jaelin was currently layed out on her older brothers bed, watching tv in his room. she liked being off from school, it was like she escaped from jail. but the only thing bad for her and alexandra, was the babysitting.

their mother was currently at work leaving the three children at home. sam was currently asleep which left alexandra and jaelin a good three hours of peace since they've been dealing with him all day.

when callie was gone, jaelin always snuck her phone. it really didn't make sense to jaelin. her mom would let her go out and do fun stuff but not have her phone. how does that work?

the next episode of love island came on when she hear a ding! from her phone. she picked it up to see it's a text message from ddot to the groupchat.

jaelin shut off the tv and walked out of her brothers room and into alexandras. "call mama and ask her." she ordered. alexandra mugged her but was too lazy to fight so she clicked on her moms contact and called her.

after a couple of rings, she picked up. "sí," her mother asked. "hola mami," the two girls said in unison. callie let out a sigh. "sí?" she asked again. "dos cosas," alexandra said. "qué?" she asked, annoyed.

"numero uno, notti y dd saludan," she said laughing a little bit. callie let out a relieved laugh and the girls could tell she was smiling. "dile a los hermanos reyes que yo también dije hola."

the girls smiled and alexandra continued on. "y el grupo se preguntaba si podíamos ir a times square? jasmines mamá podría ver a sam." she asked. callie smacked her lips started typing.

"está bien, pero no salgas tarde. no necesito que pase ninguna tontería." she said. the girls smiled and jaelin started doing a happy dance then pulling out her phone to let the group know they can go.

"gracias, mama. te amo." they both said. "yo tambien los amo mis bebes." callie said. they ended the call, jaelin immediately calling jasmine.

"ray ray," jaeline said as jasmine picked the phone up, her screen showing her in her pj's still. "hm?" she hummed. "can mama aliyah watch sam while we go out?" she asked. jasmine immediately nodded and sat up from her bed, moving her braids out the way.

"fo sho," she said. "ima get ready at y'all's house so when she drop me off she can take sam and shit." she said. they nodded and said their goodbyes and started getting ready.

jaelin was putting on her extra essentials as in rings, necklaces, and her bracelets. 'All Falls Down' by kayne west was currently playing with her turning it up every five minutes since the shower connected to her bedroom kept overpowering it.

jasmine was the last one showering since jaelin and alexandra had already showered many minutes before. alexandra was taking photos in the mirror whilst jaelin was slicking back her edges now.

jasmine walked out of the steamy bathroom with her outfit on, walking over to the vanity. jaelin got up from where she was sitting and grabbed the flat iron, making her way to the mirror where alexandra was at.

the girls took another ten minutes getting ready until they heard a door open. "who's that?" jasmine asked. alexandra and jaelin both shrugged. "probably mom," jaelin said, turning the flat iron off.

jaelin's bedroom door opened to reveal three boys. "wassup heartys," notti said, slinging his arm around jaelins neck, kind of giving her a hug. "bitch we thought you were my mom." she laughed.

the three boys playfully mugged her and sat on her bed. "y'all nigs ready to go?" ddot asked. they all nodded and put their shoes on and headed out to the car.

jasmines outfit consisted of a green sweater with blue jean shorts and her navy green dunks whilst alexandra's outfit was a black crop top and black flare leggings with her converse.

as they got into the car, dd was in the drivers seat with jaelin in the passenger seat. jasmine was sat behind jaelin whilst alexandra was sat behind jasmine. the same for the boys.

before dd started driving, jaelin took four different photos and put the four split screen on it. she saved it to her camera roll, planning to post it later on her instagram. she set her phone down and sighed, ready to spend the day with her favorite people.

it was now night time and the group was still walking around times square. the time was currently eight thirty two and since it's november, it's already dark outside. times square still filled with thousands of people walking around.

everyone each had a bag in their hand, whether it was their own bag or they were carrying someone else's. they were currently stuck in walking traffic, causing jasmine to sigh dramatically.

"fucking walk! it's not that hard bro," she said. everyone snickered but the rest of the people mugged her. "can we go sit down and eat somewhere?" she asked, looking at her friends.

notti wrapped his arm around the girl and nodded along with everyone else. "where at?" dd asked. they all listed out food places to sit down and eat at as they shoved through the crowd of people.

finally after ten minutes of arguing and deciding, they all just decided on Dos Caminos. they walked into the restaurant, a waiter giving them a table. she got their drinks order, walking back to the kitchen to place the order.

the friend group were all engaged into a conversation whilst jaelin was on her phone, on instagram. she posted the photos she had tooken throughout the day and hours they have been in times square for.

she set her phone down, putting herself into the conversation that was happening.

dd's eyes were still glued to his phone fifteen minutes after everyone had gotten their food. jaelin wasn't talking either, still processing that fucking kayflock called her find under her post knowing she's with dd.

guess that's what opps do? she pushed her food that she didn't eat around on her plate and sighed. alexandra, notti, ddot, and jasmine all shared a look and stopped talking. notti set down his fork and looked at dd.

"dd," he said. "dd, bro," he said again, still not getting his attention. "dd, nigga!" ddot yelled. most of the restaurant went quiet, looking over at the table. jaelin smiled embarrassingly at the people around them.

"what, bro?" he asked. notti laughed and hit his chest. "the fuck you lookin' at on yo phone?" he asked. dd side eyed jaelin then shrugged. "nothin', sorry." he said. jaelin mugged him, her confused on why he's side eyeing her.

"jae, can we talk over there?" dd asked, pointing towards the front of the restaurant. jaelin looked at alexandra and jasmine who nodded their heads, indicating that she should go. she sighed and stood up. "yeah," she said.

the two made their way over to the doors, dd leaning against it. "hm?" jaelin hummed. "why is jason still commenting under yo posts?" he questioned. jaelin rolled her eyes and threw her hands up. "i don't know, dd," she said. "i'm not him."

dd smacked his lips and stood up from his leaning position and crossed his arms. "i know that, jae. i'm not stupid," he said. "i just figured you would've told him to stop by now?" he questioned. she looked down at her feet then back up at him.

"okay well i didn't." she shrugged. "look, i can handle kayflock or whateva but that weird ass nigga needs to stop." he said sternly. she sighed and rubbed her temples. "we just got back good," she said. "i don't wanna keep on arguin' with you. after break and after my oss, i'll ask jason to stop, okay?"

dd nodded his head, bringing her into a hug. "thank you, mama," he sighed into her shoulder. "and i know, i hate arguin' with you too." he said. she smiled at him and relaxed her feet since she was on her tippy toes.

"i love you." dd said. jaelin smiled and was about to say it back until she realized what he had said. "huh?" she furrowed her brows. he laughed at her and brought her closer. "i. love. you." he said again.

"dd, don't be throwing that word around like it's nothing. you do know we're fake dating to make crystal mad, right?" jaelin asked, almost throwing up at the sound of crystals name. dd let out a sigh and nodded his head.

"i know, jae," he said. "i love you as a friend." he clarified. it physically hurt him to say that but she was right. they were just fake dating. her face dropped, her quickly fixing her expression into a smile. "i love you too as a friend." she said.

he grabbed her hand and lead her back to the table where everyone else was once again, in another conversation. jaelin and dd sat down, sharing an awkward stare between the two. jasmine and alexandra looked over at the girl who immediately frowned at them.

they furrowed their brows and then looked over at dd who was talking to ddot and notti, then looked back at the girl. she nodded her head yes, causing them to frown as well. jaelin gave them a 'we'll talk about it later' look and continued on with her dinner and the rest of the night.
