sigh. "hi, mrs.paige. and hey jae," he said.

jaelin just gave him a tight lipped smile and went back to her phone as callie started cutting up some vegetables. "food should be done soon so y'all can just do whatever until it's done." she assured the two kids with a smile. alexandra nodded her head and grabbed ddot by the wrist and pulled him upstairs.

they walked into her bedroom and both took off their shoes. she made her way to her closet and pulled off her sweatshirt and leggings, putting on baggy pj pants and a crop top. ddot was layed out on her bed as she made her way over to him.

"i have something else for you," he announced. she furrowed her eyebrows and looked at him. "what is it?" she asked. he dug into his jeans pocket and pulled out a black box. her expression changed from confused to shocked. her jaw dropped and she looked at ddot.

he opened the box, revealing a necklace that had the initials, 'A.P+D.J'. she grabbed the box and looked intently at the jewelry. "whose initials?" she asked. he looked at her like she was slow. "me and you, goofy." he said. "alexandra paige and darrian jimenez." he explained.

she made a 'o' shape with her mouth, indicating she now understood. ddot took the box back from her and took out the necklace. "move your hair to your side," he said. she did so and turned around. he placed the necklace around her neck as big smile grew on her face.

once ddot clipped it on, she immediately turned around and tackled him in a hug, giving him a whole bunch of kisses. "thank you so much," she said, kissing his nose. "don't kiss my nose. that's nasty," he said. she playfully mugged him and rolled her eyes. "it's not nasty."

"but you're welcome my heart. i just wanted this day to be special and be bout me and you." he said with a smile on his face. she smiled back and gave him a peck on the lips before laying her head down on his chest. she was straddling his lap, her knees being bent. he rubbed his hand up and down her back, giving her a feeling of comfort.

for the rest of the time being, the two just layed there in a comfortable silence. they would talk here and there but other than that, it was silent. alexandra was on tiktok whilst she still layed on ddot. after about five minutes, her phone had turned off and there was light snores coming from her.

ddot looked down to see that she was sleeping. he smiled at the sight of her sleeping so peacefully. he looked at the time on his phone to see it was only six fifteen. he had about another three hours left so he decided to take a nap with his girlfriend as well.

after ten minutes of struggling to fall asleep, his eyes became heavy and he fell asleep as well with his girl in his arms.
