Chapter 10 - Confession

Baekhyun POV

"Stop right there!" A voice shouted. I turned and saw a teacher running towards us. Once Taehyung saw the teacher, he quickly ran off with his two friends behind. I ran to Chanyeol to check on him. He was very badly beaten up.

"Chanyeol... Mianhe... I am so sorry.... This is all my fault." I cried as I apologized to him profusely.

He used all the energy he had to wiped away the tears on my face. "Aniya... Stop... Blaming yourself." He said and smiled slightly at me.

"Chanyeol, are you alright?" The teacher asked. I really felt like punching the teacher. How does he look alright?

"I'll bring him to the sick bay." I said and helped Chanyeol up. I wrapped my arms around him as he limped to the sick bay.

Since the nurse wasn't around, I had to clean his wounds for him. I took out the first aid kit and started cleaning his wound and bandaging them.

After a while, I was done. "Wow! How are you so good at this?" Chanyeol asked, amused.

"Because I always had to clean my own wound." I murmured.

"What did you say?" Chanyeol asked.

"Ah! Nothing! I just know." I answered. I was going to keep the first aid kit when I realsied that he had a small cut on his forehead.

"Wait a minute! You have a cut on your forehead." I said and leaned closer to help him put on a plaster. "Done!" I said and forced a smile. That was when I realized that our faces were very close. I stared into his dark brown eyes, mesmerized in it. Chanyeol slowly leaned in and I closed my eyes. I felt his soft plump lips on mine and I didn't reject. Instead, I returned the kiss. Our lips were moving in sync and I was enjoying the moment. I dissolved into the kiss and closed my eyes, feeling the warmth of his lips while he nibbled my lower lips, asking of entrance. I complied and his tongue explored every part of my mouth and our saliva mixed together.

When he broke the kiss, I could see him blushing. "S-sorry... I... I just couldn't resist." He apologized and I just nodded. I wanted to confess to him so badly but I couldn't. I will only hurt him if I do.

"Come on, let's go." I said as I kept the first aid kit. I was about to leave when he grabbed my wrist and pulled me in for another kiss. This time, it was a gentle and quick one.

"I love you Baekhyun. I have always loved you." Chanyeol confessed the moment he broke the kiss. I was elated when he said that but I cannot accept him. It was something I didn't want to hear from him but at the same time I wanted to hear it. I bit my lower lips and closed my eyes.

"Chanyeol, I love you too." I said and he smiled before engulfing me into a hug. I held back my tears as I pushed him away. I very much wanted to hug him and enjoy the his scent and warmth but that will only give him the wrong idea.

"What is wrong Baek?" He asked confused.

"I love you but we can't be together. I'm sorry Chanyeol." I said and turned to leave him there heartbroken.

I let the tears that I was trying so hard to hold back fall and covered my mouth as I cried. I was wishing that you will never fall in love but you did. I am really sorry for hurting your heart but it is better to hurt you now than later when I leave you.
