Chapter 1

"Augustine!!" Winnie opened the door, obviously thrilled that I was visiting. He threw his arms around me, forcing me into a tight hug.

"HEY, HEY! EASY ON THE LEG!" I shouted as Winnie stepped back, giggling. "Sorry!"

Winnie helped me get onto the bed and placed my crutches aside. "Soooo? Anything you wanna ask me?" My face flushed red.

I always knew... Winnie is the one. I don't care if he wants to be with me, whether or not he feels the same, I just want to love him.

He gave me annoying nicknames, was always physical with me, and followed me around, and people always thought we were a couple.

"Auggie? Aren't you going to ask me about uni?" Winnie asked before gasping and covering his mouth. "Wait, Auggie, I'm sorry!"

Though tears ran down my face, I still smiled. "It's okay, Winnie." He cupped my cheek in his hand. "No, it's not! I'm gonna stay with you forever and ever!"

Winnie's eyes started to well with tears. "I'm not letting what happened last time to happen again!" He frowned and leaned in close.

"It's seriously fine, Winnie." He shook his head and pressed his nose up against mine. "No... I want to make up for it."

He leaned in and pressed his lips against mine, the tender kiss lasting for a moment before he realized what he had just done.

Winnie grabbed my hand, helped me up into my crutches, and shut the dorm's door.

I started banging on the door, yelling at him. "Winnie! Open this door right now!!"

I pounded on the door for about 45 minutes before heading back home.

(Sorry this is short lol. For the sake of a perfect cliffhanger. Anyways, there will be angst. Probably smut/angst. I'm EXCITED. Also, just to clarify, this is one year after the good ending.
