Ψ 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐮𝐨'𝐬 Ψ

I smiled in pure joy thinking about him.

All I could do was dream and dream.

I was in the water as I saw a figure above, I pushed myself up and came out of the water and saw Luke crouched down looking at me. He was smiling as I smiled back at him. He reached for my hand, and I pulled my hand out of the water to reach for him but as I grabbed onto him his smile quickly turned into an evil like grin as he forced my closer and I gasped.

"You will be an end for everyone you love."

I gasped and panted and looked around seeing no one in the cabin, I was hearing arguing and shouting outside, and I slowly grabbed my shirt and changed my pants quickly to slip on my shoes.

I left the room and ran out and immediately arrived to chaos around the camp, everyone was shouting, arguing that it hurt my head since I had just gotten up from a stupid nightmare.

I had spotted Chris in the crowd along with Clarisse as she seemed to be the ones even more fired up than ever.

My mind didn't even have time to remember that fact Luke and I kissed last night.

As I was walking away from the noise holding both my hands to my ears, I had seen Damien with some other Satyrs trying to calm down other campers as I walked over and grabbed his wrist pulling him into a less noisy corner.

"Hayley! Look I know that I'm officially your best friend but I'm still a Satyr at heart and I need to calm everyone down." He panicked looking around behind my shoulder.

"What's even going on? I just woke up." I tried to ask, still tired and groggy as I rubbed my eyes.

"Well, that kid I mentioned to you, Percy Jackson. That one who's trying to get Zeus's bolt back?"

In my head the memory came back to me the night we drove to camp, it was a vivid one considering I was entering this whole life like a slap to the face.

I nodded and asked quickly "yeah but what's the point?"

He continued to look around panicked as he looked me in the eyes, grabbing my shoulders.

"He has almost finished his journey or has failed his journey because soon enough Poseidon and Zeus will go to war because of this. And if they do, people will have to choose sides. And after that it will become worse here at camp, everyone arguing, fighting just like it is now." He shook out in slight fear.

My brows furrowed with a confused expression on my face as he said, "look I've got to go and try to keep the peace."

He announced walking away as I asked concerned "wait! Where's Luke?"

Damien gave me a 'are you serious' face. I shrugged at him as he grumbled out "he went somewhere that way, I think Chiron's office I don't know."

Seeing him run off, I nodded and turned to the direction of the centaur's office to hopefully find Luke and tell him about what I just saw in my dream.

It was the voice of that being again, the same chilling voice that could make spiders run.

Reaching Chiron's office, I did see him, I saw Luke looking around as if needing to find something. My presence made the floor creak and he quickly looked back seeing me and widened his eyes.

"Hayley!" He shouted almost dropping something but caught it in the nick of time.

"Wh-What are you...here?" He stuttered and kinda panicked, maybe it was me? Did I do something? Do I look weird? Oh God, it's me?

He quickly walked over to me and smiled "are you okay? You're turning pale..."

I looked up at him and nodded quickly as I felt his hand hold my shoulders and I smiled at him finally feeling relaxed and he smiled back at me, and I tried to speak.

"I was just...I need to tell you something." I tried to say, and he held my arm with concern filling his face.

I didn't know how to react.

The butterflies.

Oh butterflies...

I shook my head and took his hands off my face and held his hands with my own. I was going to speak till we heard-

"Luke?"

Both of us tilted our heads in confusion as I looked over his shoulder and he turned around and we saw a light of rainbow waves illuminating a guy and a girl in some sort of...video or message? This was still all new to me.

"Percy? Annabeth? Are you guys alright" Luke spoke confusedly.

Percy Jackson, Son of Poseidon. And then Annabeth, Luke mentioned her at times. The daughter of Athena. Wow.

"We're fine, where's Chiron?" Annabeth had asked obviously confused by our appearances here which I wasn't gonna blame her for.

Luke had to explain "Chiron is holding camp together with both hands. Everyone here thinks we're going to war, so the cabins are taking sides. Please tell me you're calling with good news?" He asked from them and I felt his hand still holding onto mine which made me turn pink.

"We know who stole the bolt." The Son of Poseidon let out and Luke turned back to me, and we were both shocked, but he seemed to be a bit more than I.

"How do you know?" He asked the two as Annabeth explained "we ran into Ares and Grover got him talking and realized Ares knew who the thief was but was covering for them. So, who would Ares cover for more than-"

Annabeth stopped herself when Luke let out "-his favorite daughter. Clarisse is the Lightning Thief."

Even I had issues with Clarisse but to think she could steal something from the most powerful god in the world? To impress a dad, she even knew was impossible to impress.

"Chiron's gotta arrest her, find out what she knows. There's more to this than just the bolt. Don't ask me how I know, you just gotta trust me." Percy argued and Luke just nodded, and the two kids looked over my way.

Percy suddenly asked "hello, whoever you are. This was kinda a private matter and meeting."

I squinted my eyes looking in his direction and asked "seriously?"

"Luke, Annabeth, this is a new Demi-God. She came here the day after you guys left for your quest. Hayley this Percy and Annabeth."

They continued to stare at me confused and I just waved awkwardly of course not knowing what to do.

To make the awkward silence not as awkward Luke brought up "so how was Ares like?"

Percy shrugged and explained "compared to the Chimera on Monday & Medusa on Sunday, could have been a lot worse."

Annabeth stopped him to say, "Medusa was Saturday."

Percy was shocked and brought up "I thought it was Sunday."

She shook her head explaining "no monsters on Sunday, Monday you died in the river."

Luke and I stood there looking at one another smiling, probably thinking the same thing for the two, they acted like a mini married couple from those old tv shows.

I wasn't one to express my thoughts but Luke sure was because he had the guts to say, "when did you two turn into an old married couple?"

His claim made me hold my mouth to hold in my laughter and to not snort as he chuckled and looked my way as I looked back at him.

"So, are you two dating then?" Annabeth asked bluntly pointing both our ways.

The lump in my throat formed as Percy suddenly was about to say something but the call dropped, and we looked at each other.

We didn't speak for a few seconds by that's when I did to break the tension.

"I guess we have to tell Chiron about Clarisse?" I asked him and he stared at me.

The thought was tugging at my mind, so I groaned and tried to stop myself, but it just came out "I don't think Clarisse is the Lightning Thief."

After the turn of events that happened it seems like Hayley and Luke are about to have some trouble lingering between them.
