jaelin sat down on her couch with a bowl of ramen noodles in her hand and a mountain dew in another. she set her stuff down on the table infront of her and picked up the tv remote. she moved her curly hair to the side and clicked on the show she wanted to watch.

before she could click play, she sneezed. and sneezed again. and again. "jesus," she sighed. she rubbed her swollen eyes and clicked play on euphoria. the girl had stayed home from school today since she's been sick since yesterday. she grabbed her noodles and started eating them.

after about twenty minutes, alexandra came running into the house and slamming the door. jaelin sat up from her spot on the couch and furrowed her brows. "the fuck are you doing?" she asked. alexandra took her shoes off and took a big sigh. "you ain't look at your phone yet?" she asked.

jaelin slowly shook her head no and grabbed her phone from beside her, unlocking it. "what happened?" she asked. alexandra was now sitting next to her sister. "go to instagram and look at please don't lack's page," she said. jaelin widened her eyes and hesitantly opened the instagram app.

jaelin angrily closed out of the instagram app and shut off her phone. alexandra looked at her with a sorrowful but angry as well look. "can't stand hoes," jaelin mumbled and went up the stairs. alexandra followed closely behind her. "literally. dd prolly sent crystal y'all's message and crystal must've dm them," she said.

they were now in jaelins room, jaelin grabbing the half dead flowers on her nightstand out of the vase and walking downstairs. she held her right hand under the stems so water doesn't get anywhere. jaelin walked up to the trash can as alex stood at the top of the stairs.

"what are you doing?" she asked. jaelin shrugged her shoulders and threw the flowers away. she walked back up the stairs, slightly shoving past alex. alex once again followed her sister into her bedroom and watched her from her bed

"they were the flowers dd got me awhile ago." jaelin said, finally answering alexandra's question. alexandra just nodded her head and didn't say anything. it was too late to stop her now and she knows that jaelin has every right to be upset about whats going on.

jaelin pulled out some grey sweatpants and a random t-shirt she had stolen from trilly. she put the outfit on and slid on her ugg slippers along with her black puffer jacket notti had gotten her for christmas so they could match.

"where you headed off too?" alexandra asked, seeing the girl out on some mascara and aquaphor. "a walk," jaelin sighed. she turned to her sister and rested her tense body. "i need to get my mind off of dd and crystals deformed turtle neck havin ass." she said.

alexandra busted out laughing at the roast, a smile creeping onto jaelins face and her laughing now too. the two were laughing for a good two minutes until jaelin sighed and held her stomach. "i'll be back soon. let mama and sam know where ima be at," she said and headed downstairs to the front door.

alexandra nodded her head and hugged her sister. "safety, my heart." she said. jaelin smiled and walked out the door. "safety!" she called out as the door slammed shut. jaelin let out a deep breath and started walking down her street and off to wherever.

jaelin was walking around the sugarhill neighborhood for a while now. her hands were stuffed in the pockets of the big fluffy jacket she had on. she was now down at the block on her phone, unbothered by anyone who was there.

what she didn't notice was that noticuz was shooting a youtube video. with ddot, notti, and dd. she was snapping people back until she ran into someone, causing her to drop her phone. "dick," she mumbled as she stood up. "what was that?" the person asked.

she looked up from her phone, inspecting to see if there was any cracks to see notti. "my heart!" he yelled, tackling her into a hug. the camera was now on her and notti hugging whilst rocking back and forth.

"hi notti," she smiled.

"we matchin." he said, referring to their jackets.

"yes." she replied.

"hey, noti," she said. "is that jaelin gzzzzzz?" noti asked sarcastically, putting the camera and himself all up in her face. she backed away and made a grossed out face. "boy yo breath stank." she said, half joking half serious.

everyone around them started laughing as he deadpanned her. ddot then pulled jaelin into a hug, acting like they haven't seen her in forever. which is kind of true. ever since dd and jaelin "broke up", she hasn't been talking to any of the group besides her sister and jasmine.

"i've missed you my heart," ddot said, his voice muffled from his face being in her shoulders. her chin was rested on his shoulder as she nodded her head. "i've missed you too," she said. he pulled away from the hug and sighed. "nigga went ghost on us." he said.

notti nodded his head in agreement. she just laughed amd looked at the ground. "sorryy." she said, carrying out the word. noticuz was now talking to dd about something when jaelin looked over at him just to see him eyeing the girl down.

when they made eye contact, she immediately looked away. ddot, notti, and jaelin all stood and talked for a couple of minutes whilst noti was talking to dd about something. she kept her eyes fixated on him the whole time, trying to read his lips.

since it was so loud from everyone screaming and talking, she could barely make out what they were saying. jaelin finally gave up and put her attention back to the boys in front of her who were talking. noti then made his way over to the group, standing next to jaelin with the camera facing them.

"so, jaelin," he said, cutting ddot off from talking. ddot mugged him and smacked his lips. "hm?" she asked. she looked between the camera, to noti, then to dd was standing next to him with his head down. "are you and dd still together?" he asked her.

her mood faltered at the mention of her and him. "no we're not," she said. she looked over at dd who was now looking at her with a sad expression but quickly changed it when they made eye contact. "but we ended on good terms and we're still.. friends." she hesitated.

noticuz nodded his head as he went over to other people and just recorded them. notti and ddot left the two because they were running around with nerf guns, shooting each other and other people. she noticed dd was gonna say something so before he could, she walked away and walked back home without saying goodbye to anyone.

n tmrw i got basketball practice n sunday i got anotha basketball thing but ima make it work fo y'all .
