jaelins mom took the covers off the girl and shook her awake causing javelin to groan and push her moms arm off of her. "bro stop," she mumbled and turned the other way. her mother looked at her and cocked an eyebrow.

"girl i know you are not talking to me like that," her mom said. jaelin turned towards her mother with furrowed eyebrows until widening her eyes. "oh, i'm sorry ma." she said.

"mmh," her mom said. "anyways, alexandra and jasmine got sick so you're going to school alone. i'll drive you." she said. jaelin shot up from her bed and threw her head in her hands.

"no. ma can i stay home?" she asked. her mother shook her head 'no'. jaelin groaned and layed on her headboard as her mother walked out her room. "you have an hour. hurry." she said.

she grabbed her clothes and a towel and headed into her bathroom that's attached to her bedroom. she got in the shower whilst blasting '2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted' by 2Pac on her speaker.

she used her warm vanilla sugar shower gel and rubbed it all across her body. she got out the shower, drying herself off. she used her warm vanilla sugar lotion and perfume after putting on her outfit.

her outfit consisted of a red crop top, grey sweatpants, and her red dunks. she was doing her skincare when she got a facetime call from 'jazzy 🤍 .' she dried her hands off and answered the call, setting her phone up where she could see her.

jaelin dried her face off, then flipping her bestfriend off through the phone. jasmine started laughing until her laugh turned into a cough. "you and alexandra are leaving me with him," she said.

jasmine blew her nose as jaelin continued talking. "i'm furious with both of y'all." she said, putting her cetaphil moisturizer on her face. "i'm sorryyyy, my heart," jasmine said carrying out the word.

jaelin took her phone out to her bedroom and set it on her vanity as she turned the lights around the mirror on. she sighed and put her head in her hands, screaming. jasmine laughed.

"just ignore him. don't talk to him until he apologizes," she said. jaelin nodded her head as she started put on her primer. "anyways, i have to go to sleep cause it's my nap time. bye hearty. and take your towel off yo head." she said ending the call.

jaelin rolled her eyes and took it off, letting her semi-wet hair go down her back. she started doing her makeup quite quickly since she only had thirty minutes left to get ready.

jaelin walked into her mothers room, telling her she's ready to go. her mom grabbed her keys and headed to the car. her mom dropped her off, saying their goodbyes and i love you's as jaelin walked into the school.

she walked into first period math to already see notti and dd there. the girl decided to sit next to notti today considering she didn't want to even breathe next to dd.

she took out her airpods and put them in playing 'I Can Love You' by Mary J. Blige. she took out a pencil and her notebooks and started doing notes.

notti shared a 'wtf' look with dd as he just shrugged and went back on his phone. "hey, jae," notti said looking at the girl next to him. she smiled at him. "hi, notti," she said returning back to her notes.

"how you been?" he asked the girl. she shrugged and looked dd up and down. "could be better." she said, closing her notebook. notti just nodded and went back to his phone.

jaelin was not ready for this day to go on. without jasmine and alexandra here to keep her tame, she didn't know how she would survive. she kept her head down the rest of the period, not wanting to say something she'll regret.

the rest of the day, she only talked to notti and ddot, isolating dd out. and he was getting quite tired of it. he know he shouldn't be texting crystal but at least he was.. honest?

when lunch came, she didn't want to sit with the boys and make it awkward so her only choices were to skip or sit with jason's friends. skipping was most definitely her first option since she didn't even wanna breathe next to jason and his friends as well.

she was walking out the cafeteria as she heard someone call her name. she turned around and saw it was jaden jackson. jason's friend. mostly everyone including dd looked at the girl. she rubbed her temples and walked over to the table.

jason was staring intently at the girl, making her to cover her stomach. "what, jaden?" she asked the boy. "come, sit," he said, patting a seat down right next to jason. she rolled her eyes and shook her head.

"no." was her answer. his face dropped, grabbing her by the wrist and making her sit down. she yanked his hand away and mugged him.

"so how you been?" jaden asked. she rolled her eyes and threw her hands up. "can people stop asking me that?! i'm fine!" she shouted. jaden put his hands up in defense whilst laughing.

"my fault, lil mama." he said. jason laughed and put his hand around the girls shoulders. she threw his arm off of her and looked at him dirty. she then turned her head towards jaden.

"don't call me that. ion fuck with you like that no mo." she said, going on her phone. the boys tried to talk to her, but she just zoned them out with her music.

they eventually gave up and went into their own conversation. she lifted her head up and looked over at dd's table to see him eyeballing her whilst notti and ddot we're talking amongst themselves.

she rolled her eyes and got up since the bell had rang. she rushed out the cafeteria and went back to her fourth period class with dd, ddot, and notti. if we're being honest, she just wanted to get this day done and over with.

dd was sat in his bedroom on his bed with notti and ddot playing the game. he was snapping people back until he saw that jaelin had him on opened since yesterday.

"bro what the fuck," he said. notti and ddot turned their heads and took off their headphones. "what?" ddot asked. "fucking jaelin bro. she's being mad dayroom." he said showing the two boys the 'opened 1d' on his phone.

ddot mugged the phone. "nah, why she bein' like dat?" he questioned. notti looked between the boys. was he the only one who had common sense? "bro, y'all gotta be serious," he said.

"you told her and the whole world that you still talk to crystal after telling everyone y'all was dating, dd." he said. dd made a face of realization. "oh shit," was all he said. "so i fucked up?" he asked.

notti nodded yes like it was obvious. "okay but jaelin sat with her ex today," ddot said. dd pointed at his friend, agreeing. notti shrugged. "ion know what to tell you man, i say text her." he said, putting the headphones back on and going back to the game.

ddot nodded, doing the same as notti. dd sighed and went to the messages app and clicked on her contact.

jaelin was in alexandra's room on the phone with jasmine, her bothering both of the sick girls. she was singing a song on the tv when her phone went off indicating someone texted her.

"who texted you?" jasmine and alexandra asked in unison. "i don't know. let me look," she said going up to her phone. she looked at who the message was from and her jaw dropped.

"what?" jasmine asked. "fucking dd texted me, bro." she said. this time, jasmines jaw dropped. "no fucking way. let me see." alexandra said pulling her sister close.

"yeah, share your screen." jasmine said. jaelin backed a little up from alex. "not too much now, you still sick." she said. alexandra rolled her eyes and jaelin started screensharing.

jaelin stopped screensharing and sighed. "i'm so tired of this bullshit, bro," jaelin sighed. "yeah, i know bae." jasmine said. alexandra looked at her sister with sad eyes as she rubbed her eyes to get rid of her tears.

"ima go, i'll talk to you later, davy." jaelin said. "alright, bye jj. love you." jasmine replied. "hearty." jaelin hung up the facetime call and went into her room.

she sighed into her pillow and turned on tv, turning on love island. a couple minutes into the episode she was on, her vision fell black, and she was fast asleep.
