— Week 2, day 4

" how do i look at you from now on? "

sian, produce 48 - rumor

Haewon's POVwaking up to a warm body pressed stably behind, i yawned and stretched out. memories of last night didn't come clear to me as i turned around to see yunho, rosy cheeked and limbs rested across my body, staring at me lovingly. my brain stutters for a moment while my eyes adjust properly to make sure i was not just seeing things.

"W-What happened last night Yunho?" I asked.

I didn't want to believe my thoughts were true but I feared that those assumptions were indeed the truth.

The rosé haired male sat up against the bedpost, brushing a hand through his knotty strands.

"We were both merely drunk, you got a bit more hostile though, so I took you here and gave you water. From there, that's when things took a more sexual turn." he said, raising his puppy eyes.

So I slept with Yunho? Great. Not even the actual person I was growing a strong desirability to. I couldn't even feel anything. What would San say? Would he be upset, angry or worst of all, disappointed?

Tears welled up almost instantaneously but I forced them to draw back. No more crying Haewon, you have cried enough for the past few days.

"I'm sorry Haewon."

Regret consumed him greatly and it was obvious. Yesterday was a mistake and we both knew that.

"Don't be sorry, for now I think we need to keep this to ourselves."  I insisted, attempting to rise from the bed but descending back from the strength of a grasp.

"And where do you think you're going?" he chuckled, wrapping his arms round my torso and cuddling me close.

The whiff of generous violets and zesty citrus bound to his shirt entered my nostrils immediately as I took in every aroma.

"Yunho!" I giggled at his playfulness. "It's almost time for dinner, I can't miss this curfew again."

He encircles my waist, making his head loll to my shoulder blade. "Just a few minutes, alright?"

"Fine."

Triumphant with his convincing, a smug smile disseminated. I roll my eyes as he chortles into my backside.

You will be the death of me Jeong Yunho, literally.

Dinner didn't have full attendance, this time Yeji and Mingi were unattended. It was unusual, considering now that Wooyoung was now able to sit amongst us for this period only.

Yunho saw me freeze as I caught the devil's eyes blazing into my own. Sliding his accessible hand under the wooden surface, he soothingly rubbed my bare thigh, indicating that he was there for me and that Wooyoung wouldn't pluck up the courage to hurt me.

Comfort sifted over me as I continued to eat ordinarily. The bond we had was something I learnt to appreciate a bit more.

Once everyone had cleared their plates, Wooyoung was escorted out by two guards. I was aware that security had gotten more uptight since the abduction of San but these two looked more higher ranking than the rest. It made sense since Wooyoung was a lunatic and needed to be dealt with in the right way.

Yunho and I came to a sensible decision to no longer hang out as often anymore. I didn't want to become clingy towards him and vice versa, so this was our best option. Even though I do admit, something real was almost about to start between us.

Mingi's POVSkipping dinner wasn't a necessary motive but Yeji had asked me to - she wanted more understanding to Wooyoung and his former life so that she could have open-minded discernment.

"Anything in particular you want to know?"

"Nah, just shoot." she replied, crossing her legs upon the seat.

"For as long as I've know Wooyoung, he wasn't always like this. I believe his father was abusive to his mother and that's what left the trauma and began creating another mannerism to him. At first, none of us knew apart from Lisa, she was always suspicious of everything he did. Everything. Since she was still a newbie to the gang, none of us took her seriously and that was a big mistake. She was his first and only victim who continued to survive." I explained.

"Wait, what do you mean by first and only?" the multicoloured blonde questioned chillingly.

"We don't know the numbers exactly but Wooyoung has led a lot of young teens to commit suicide, more females in this case. His way of torture is commonly represented as Stockholm Syndrome. Bonding with the captives, abusing them physically, mentally playing with their minds and making them lose a sense of identity. Lisa is a very firm woman. With only small help, she was back to her normal self within months of the event."

Yeji's expression was almost unreadable, such disgust and aghast even made my stomach churn in ways not possible.

"So why the fuck are you all just keeping him around?!" He needs real help. How many more people are going to have to keep dying because of him and his depraved behaviour? You almost lost Lisa and now you're on the brink of losing Jennie too. Who even knows how the poor girl feels when she's been cooped up in her room for days!" the cat eyed girl raged.

I had never seen Yeji so furious before. It was quite a turn on, but this wasn't the right time so my arousing thinking could wait.

"Seonghwa is going to speak with her tomorrow at some point, he's our best shot. He has very good moral speech and that may help influence Jennie's mind into better spirits." I explained empathetically.

We could only hope for the best. Predicaments got in the way too straightforwardly and that's what caused the most damage overall.

Stuck in quandary, my only action was to fellow feeling with the blonde and hold her while she clasped onto my arms.

Supporting Yeji was the only thing I could do at this stage. She needed me and I needed her, not for us to become inseparable, but for us to greatly acknowledge each other in a sense of rapport.
